I recently upgraded to the eero mesh Wi-Fi system, and it’s been a game-changer for my home network. The setup was incredibly straightforward, thanks to the intuitive eero app guiding me through each step. Within minutes, I had robust Wi-Fi coverage throughout my entire house, eliminating previous dead zones and buffering issues.

Best 6E Mesh System

The eero Pro 6E is the best mesh system out there. I used these to replace my ISP’s router and the range and speeds far exceed what was offered. They’re simple to setup, troubleshoot, and having Thread and smart home features makes it easy to integrate into my home. Checkout eero+ for some additional security features and apps as well!

The Eero system is very easy to setup and use. Just plug in and follow the steps on the app. My previous router kept going out. The Eero has improved the Wi-Fi coverage and speeds in my house tremendously. Being Wi-Fi 6E the 6ghz back channel is less crowded allowing the Eeros to communicate with each other better and free up bandwidth on the 5ghz and 2.4ghz channels for my devices.

The best router we have ever had

The router gives us more speed than we need but we love it anyway! It gives us plenty of range for a decent sized house and we can now take full advantage of our internet plan through Xfinity/Comcast. It is on the pricier side and I would only recommend it to people who need a lot of speed or has a lot of gamers in their household.

Great wifi rounter. I know 6k sq ft of coverage sound like over kill but having no dead spots ia worth having more than you need. Speeds are great. I enjoy having 2 ethernet ports on each node. No lag when streaming or gaming! The app is very easy to use and you can easily manage your network even away from home.

Excellent Mesh Wifi System

Excellent mesh system and the second one I've purchased. Easy to setup and manage, and the coverage is fantastic. They're much larger than I was anticipating, and they can get a bit warm at times, but I have no complaints.

We bought this system to help boost our existing Xfinity connection. Since moving to a more rural area our wifi connection became spotty and slower. The reviews were great for the Eero - Pro tri-band mesh system so we figured we'd give it a try. It has not disappointed. I work from home and since getting this system I haven't dropped my connection again. Much faster than we've ever had. We are very glad we bought this. We previously had the Nighthawk system which worked ok but this by far is much faster and dependable. I highly recommend it.

After trying to use the little pods that Xfinity initially recommended with no improvement in WiFi coverage I decided to splurge on these. Worth every penny. Easy to set-up and the coverage on all floors of the house, including the basement is excellent.

It’s pricey. However, Internet/Wi-Fi has now become an essential part of our everyday lives just as gas & water in the home. Wouldn’t you like to stop worrying about buffering, range, and download speed? This is an upgrade from the eero pro mesh system, I had to upgrade because Spectrum upgraded our standard internet service to 300 mbps. Although the other one worked for years, it was being overpowered since it can only take 200 mbps.
I have Ring cameras, multiple 4K smart TVs, Sonos eco system, multiple game consoles, multiple iPads and cell phones, Hue Lights, and many smart home products. It gets the job done without slowing us down. How exciting can internet get? Not much but definitely worth not having to worry about it.
I recommend this system or eero in general (lifestyle) to a family member and friends.
eero set up;
Very easy the first time around, however it did take me a while since I was upgrading an existing eero system. If you are not tech savvy, I 100% recommend having Geek Squad install it before you return it.

Can't recommend highly enough. Had two ATT Extenders and still couldn't get WiFi everywhere in the house. EERO took care of the problem and have even better speed to all devices. Easy to set up and didn't have to change any settings on the Modem. Use to have speeds of 12 Mbps to TV's and now have over 100 Mbps.

Totally fixed my intermittent disconnecting problems with my devices. Speeds are now downloading at the rate in which I pay for. It came with three devices and I’ve only used 2 and I have complete coverage over my whole house. I have centrally downstairs and the other centrally located upstairs and works perfect! EASY SETUP AS WELL!!

Seamless upgrade from Eero 6 Pro

I upgraded from the Eero 6 Pro. I also updated my cable modem to get 2.5 GBPs. I liked that the app transferred my settings to the new router and additional access point. It was a truly seamless upgrade. The wireless speeds I’m seeing on my iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Pro m4 is 1500 Mbps. The Black Friday sale at $259 made for an affordable upgrade. If you don’t have 6E devices, you could always use this hardwired or be ready for when you do.

Just got 1 Gbps internet service installed, and received 2 x erro pro 6 from the internet service provider (ISP). I knew I would need additional coverage so I added 3 x eero pro 6e from Best Buy. It turns out that I only needed 4 x erro so I dropped one of the pro 6 and ended up using 3 x pro 6e and 1 of of 2 of the pro 6 which was supplied by ISP.
The installation was very easy. I learned that you can have too many erro extenders which manifest itself in internet traffic collisions and 2 of 4 erros crashing requiring an unplug and plug to restore system; also impacted Wi-Fi performance.
Once I got that sorted out, started receiving stable performance.
Direct ethernet connections maximizes internet performance.
Wi-Fi performance improves as distance to erro extender decreases.
Eero app is useful as it allows you the managed (pause or unpause) internet traffic on each connected device as well as other useful monitoring.
Price was right when I purchased it from Best Buy (much lower than list price).
So far I’m happy with the purchase.

Great Router, but Big Holes in Parental Controls

If you don’t have kids, this is a great mesh system at a great price point. Just buy it! It’s easy to set up and provides reliable connections. It gives you access to the uncongested 6GHz WiFi band at ¼ the price of a WiFi 7 router which 95% of folks will never need. Finally, it is super easy to configure everything in the app.
So, I was disappointed when I started setting up the parental controls and found two gaping holes. In fairness, I’ll say that this isn’t the only router with these problems. TP-Link’s routers have them and the Verizon router I tried was far worse. My old Netgear router didn’t have these holes, so I’ll likely return the eero and get an Orbi.
First and most importantly, there is no way to block VPNs. These days, most anti-virus software comes with a VPN utility. This is essential security when connecting to public WiFi networks, but on your home network, all a kid needs to do is turn on the VPN and they’ve bypassed all content filtering.
Second, there is no way to set default parental controls for all devices. Any device added to the network or joining with a different MAC address will have unrestricted access until it is manually assigned to a more restrictive Parental Control Profile. It’s ridiculously easy to change the MAC address on PCs and Macs, there is an app to change Android MAC addresses, and iPhone’s Private Relay creates a new MAC address every time it reconnects to a network. Also a visiting friend’s computer will default to no parental controls.
The parent should be able to set a default level of restrictive access, then move specific devices to less restrictive profiles as warranted. Most folks will not want to have to constantly monitor and assign devices on their network.
In the end, no amount of technology can replace actual parenting. However, the companies enabling the internet need to provide effective tools to help parents, especially those who don’t work in tech and wouldn’t know to even ask these questions.
I like sooooo much about this great mesh WiFi system. I just would like to see improvements to the parental controls so I can keep it.

Great addition if want easy setup and everything to work. Have this in both mine and my parents house. Parents house had terrible wifi coverage and this fixed everything. Easy app to manage as well, no complaints.
