Super easy setup, and getting amazing speeds. So much better than my old Google Nest WiFi. The app is great. The unit seems to run a little hot which is my only negative. Happy with the purchase.

Got this because my Xfinity modem had a lot of latency spikes and interference. This mesh system provides a stable connection even in heavy loads with multiple devices on the network. Slight difficulties setting up, but after a month of use, no major issues.

I bought this system on the recommendation of my future son-in-law. We have a new home that is fairly long and the original WiFi was pretty weak in the front and back and non existent in the back yard. Set up with the Eero was super easy. Download the app, plug in the first hub and follow instructions. The only problem I had was with the automatic registration. I feel like the snag was because my cell coverage at my house is very bad. I was able to call EERO customer service and they were able to quickly help me through the problem. It was very easy to use the same WiFi name and password as my previous system. Everything hooked back up seamlessly. The coverage is now great and with the extra hubs, my WiFi coverage is from the front sidewalk to the back wall of the back yard. It’s worked flawlessly.

Fantastic speeds and coverage, so easy to set up and add new devices. So far I've had absolutely no problems with this, adding a new one to the system took less than 3 minutes. Worth the extra cost for these newer wifi 6e versions, coverage and speed both seem much improved.

Best router hands down. Very easy to install and the app guides you through the process seamlessly. I haven’t experienced a single drop in data or latency.

Had a little trouble during initial install. Called for help and solved it instantly. This unit combines all frequencies into only one SSID. This was awkward for me since I had separate networks for each frequency ( 2.4 and 5.1MHz) with different names. This meant I had to reprogram equipment on the 5.1MHz network (SSID) to the name of the original 2.4MHz networks there were less of those than ones in the 2.4 network . So I used the same name and password for the single EERO network and all 2.4 MHz equipment connected seamlessly. Again I had to reconnect ( reprogram) the 5.1 MHz equipment to the new network name. If I had it to do over again, I would have chosen a system with the capability of multiple SSID’s since my original system had multiple SSID’s. Other than that, the EERO system works well. An ideal system for replacing a single SSID application. The original speed of my WiFi was 400. With the old router, the WiFi speed 40-ft away was 75. With the EERO, it was around 350-375.

Upgraded from an older Google Wifi mesh system and this one is way faster and more robust. Our wifi 6 devices really take advantage and harness the power of this mesh system. Set up was breeze with the eero app and at 40% off right now it was the perfect time for an upgrade. Love it so far

pros: It's a fast wifi with easy setup and decent range between units. cons: Each unit only has 2 ports. Simple IP/Website blocking is locked behind a paid subscription(This has been a historically free feature with any other brand of WiFi Router that I have used in the past). I'm not going to purchase Eero again.

Good stable wi-fi, simple to implement

Seems to be a pretty good wi-fi system; I won't say that it has dramatically improved my home's wi-fi internet speeds versus the experience I was getting with the standard verizon router - but all-all-all, the devices are nice, very easy to install, and the app is nice to use. Bit of a shame they push the 'plus' subscription at you so 'front and center' - that's not necessary. I had an Archer router before, and that had an additional subscription service that was not as 'in your face'. My wi-fi has been pretty stable since installing, and speeds consistent. Would recommend if you want solid coverage over a larger home, and a degree of future-proofing, with the side benefit of very simple install and a very good supporting app.

I bought these to upgrade from my EERO Pro 6 router. I saw a immediate improvements in the latency and download speeds. Absolutely worth the upgrade. I think the range of the eero devices could be better, but they work really well. I would recommend.

Easy to deploy, potential privacy issues

N.B.: If you have concerns about the privacy of your network information, this is probably not the device for you. After my old Synology router died from overheating, I thought I would give eero a shot since they're recommended by my ISP, Sonic. Setup was surprisingly simple via the app, and IPv6 just works, which was certainly not true with my last router. Internet access also became noticeably more responsive, which makes sense given the age and failing hardware of my old router. What's a little surprising is that, in my 700 square foot apartment, I see a noticeable decrease in signal strength when I'm just down the hallway. I don't see any packet loss or significant latency, but I would expect the signal to be stronger. A potential caveat with regard to the app-based setup: the app works even outside the network, which implies that the router is using a cloud-based service for configuration. This raises a few concerns. First of all, the router has administration access exposed to the Internet. Second, if eero goes out of business, the router will cease to be manageable, since the cloud service will go away. Finally, eero's privacy policy indicates that they don't track your Internet activity, but they do collect information such as your SSIDs, the hardware on your network, and network utilization and associate that information with you, personally. Their privacy policy indicates that this information may be shared with "affiliates," so make of that what you will. Due to the app-based nature of management, people who really want to fiddle with their network will probably be dissatisfied. The app is very easy to use and shows quite a lot of information, but certain functionality, such as presenting daily or monthly network statistics, is only available if you buy a subscription to eero Plus. The app did show me that my HP printer was somehow downloading exactly 1 GB of data daily and uploading about 850 MB, but there's no way to get traffic analysis out of the router to see what the printer was connecting to, although perhaps this functionality is available in eero Plus. And, of course, the curse of the mobile app is that it tries periodically to upsell you on the subscription and business offerings. Pros: * Easy to set up * Fast * Great IPv6 support Cons: * Somewhat limited range * Advanced features require subscription * Only one physical network port, so connecting more than one wired device requires a separate switch * Cloud-based service raises privacy, security, and longevity concerns On balance, I recommend the product for speed and ease of use, but I have some misgivings about the privacy implications of the company's data collection and would very much prefer to have the option to disable or restrict that capability.
