It takes forever to charge and last only about 30min of use. Does not have enough suction power and when you turn it off it spits some of the trash back out. DO NOT BUY!

Have used this for 5 weeks mostly for quick clean ups in an enclosed patio room that gets lots of bugs as well as outdoor dirt and mulch. Its light weight and swivel head makes it easy to get around and under furniture. The removeable hand-held vac is a bonus complete with attachments carried onboard. I haven't had a problem with charging, have not used up the charge in one use. This is my first stick vac, and I really enjoy the ease and convenience for quick work on hard surfaces and low-nap rugs.

It arrived with a tiny charge (4 minutes worth). It will not charge. I kept trying/checking everything I could think of. Hard to read instructions. Finally called the customer service number. She told me the battery was not charging and they would send me another one. The battery is the hand held unit. But it is backordered. Should arrive in 8 more days! What a major disappointment!

i got this for my new place. The battery doesn't last that long.

The model # EL2081A Electrolux Ergorapido 2-1 cordless vac was a great buy for me. I had owned and used another model for 3 or 4 years. I loved it but over time the battery had lost so much of its power that if run today it would run for less than a minute, Whereas my new red vac with a 14.4 v Lithium ion battery will run for nearly 30 minutes ! My DH was ecstatic when he discovered that he could vacuum our entire upper floor and still have battery charge leftover to clean much of our lower floor. I also like that my new vac has headlights so that I can see dust bunnies that I might have missed using even a pricey Dyson cordless. I love that with this model I can stand it up on its own. It also has great maneuverability around corners and furniture with its 180 swivel head. This model also has a patented self-cleaning brush-roll to aid in removing tangled hair from the brush-roll with the touch of a button. My hair is almost to my waist , so this is a great feature. Being able to remove and use the handheld unit at any moment is a great addition too. It is bagless and is only weighs about 5.5Lbs so carrying it around the house is easy. I am so happy with my new Electrolux Ergorapido vac model EL2081A that I plan to by a second one to keep on my lower floor so that I will be able to grab one quickly as needed.

It's lightweight and portable but the suction power and battery life is very poor.

This is one of the best little vacuums I have ever bought. It picks up so much dog hair I didn't even know I had I'm almost embarrassed. I use it on my hardwood floors as well as low-pile carpet. It's super easy to maneuver, light, easy to empty, has great suction and also has a detachable dust buster. I had no idea these little stick vacs were so good. It's a great buy.

I was so excited to get this, and at the 120 price tag you would expect it to be great! It never even worked. I charged overnight and the light came on, but I could NEVER get it to make a sound! Very dissapointed! Traded it for a bissell that works like a charm!

It stopped working the day after. I charged it over night. It started and then would stop. It does not pick up garbage.

The old Ergorapido (something like the EL1014A) had a much better design. First, it came with a *stand*. This new one stands up by itself (the old one didn't). You'd think standing by itself is a benefit, and it is, but the stand was much more stable and, more importantly, served as a permanent connection to the power. So to charge it, you could just slip it into the stand. Now, you have to bend down to the floor to pick up the cord and put it in the bottom part of the vacuum. While this isn't a big deal, I use it much less often because of that small friction. The idea is for this to be quick and easy and that's a major detriment. The stand served one other important purpose. It stored the attachment pieces. The attachments weren't that necessary with the old vacuum because the snout of the hand held portion protruded in the right way so it fit into crevices better (seams of chairs, corners of stairs). The new design of the hand-held-- a big step back-- removes the protrusion and reorients the snout so that it is too snub to fit anywhere. It now must be used with the attachment. However, the attachment can't be stored in the stand, because there isn't one, so they now have a little hook on the vacuum itself. But it's not that secure and so it's often falling off. We lost it within the first week or so and now we basically can't use it as a hand held. So without being useful as a hand held and with having to bend down to unplug it and plug it back in all the time, it's inconvenient enough that it just sits in the corner glowing every so often. Big disappointment. The old vacuum was great in every way except over time the NiMH rechargeable batteries died. The new lithium ion batteries seemed like a great upgrade-- providing more power, lasting longer, and having a longer overall life. (The constant trickle charging didn't do the NiMH batteries any favors.) So perhaps the lithium ion batteries are a great new feature, but we use the vacuum so infrequently now that it doesn't really matter. One final annoyance is that they plastered sales stickers all over it lauding its features. They aren't the high quality stickers which come right off. Nope, they disintegrated as I removed them, so now there's a bunch of white sticker backing all over the thing. I am so upset with this purchase I would gladly return this vacuum for half of the original price. They ruined a great product.

We purchased this stick vacuum a week ago to use in our RV. Because we are home at the moment I've been using it around the house and am totally impressed. It is great for small area rugs and I was amazed how well it reaches under our bed and into tight corners. I've managed to use it every day. I love the power it has which is actually why we bought it - others we've had in the past had no power for even the smallest jobs. Emptying it is a little more difficult than I'd thought and it gets easier the more I do it.

For me I was looking for something I can use in the car and on wood floors downstairs. This isn't going to suck up my dogs fur that's embedded on car seats but it does pick up dust and debris. On my new area rug it has picked up sooo much dog hair I was embarrassed. This is working great on our wood laminate flooring which is dark and usually needs 2 sweepings and dry swiffer. The sound is not as loud which is great but the dog is terrified.

So surprised by the power the way it turns. Glad I gave myself this gift.

I have owned 2 of these units now, thinking my 1st one was maybe a dud. They both worked for the first 6 months. After that the batteries died quickly even tho I kept the units plugged in. Also they stopped sucking up even the tiniest of particles off the floor. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
