Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the ease of use, coverage, and setup of the Pro Mesh Wi-Fi 5 System. Many appreciate the improved range, performance, and signal strength, resulting in a better overall experience. However, some customers find the price to be expensive, and a few have noted that the units can get warm. While some buffering issues were reported previously, the system largely resolves these problems for most users.

I have up to 1GB speed coming into the house from the ISP. It goes into an Arris SB8200 cable modem and then into one of the Eero mesh devices. That Eero acts as the gateway and plugs into a Netgear SE3008 switch which then feeds several devices in my home office. I have an Eero mesh device on each of the 3 floors in my 50+ year old house (upper floor, main floor, basement). Speed at gateway (upper floor) is 900MB+ according to the app on my phone. Speed on Main floor is around 500MB. Speed in basement is around 200MB. 3000 sq ft of house to cover. 5 adults and a teenager pulling on the network most of the day. The phone app is a great tool. Haven't been able to whitelist my devices for better security control. Hopefully that comes with an update to the app?

We purchased an nighthawk from netgear, even though it has multiple channels, it always has an issue. We had to reset every other day. I was looking for a booster but the Best Buy expert told me to try new mesh technology. It is awesome! It was easy to set up and 3 covers my entire house (+3000sq ft house). I went from slow to fast. So very happy!

Love this mesh system router! It was a breeze to setup and monitor devices. The install easily covers my two level, 2,000 sq ft home. I have 23 devices on the system and coverage and speed are much better than my old Apple wireless system. On the old system coverage and bandwidth were always an issue. Not any more!

In the age of wireless and all things streaming, my old wireless network was not able to accommodate all my devices with 4K UHD streams. The range was also limited with dropped signals becoming all the norm. At first, I went the cheap route by purchasing and installing a wifi extender to the area of my home that had poor signal. It worked for a brief moment with up to 5Ghz bandwidth but eventually I still experienced signal loss on my phone or tablet. After reading some positive reviews and hearing favorable feedback from other family members that have switched to a mesh system, I decided to convert over as well. I decided on the eero - Pro Mesh WIFI System. No regrets. Full bandwidth on all devices at 5Ghz. No dead spots in any part of the house including outside as well. This system covers all 1400 sq.ft. of my home and then some. This system may be overkill as far as range for my application but I'd rather have it that way than to be dealing with annoying connection issues. The eero system is very simple to setup and even has a simple app that helps you monitor your network, check your bandwidth speeds, see and control what devices are connected to your network. Overall, this system works great! The eero - Pro Mesh WIfi System is the way to go if you are looking to upgrade or setup a wifi system in your home. Here is a list of some of the items I have connected to the network daily and no issues when each are in use. 8 ch. 4K HdNVR security system. 2 Amazon Firesticks ( one being 4K) Nvidia Shield Samsung Tv Marantz AV surround receiver Xbox 2 cell phones, 2 tablets, 1 PC, 1 Macbook 2 ring devices Nest Thermostat Traeger smoker grill even. Gotta have that wireless cooking!

    Best way for large home

Let me start by saying I no very little about IT. House is 5,600 square feet two levels. I purchased a Linksys 3200 and 3 RE7000 extension. Horrible experience. TV’s had drag, disconnected, etc. Also could barely get 30 MBS throughout the home. We have fiber so 100+ MBS should be the norm. The other issue with this system was each extender had its own WiFi network. Very clunky. Read about the Eero system and understood you are not extending the line router, you are creating in essence 3 different routers. Put them all on the lower level and it’s worked fantastic. I tested every room and get 100+ MBS now. Love the app and took me all of 10 minutes to set up. Highly recommend for large homes. Finally, we run anywhere between 20-25 gadgets at any given time with X box and PlayStation, TV (Hulu) and so far fantastic coverage. You can check on your app what router each device connects to as you move through out the home, helps with WiFi distribution. Well worth the $$$.

