We were searching for a new vacuum and read lots of reviews and this particular one had some excellent reviews. Looked at Dyson, but they are too expensive and looked at Shark and they seemed okay. What caught me and my wife's eyes was the cutter feature on the roller. My wife has long hair and with our previous vacuum would need to spend hours cutting it and removing. This feature was a big selling point. Our previous vacuum had issues with all the dog hair and carpet shedding and it wouldn't catch everything. This is a very strong vacuum for it's size. Also found it very easy to clean out compared to our old vacuum and other ones on the market. Highly recommend this device.

All in all I pat myself on the back for selecting this particular model. Great suction, its nice to be able to turn off roller and it really contains what you are vacuuming. The auto hair and dander removal from roller is great and saves time. I don't have pets at home but the hair alone from my daughter and wife this vacuum picks up is amazing. Not a Dyson but works just as well and at a more affordable price.

Once I realised that I had to change from floor to carpet, the suction was much better. The suction at edges, leaves something to be desired, as my (VERY MUCH) older grandmother's electrolux is quite capable doing that. Emptying the canister, is a little more involved than should be. I think they should re-think that. SIMPLE, is better.

Unbelievable vacuum. Light and easy to maneuver and already has outperformed the Dyson which cost more than twice the price and broke in less than 90 days. Hard to assess how this would work for all since all we have is a 2400 square foot carpet to carpet home with 5 kids and 3 dogs. This vacuum SUCKS, in a GOOD way!!!

Seems to be good technology for a basic upper model vacuum. The lowest setting can be tough to push on low pile carpets. The button for brush v. Bare floor often gets de-pressed and have to push it in again. These are minor issues. Cleans well, and I am a clean freak!

I knew I was going to be happy with this vacuum when I read reviews about the ease of use with the Brush Roll feature. As someone with long hair, this vacuum is an absolute must-have! Very easy to clean and picks up EVERYTHING! The sealed HEPA filter is also a huge plus. Highly recommended.

I bought this vacuum because I was sick an tired of cutting the hair (I have hair down to my lower back) out of the brushroll every single time I vacuumed. The brush roll feature works like a charm. It is also easy to carry up and down the stairs (I have a two story house with a finished basement), very light weight. It's only down fall is the smaller canister.

I was looking for a good vacuum but did not want to pay $400 or more for one. Had a sale price of less than $200 ($100 off regular price). It does a great job on carpet or tile, easy to switch when going from carpet to tile too. Also easy to empty and clean. Great vacuum!

Great buy! Sucks up everything and I know the hepa filter is working, I can smell it in the air. Coundn't deceide between this and a Dyson, but when I saw Electrolux build quailty, I had to go with the Electrolux for half the price of a Dyson. Works just as well.

Great product for price and better than a Dyson. Picks up pet hair, extra long hose, lightweight and easy to store. Best Buy had great price and warranty is good as well.

We love this vacuum, at first we wanted to purchase to Dyson for its known name brand but it's $100 more so we tried this one first and we are very happy with it so we're keeping it :) I'm sure Dyson is as good or probably better, but we went for this one to save some $$$.

It was the Deal of the Day after our vacuum died, so it made sense to get it. I'm glad I did. It picks up so much hair and dirt that my other vacuum clearly missed. I'm grateful to have this vacuum, and so is my wife.

I am very thrilled with this vacuum. I have had many but this one is very quiet easy to push and has strong suction.

This vac is far superior to the expensive Dyson brand.

Our previous vacuum was a Dyson Animal the Electrolux is better built has more suction and a better brush head at a much lower cost. A great vacuum and great value.

We purchased this vacuum after doing research online regarding the best vacuums for people with allergies. We were debating on whether to buy a Dyson or to explore other brands. Reviews we found ranked this one higher than the Dyson at about 50% of the cost, so we went to Best Buy to check it out. The vacuum is cool to look at, and is more narrow than I thought it would be. It maneuvers well, and though somewhat heavy, it is not unmanageable at all. But beyond that, this vacuum got more out of my carpet than I ever thought was there in the first place. I was appalled, but also pleased, at how much was in the canister after one trip through the living room! Hands down, this is the best vacuum I've ever used. Also, one cool feature is the self-cleaning brush. You hold a button and it slices hair off of the brush and sucks it into the canister for you. No more pulling or cutting with scissors! Can't recommend this vacuum enough.

First use around the entire house filled canister and the house had been vacuumed on a weekly basis prior to purchase. Light weight (for me), easy to empty canister, long power cord, and powerful suction. I am a satisfied owner.

I bought this vacuum to replace my worn out one. It is overall a very good vacuum. With the adjustable options, it makes sweeping on any type of carpet, very easy!

My wife and I have used it for about 2 months. It is amazing the dirt and hair it sucks from our flooring. We are very satisfied with this purchase.
