Still working out the room acoustics with this addition. Mated the subwoofer to a pair of Elac Debut 2.0's. Amazing sound! The app worked perfectly the first time for an easy setup. Got the sub at a great price. Thank you Best Buy!

Underwhelming performance at a high price

For the price, I feel this sub underperforms. In the medium size room (12 x 17) where I set up my sub & speakers, this item does not fill the space unless the sub volume AND receiver sub volumes are both nearly maxed... and at that level, the sub tended only to muddy the sound. The 3010 does come with some cool options for tweaking output peaks & valleys. However, I've tried all of these options in attempting to produce clear bass a medium-high levels without any luck at all. The plus-side of this sub: At close listening distances (e.g 5-10 ft), it sounds fantastic. For example, if you're at your keyboard listening to your powered or amplified desktop speakers and the 3010 is nearby and at a lower volume, it sounds great. The definition is there Overall, I feel it needs to do better than just good "up close" listening, especially at the price it's currently going for.

    Great in theory.

Great Idea and features but worthless when amp cuts out early. Does not handle much volume for very long. Shuts down after 1 song at higher volumes. Strange because it has low level rca inputs. Good luck getting any service or support. This is a "must buy" extended service situation.
