Gouge in dryer and thumping sound

We also found where the delivery people had made a gouge in the bottom of the dryer where the pedestal was attached to dryer. After paying the price we paid for products, expected more.

The dryer drum is supported by a set of suspension rollers. At times, there may be a thumping or rolling sound when the dryer starts. This may happen if the dryer has not been in use for a period of time or after a heavy load has remained in the dryer drum for an extended period, creating a temporary flat spot on the roller. Didn't even last 2 years!

solid dryer

Geek Squad damaged our existing washing machine. Would not buy another appliance from best buy. It took 4 days to get a call back from a supervisor. Customer service refused to transfer me to anyone in management because "they work from home and cant reach their manager"

Lots of options on the dryer

It was badly dented and metal separated on the right hand corner. The control board also had a long crack it in. A second dryer was delivered, the initial test ran and 1next dryer load. It sounded like it was tumbling metal. After that the loads seem to try without the noise.

Buyer beware

Not worth the money! Costs more in electricity

Electrolux rep said that’s the way they are designed with a super sensitive sensor. They only way to dry clothes is timed dry which it high heat only! Returning it but it’s taking until MARCH TO GET A NEW BRAND!

Worst dryer ever!

Don't waste your money

The dryer was level. The squeaking/vibrating was out of hand and no way ordinary for something that cost this much. Do not recommend.

Love the steam function A++

The steam function was my splurge option and so glad I did! I have 2 teens who do their own laundry. They always forget their clothes in the dryer, and having a steam function for them is so necessary!

Despite claiming to have large capacity it can barely dry half a load of laundry. I've had 6 service visits in the first year and no one has fixed the issue. I've done every recommendation and it's still not working properly. I'm now told to try the same prior recommendations that didn't work, all so they can continue to avoid replacing the unit. I've spent hours of my day, multiple days in the past few weeks, with service visits that don't fix the issue. Save your time and get a different dryer.

Repeated failures in three years!

We fully acknowledge that the warranty has expired, but would have expected that an $1100 dryer would not fail repeatedly in such a short stint. Electrolux was willing to give us 20% off the failed control board (a savings of $30), but we are still without a dryer for 7-10 days and out $474 for appliance repair. When it worked, it was great but the quality of parts makes it a hassle and not a good value. We would not recommend this dryer and were disappointed in Electrolux for not sticking by their product.

Loud clanking sound

Called Best Buy, they passed me to Electrolux. They sent 3 repairman out, each one replaced everything but the drum! Still making horrible clanking sound. Was told that just the way it sounds. Trust me, you don't want this clanking in your house! The washer is also very loud. The experience with Best Buy was even worse! Even though I was in the repair cycle for about 2months, they told me that since I was outside the return window by 30 days, there was nothing they could do. Policy is policy. Dont buy this W/D set and don't buy appliances from Best Buy