Need more WiFi strength? The Eero Pro devices work well in any space. Purchase the three-pack for less, get more power. Works easily, Eero App on phone shows devices, and support is accessible via email. Easy install in minutes! Attractive modern device looks good anywhere, doesn’t take up space. Need access to window if you stretch from building to building. Best Buy staff can do on sute assessment with tech options.

The setup for this system was extremely easy to setup up. I have been using this with over 70 devices on the network. Performance is solid, no slow downs or crashing. I was hesitant about the price but after replacing routers every two years and dealing with performance issues I went for eero. Extremely pleased overall!

I got fed up with having to be a network systems engineer to use my old mesh system and just decided it was time. eero is a little more expensive but I wish I had purchased it first, would have saved me a year of headaches. We use the system as the wifi delivery for the household along with a Netgear gaming router as the main "brain" of the routing system. Setting this up started easy enough but we ended up needing some help from eero. The tech was extremely helpful, stayed on the line til all three eeros were working and connected. We haven't had a problem since. We have had to do one firmware update since then and because of how our system is set up we need to do the added step of restarting the main router after a firmware update to the eeros, but everything connects up fine and off we go. Highly recommend this system

Cost efficient for one story 2000 square foot home. I started with one eero installed by necessity at the farthest room with excellent pickup except at the opposite end of the house that had good to fair pickup. The second unit was easy to install and now we have whole house Wifi via Starlink.

We have a 4500 sq foot home on three stories. The router used to be in the basement. It was as Linksys 1200ac Double band router. We always had dead spots and slow connections. I finally had it once COVID hit and we were all home using the WiFi all the time. I broke down and bought the Eero pro. I wanted the triple band and a mesh system was important. But I was nervous. We have had no more dead spots and the speed is good. If I could change it in any way I would change the way the family profiles work with the eero app. We previously used Circle TJ manage internet time and grant reward time for the kids. I thought eero would allow us to get rid of circle which can slow down our internet. But the eero app doesnt have great flexibility to reward time. It’s either in or off. You can set filters for age appropriateness. And you can set pause times. But if you want to extend the time or delay the pause it’s more difficult.

My Apple AirPort Extreme failed after many years. I needed to replace my system as I have a tin ceiling on all of my first floor. My base station is located upstairs. I had my Apple routers hard wired between floors to be able to extend my coverage. After installing the eero pro, I have great coverage without having to connect between floors with an Ethernet cable. It is overkill for the size of my house, but I wanted good reception. I was getting low to mid-90’s and I am now averaging around 115 mbps. The added features I get ad blocking, threat blocking and scans to keep me protected. I also get daily and weekly reports on what has happened. I am pleased that I spent the extra money and upgraded to this mesh system.

    Finally getting consistent wifi speeds

My cable internet is 300mbps, but my old wifi was getting me sometimes 200mbps, but sometimes 30mbps. It was wildly inconsistent. My house footprint is large enough that I decided to try a mesh system. I looked at many, and it seemed like there were a lot of competitive choices out there. I figured I couldn't go wrong with the top 3 or so I looked at. I chose the Eero, and I've been thrilled so far. It's expensive to say the least, but fortunately, I got this on sale at Best Buy (cheaper than Amazon at the time). Consistently getting over 200mbps on wifi from rooms where I used to consistently get less than 40mbps. Even in areas where I used to get 200mbps, but it was inconsistent, I'm now getting consistent speeds. In addition, the app lets me check the speeds that it is getting from the modem, so I don't have to wonder if it's my wifi or if it's the modem/internet provider Very happy so far.

Love this mesh network system. Covers the house fairly well but we did add additional hubs due the large number of devices that connect to each hub. That helped increase speed and reliability.

Truly plug & play. The best I've used. I get great coverage/ speed all over my 4400 sq house. Had it for about a month and not once dropped. Also the speed is great. It replaced my Orbi. It took only few minutes to setup. Love it, I got lucky with a sale price.

This product is so simple to set up. Coverage is complete at 5Ghz everywhere (and 2.4Ghz too) range is incredible and super strong signal. The most reliable and stable router, no reboots ever(so far). Great app monitors and controls everything. Also adds ethernet port at each Eero.
