Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

Really happy with older Eero system

Works great! I wanted something that was affordable in a mesh router system. I have a 2000 plus sq ft octagon shaped home with lots of weird internal walls and 3 floors. I was using one wireless router previously that only provided about 2-10 mbps down to an office area. The internet connection I pay for is advertised as 50 mbps down. I chose this particular product because it has a dedicated band for talking to each other AND each unit has an ethernet connection available. Set up was easy with my mobile phone. My down speeds went to around 58 mbps after installing all 3 units. In my office, it didn't seem to make much difference if my computer was plugged in directly to the ethernet jack or just communicated wirelessly. However, my smart TV had some trouble keeping a good connection. My guess is that my Sony TV's wifi components weren't working well with the eero. Regardless, I then just put the upstairs eero nearby the TV, and plugged the TV into the eero with the ethernet jack. Bingo, works like a charm. While this system was more expensive because of the ethernet, I feel it was great insurance for problem devices. I highly recommend this older, but more affordable system. The newest systems from Eero have more up to date tech (WiFi 6), but I didn't need that yet, and didn't want to pay a premium for it. I think my wife likes the units because there are no visible antenna, and they seem to work equally well under things like chairs, or behind cabinets, to hide them. Having 3 units probably makes all the difference. I might consider upgrading my internet speed now.

I recently moved to a new home 2 yrs ago and wanted Wi-Fi that could take advantage of my 1 GIG Internet. I wanted a mesh system so the devices would always connect to the fastest access point. The Eero system does all of that and it's easy to setup and maintain. It's pricey, but if you want a fast connection anywhere in the house, this is it. Their tech support is very good. I purchased the 3 eeros because I have a 2 level home. I placed 1 eero on one end and the 2ND on the other side upstairs. The 3Rd was placed in the middle location down stairs. This covers all my devices inside and outside.

Super simple to setup and speeds are decent. Actually got faster as it has “learned” our system. I just added another pod to my setup and am extremely happy with the coverage as my x6s just wasn’t getting it done even with the nighthawk extender.

Easy to set up, strong signal, and never skips a beat. The best investment my wife and I have ever made concerning our internet, hands down!

I was having issues with my router losing it's internet connection and was frequently having to restart the router to regain connectivity. I have had the eero system for about a month and the connection has been very stable and the range covers my entire house and yard with a strong connection. Was very easy to setup. I like how the system has the intelligence to determine which of the eeros it should connect to and effectively load balances the connections.

So, this is an excellent system that I have owned for several months, and so far haven't had any issues (aside from one dying). I had one unit die, but Eero quickly sent me a replacement, so A+ for customer service. I'd be recommending these to anyone and everyone, and would even be purchasing them for my parents, BUT... The price... Wow, that's a hard pill to swallow for many folks. Trying to convince people that they should spend $500 on WiFi? As a tech enthusiast, work from home guy, and programmer, this seems like something that someone like me would invest in, but for the public at large? That's asking a lot. I think for this to truly become the mainstream choice for the public, and to replace common routers, we're going to need to start seeing sub-$200 solutions. I replaced my gaming router, and have never looked back. It truly performs outstanding, and I'd be hard pressed to go back to the old way of doing things, with a single router. Generally, the wireless speeds are between 200Mbps, and 250Mbps (on average) throughout the house. This brings me to my only complaint/recommendation: I pay for 1Gbps, and if I pay $500 for a system, it would be nice for me to be able to pull that speed, when wired directly to a remote base. That's not the case, but that may just be a limitation of current WiFi speeds. That's fine. I'm not a tinkerer when it comes to my network (I used to be, but these days I just want it to work). I don't think this has the billion settings advanced routers have, but I don't care. I change the DNS servers to the ones I typically use, set it, and forget it.

I purchased this after returning the linksys velop system. I have a 2000 sqft home with 27 devices connected excluding guests. This product, is absolutely amazing. It is very easy to set up, and reliable. I have had NO downtime since I installed it. This product, along with gigablast is the perfect solution for a family that uses devices frequently, a smart home set up, and my constant video conference meetings while I work at home. We do not get verizon service where we live so stable wifi calling is a must. This product handles all of this with no problem. Paired with arris surfboard sb6190.

Yes, it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. Prior to installing the Eero Pro I was lucky to pull 50 Mbps out of my 500 Mbps max on many of the rooms in my home. I had constant problems with dropped signal and buffering while streaming. With this three-pack I was able to extend the signal to all corners of my home and consistently extract 300 Mbps over WiFi in all areas of the home. There are probably better systems out there, but why spend more, especially when setting this thing up is such a breeze?

Expensive but worth every penny. I purchased EERO for the Ratings I've Read and now experience. You won't be dis-satisfied. I have a lot of WiFi Devises in my home including Phones, TV's Roku Devises and I am Cable Free. There is nothing in my house anymore that is hard wired because it's just nt necessary. My From my Basement to the fist and second floor the connection is seamless. It's easy to hook up and only took me about 15 Min. to accomplish. Overall Best in Class. I have recommended to several of my friends and family and they have or now plan to convert from the traditional Router

Purchased this to replace AMPLIFI that had marginal performance at best. The amplifi setup was vase plus 3 antennas placed around the house to optimize signal. Wasn’t horrible just never got speeds I expected. Already had cat 6 cable to multiple bedrooms and media room and used eero pro setup as hardwired in each location. Remarkable difference. Now have robust signal and transfer speeds throughout our home. Setup was a breeze. Special note these are hardwired with Ethernet which I would say is key to getting speeds most of us expect. Very pleased w product.

Powerful and user friendly. Configuration was very simple, but you need to follow the instructions so it is not just plug and play. When having power failures you need to make sure that you re set the units again, which was easy, but unexpected (disconnect from electrical outlet and connect back again). Signal was replicated at an extraordinary rate, so I had no issue with my internet connections or video conference. Mobile app is user friendly. Unfortunately the units are very sensitive to fluctuations in power. After only 2 months I lost one due to power outage and there was no way to repair it, so you better pay for additional guarantee. It was connected to surge protector, but still.......

Finally an Wi-Fi system that really works! I previously used one of netgear’s most expensive routers along with 3 extenders. I constantly had issues with signal and experienced delays in between extenders. Now it is seamless and reliable with a much stronger signal!!

I had been struggling with internet connection within my home, but after consulting with one of the Best Buy team members, he directed me to the Eero Pro Mesh Wi-Fi System. I have not regretted the decision to purchase this system. It is expensive on the front end, but you get what you pay for. This system has provided us with better connections in areas of my house I previously wasn't and I'm actually getting the speeds I'm paying for. Aesthetically, it looks sleek and fits in with the rest of the decor in the house. Hands down, worth the buy!

Set up was a breeze, instructions are simple and straight forward. I replaced some apple routers (3) with these. It took maybe 10-15 min at most. The speed increased tremendously. I have a two story house that has main router on ground floor at one end, the stairway is on the opposite end of the house. I put the three routers in one with Spectrum connection, one at bottom of stairs and one upstairs. 4,000 sq ft. great coverage and the coverage outside by our pool and bbq area are great where it was nonexistent previously.
