way better than expected, love it, highly recommended

Best game in the last decade. Absolutely revolutionary open world with the tried and true Souls combat + formula. I do have to give this a 1 because of how Best Buy handled my Preorder which I had placed since early December. I am sure this review will be deleted anyways just how they deleted the other 50+ 1 star reviews, but this is my honest feedback. Amazing game, but do not do digital through Best Buy.

Great game but should finally get discounted on pc. Beautiful images and story.

Its been 7 hours since release when I preordered this game on the 21st and I STILL HAVE NO CODE! I will never preorder from best buy ever again due to this issue. If you sell a preorder code maybe next time deliver it ON TIME!

4 hours since purchase... still no key.. bestbuy has no answers.

Not only will they not send you the code on release date but they will cancel your pre-order bonus without any compensation. Fk this place.

This is the best game of 2022 and possibly the best game ever.

I've never been a fan of Souls games. For years I've bought them for my son and he always seemed to like them. I always felt they were too hard and confusing with no redeeming storyline. I've always been more of a fan of other series like Witcher and Skyrim or even GTA games. Where the open world had deep developed stories. Well, now that that's out of the way. My review of this game would be a 10 out of 10. While Elden rings story at times is very weak and similar to what you got with other souls game. They nailed pretty much every other facet of game development. The world is amazing, Combat is amazing, the number of weapons and types of play styles you can use is amazing, the bosses are amazing, and the size of the map is massive and just keeps growing. At times I'm just completely blown away. My only gripe other than the framerate issues at launch is that the lack of a good story kind of holds the game back once you get far. Earlier in the game, it doesn't really matter because there is so much to explore but later in the game, I feel like I need some direction. Regardless the game is still in a league of its own and deserves a perfect if not near perfect score.

I don't know about people who pre-ordered the game, but if you buy it now you are able to redeem the game on steam and downloaded it as you should.

I purchased at noon yesterday and its morning the next day and no code has been sent. I will never buy games here again.
