i'm normally not big on multiplayers and bought this game only because i trusted that FromSoft wouldn't let me down, and, sure enough, i've had tons of fun with this game. i've only played with randoms so far, but i haven't had any major issues with teammates in my 100+ hours of play. the combat is as satisfying as you'd expect from FromSoft. and while the game isn't easy (particularly when playing against an event boss), it should be less intimidating to most players than FromSoft's other games, since you always have allies helping you (unless you run off on your own). highly recommended.

Solid Game - but can be very hard for Normies. This game is not an Elden Ring expansion, it's a standalone game that favors multiplayer 3 man teams. Single player is very hard to make even the 2nd Day event. Still it's a From Software game which most fans of them will like.

My son got me into the Elden Ring series of games. They are rather difficult but fun to play. I am still learning the platform but so far the game is great. I enjoy playing the online portion sonother players can assist in conquering enemies and bosses.

Arrived on time on day of release. Super happy. Great game highly recommend. Make sure to get 2 other people for maximum enjoyment!

After sinking over 200 hours into Elden Ring: Nightreign and proudly earning the Platinum Trophy, I can confidently say this is one of the most breathtaking and unforgettable gaming experiences I’ve ever had. FromSoftware has once again redefined what an action-RPG can be, building upon the original Elden Ring with darker themes, richer lore, and even more brutal, rewarding combat. Nightreign delivers an atmosphere dripping with tension and mystery. The new regions—twisted wastelands, shadow-soaked ruins, and night-haunted castles—are not just visually stunning but narratively dense, rewarding exploration with secrets, new builds, and lore that deepens the mythos. The boss fights are on another level—ferocious, beautiful, and each one unforgettable in design and mechanics. "Elden Ring Nightreign" for PlayStation 5 is a truly fantastic and unexpected gem! As a long-time fan of Elden Ring, I was curious to see how a roguelike twist would play out, and I'm genuinely impressed. The fast-paced, cooperative gameplay is incredibly addictive, and it’s a blast teaming up with friends to take on the Nightlords. Each run feels unique thanks to the diverse Nightfarers and the ever-changing Limveld. It's a brilliant blend of familiar elements with a fresh, high-energy approach that makes it incredibly replayable. If you love Elden Ring and are looking for something new and exciting, this is definitely worth picking up!

Awesome Game, very emmersive despite the difficulty enjoyed a lot

First, you need to be familiar with Elden Ring to get the most out of this one. The circle closing mechanic adds excitement to the Souls formula, and jolly co-operation has never felt more necessary. However, queueing can take forever, and people will leave your expedition constantly. So there's RNG in multiple ways, but 70 hours in still having a blast.

Straightforward gameplay and a very fun difficulty curve

It's a roguelite Elden Ring where each expedition takes the course over 3 nights (if you can survive, that is), which takes about 40-45 minutes in real life. You'll see familiar enemies from the game of Elden Ring as well as bosses from other FromSoftware games like Dark Souls. The game is fun and can get addicting. With 8 characters to choose from each having their own storyline, there's quite a bit of replay value. I've already put in over 50 hours into the game.

Elden Ring Nightreign was a fun and challenging multiplayer experience. Lots of characters with different playstyles and diverse bosses. Playing alone or with randoms online definitely makes it harder, so the best way to play is with 2 other friends you can communicate with!

A fun Elden Ring spinoff game that focuses on online multiplayer. Very challenging at times, but if you work as a team with other players, you can get through a run and win most of the time. Going through various runs is the addicting part of this gameplay.

A multiplayer focused version of Elden Ring. If you always wanted to play through Elden Ring with friends (easily), then this is for you. If you were hoping for another solo game, it's limited in that regard. Overall, in my opinion, it's very fun and well worth the $40 price tag!

I absolutely LOVED the base game of elden ring and nightreign is the PERFECT spinoff for me. I love how the gameplay was changed up and honestly it is the best way to get my elden ring fix.
