Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

PERFECT for large home and family

I purchased this one after having some issues with another mesh system I bought a few years ago. It seems the problem with the first WiFi mesh system I bought was that my family has 30+ devices connected at all times, and would often overload the hardware. Additionally, my home is large. This Eero PRO solved all of my problems. I have had it running the WiFi in my home for about three months now, and have had stellar results. We have had no devices fall off the network, no outages, and devices can seamlessly travel from node to node with no limitations. I have struggled in the past with all WiFi set ups not reaching the far corners of my home, but this one covers everything out of the box. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly simple and took very little time. The Eero Pro is one of the greatest purchases I have ever made to improve my quality of life.

I’m experienced in networking and have used Traditional routers for years. We had two set up as access points with separate SSIDs and it was always a hassle having to change depending on the part of the house we were in. After doing a lot of research on Mesh systems I decided to go with the Eero network. No regrets. Very easy to setup and has been trouble free since. I love the app and I can remotely reset the network if necessary. We had a power outage and my wife had a problem with her phone connecting. I reset the network with the app and she was good to go. She probably just needed to restart her phone but it was easier for me to just take care of it on my end. The customer support is amazing. You can talk to a human and they can see your network and help troubleshoot. When I initially set it up, I set it up incorrectly with my Linksys router I use for IP assignment. The rep was able to diagnose my problem within a minute and instructed me on how to change the Eero settings to work properly.

This is my second purchase of this item. The first set I purchased for my own home and have loved the coverage they provide and ease of setup and use. The second set was purchased for my parents home. The home automation company they hired to install devices at their home recommended this product.

My experience with this product is mixed. The coverage provided is outstanding and seamless. It is also fast. I enjoy the iOS application as well, which makes it easy to monitor the network and make changes or updates. It also integrates with Apple HomeKit. The thing that really annoys me is that there are some features built into the system that requires a monthly subscription to access. If you want features such as "advanced security" (which sounds like a firewall that "protect[s] all the devices on your network from potential viruses, malware, phishing attacks, and more"), content filters, ad blocking, and safe searches, you have to pay a monthly subscription fee ($3 per month). A more robust plan that includes additional features is $10 a month. I just paid $500 for this system and having to pay a subscription for items that I have received for free with other routers that cost less money is somewhat annoying. If not for this subscription model, I would probably have given the system five stars. As it is, if I had known this on the front end, I probably would have purchased a different system from a competitor.

Setup was a breeze. Returned Netgear r9000 x10 after being plagued with technical issues. First try with a mesh system and just a few days in and love it. If that changes of course this will be updated. Speeds are either similar or improved in comparison to the router style r9000 x10 that I returned.

I bought these and Orbi at the same time. Eero was super easy set up. Nice there was 3 access points. App was crazy simple to manage. Just was not as strong as Orbi. Definitely a good but if you want Wi-Fi with pretty good speed throughout your house. With total control through an app. If you have the money and care about all that I listed and having 3 access points over Ethernet ports. Just pricy!

Eero WIFI mesh couldn't be any easier to setup. The coverage in my house and around my house is now great. I even used the Ethernet port on the second unit to connect the PlayStation and worked like a charm. I didn't expect that. Good for those items that don't have the latest WIFI technologies.

Love this system. Very easy to install using the app. We have no issues with this mesh system moving around the house. Have decent reception outside of the house about 100 feet away in the shed. Able to stream video that far away. Very fast download speeds.

I was initially hesitant due to the price of eero. I tried some other wifi extenders without much success. I decided to bite the bullet and give eero a try. Super easy to install and set up. So far the improvement in wifi has been noticeable and great to see.

I bought this to replace a Netgear Orbi system that simply quit functioning. The setup on the EERO was much faster and easier than Orbi. We are a relatively high internet use family and the EERO easily handles our traffic. We've been using this for a few months now and I couldn't be happier.

I am a tech lover and have 5 children. They need wifi for school work and all, but I need the ability to control who is on network and when. This is the only USER FRIENDLY solution. You assign the devices to a person then give them access with a schedule. Unreal. Also the coverage is so dang good.

Easy to install, extends WiFi as advertised. Before eero I would have to reset my router constantly, and lost signal in parts of my home. Haven’t had one issue since I plugged the system in, with WiFi in the entire house and yard. Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny spent!!!!

I had a download speed of 200 in my living room, but only 12 in my office. After installing the eeros system I stayed at 200 in the living room and leaped to 170 in my office. Easy to set up. Highly recommend.

The Eero system is so easy to set up right out of the box. It took me about 15 minutes to do so and I am by no means a tech guy. The performance is excellent too and all of our devices (Sonos, Ring, SimpliSafe, computers, phones) easily connected and have great wifi service now.

This answered all of the things that could be expected from a home WiFi system. It provides wireless coverage for a medium to large home, virus blocking software with automatic updates and a built in firewall to monitor network traffic. The system was easy to install and telephone support from EERO was very good with a surprising followup call from the company. The one negative thing is that there is no user manual in the box. All documentation is online in the form of questions and answers and no downloadable manual. This is useless if you have a question during installation and do not have a network connection. So, go to the web site BEFORE installation is started and look thru the questions and answers to become familiar with the product. Cutting and pasting some answers to a word processor or a text file might be a good idea.

We upgraded from the Netgear gaming router to this and have been so impressed. We had multiple dead spots and lagging issues with our previous router. The eero system is amazing! We no longer have dead spots and the speeds are incredible.
