Wired speeds were 500 Mbps but wifi speeds wer 50-100 Mbps. I’d had enough of slow speeds and frequent drops and decided to try the Eero again, the last Eero I owned was the Eero Pro. These do not dissapoint. Speed is now consistently 400-500 Mbps, no more dropped connections. The only thing I don’t like is the parental controls stuck behind a paywall. All the other features of Eero plus I can do without but the parental controls should absolutely be a part of the basic package. Subscription Paywalling parental controls is corporate greed at it’s worst.

They’re super easy to set up but their range wasn’t as far as I was expecting. I wasn’t impressed with their ability to get the signal through walls either.

While the eero Pro 7 is designed to provide robust mesh coverage, Wi-Fi performance can be affected by several factors including home construction materials, unit placement, and interference from other devices. Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help optimize your system's performance: 1. Place eeros where they can talk to each other. 2. Place eeros on a hard, flat surface. 3. Keep your eeros out in the open. 4. Whenever possible, aim for direct line of sight between eeros. The fewer the walls between your eeros, the better. 5. Try placing your eero near doors; this may help since wood is less dense and easier for WiFi waves to penetrate. 6. Avoid placing your eero in a location near heavy metal or any other point of interference, such as a microwave. If these steps don't improve your coverage and signal penetration, call eero customer service so they can suggest optimal placement strategies or discuss whether additional units might be beneficial for your particular environment. I had issues with mesh systems before since my home has thick plaster walls but I’ve been getting 900mb upload and download speeds from my WiFi and 2gbs on Ethernet

I normally have 50+ devices connected with 1 or 2 people streaming at one time. Have experienced fewer drops since moving over to the eero Pro 7. I would recommend.

It was very easy to set up from the app on my phone. I would recommend this product as it offers excellent performance at a reasonable price.

Pretty seamless process when using the app. Upgraded mostly to take advantage of newest security protocols so performance was not really an issue.
