Compared to the many cordless floor vacuums on the market I have to say this is my favorite. I have tried multiple ones including (dyson animal, hoover linx, dirt devil lift away and others) and found this to be the best for my needs. I have all tile and wood floors in my apartment and it is super handy to grab it and do a quick daily vacuum vs. sweeping. THINGS I LOVE: The battery life has been great. The suction is strong enough to suck up dirt against the wall. The size of the head works great for me to get around tight spaces in the bathroom. The head swivels and the lights on the front are seriously my favorite thing about this vs. other comparable products. As far as I have seen no other product has lights on the front. I literally turn the lights off and vacuum in the dark because it makes seeing all the dirt and hair on the floors almost scary. Stuff you cant see with the room lights on. It has the brush roll cleaning feature which is great but it is easy to take the roll off to clean as well. It will stand on its own unlike other electrolux ergorapido products. It has 3 speeds. it is lightweight and it moves easily across the floor. I don't have rugs so I can't say how well it does but would guess that it would work well on flat and low cut rugs or carpeting. Nothing too plush. CONS :As much as I love this vacuum I do think its too expensive. It costs just as much as a decent regular household vacuum. Im debating whether to return it and get the lower 18v ergorapido which has all the same features just less suction and less battery life but is $100 cheaper. The only thing I wish this had would be a height adjustment . While the suction is good for grabbing things unfortunately the height sometimes does not allow for it to get sucked up.

I purchased this unit to use predominately on hard wood surfaces. The shopping experience for this item was full of misinformation. Electrolux advised me that this unit did contain both a crevice cleaner and other attachments. The Best Buy store associate informed me that this item had a button that would adjust the head for optimal hard wood or carpet cleaning (this button is actually the power level button). The item assembles easily and rapidly. Thus far the average battery life is 30 minutes which is at the bottom end of the levels indicated by the marketing promises; yet still better than the realized results of most competitive products. Full recharge takes the 4hours as stated in the marketing material. This product has its good points and bad points. The positives: rubber wheels although small are nicer than the plastic wheels on most items (does not scratch floor), the headlamp is excellent (makes the dirt easy to find) , suction is good, noise is better than most, light weight and this unit is well designed (steers and stands well),and 2 year warranty. The negatives: power button can easily be activated unintentionally when doing stairs and the filter. At this price point the device should have a HEPA quality filter that does not need to be cleaned by hand between washings. Filth sticks to the filter and has to be peeled away by hand. If this item holds up well over 5 years it will be a good purchase at sale price of $199 or $149 at $300 stated MSRP I would have to pass. In reality it is premature to determine the value of this purchase; ask me again 2020.

Perfect vacuum for hard floors with area rugs!!

At last, I've found it. This is absolutely the perfect vacuum for homes with hard floors and area rugs. In the last 10 years, I have owned a Dyson, a Hoover Whole House, a Bissell, a Eureka Air, a Dirt Devil, and I bought and returned a Shark Navigator. None of them did a good job on our area rugs. The Hoover even destroyed two of them because it sucked the rug up and ripped out a chuck of the carpet fibers. I was stunned how well this stick vac cleaned our plush rugs. We have a 14 year old dog who is mostly blind and can't walk well on wood floors, so we have a lot of area rugs in different sizes and thickness. This little Electrolux did a brilliant job of cleaning all of them. I couldn't believe how much dirt and dog hair it picked up. It does a better job than any of the upright vacs I've used lately. If it does start to grab a bed skirt or something, it immediately shuts off so it doesn't damage anything. It's light, easy to empty, surprisingly powerful, and it stays charged for a long time. I've swept our whole 1600 square foot home twice with it and it still has 2/3 of a full charge. The only thing that's less than perfect about this vac is it's a little hard to steer on the hardwood floors. The wheels make it turn in odd ways, but it's a very minor annoyance. I haven't tried the built-in brush cleaner, but I'm sure it will be outstanding. I love this little vac!!!!

Very lightweight, great for hard floors and very short pile carpets. I would not recommend it for thick carpeting, or carpet that puts out a lot of lint threads like some cheaper carpets do. My only complaint is that the cup filters get the dust and cat hair around them very quickly and you have to stop and clean them off or the machine starts making a whistle-type noise, so you have to clean them fairly often while doing a large area (if you have furry animals or kids with lots of hair LOL) I think the Shark would be a better buy, honestly. but I do like it and will use it :)

The Ergorapido was already a great stick vac for hard floors with one BIG caveat. The battery life was terrible. I could barely get 10 minutes of run time and could not finish my small apartment without rushing big time. The UltraPower on the other hand has what the Ergorapido should have always had, a lithium ion battery that can handle the work. To make things even better, the battery is replaceable. The only drawback with the UltraPower is the lack of the hand vac option. I can live with that. Now I can actually do a good job vacuuming with tons of power and time!

I really like this vacuum. We have a built in vac system in the house but it is a pain to drag out the hose etc for one little mess. It works fine on hard floors and on carpets alike. The thread/hair cutter feature works really well to clean up the brush roller. The vac steers great with very little effort.

So, I have had several Eureka Ergorapidios over the last several years. These are great little cordless vacuums for quick daily cleaning. My only complaint is that the running time on a single charge is only about 15min. and I can only do about 3 rooms worth of vacuuming. I have a Dyson canister vac but it is very heavy and cumbersome to haul around and a pain to plug in and out. I still haul it out once a week just to do thorough cleaning My last ergorapido was the black one with 12v power. I had purchased this one from BB over 3 years ago. Loved it, but the switch went bad (after reading reviews, this seemed to be a common unfixable problem). So, shopping around I found this NEW Eureka Ultra Power Studio cordless vac with replaceable Lithium battery (if the battery went bad in the Ergorapdio you just had to throw the whole vac away) and run time of 1/2hr. After looking at reviews and comparing against other cordless stick vacs in this class and price range (there are really only two to speak of, Dyson & Hoover. These 2 have much lower run times). I decided to purchase this one as the run time was rated longest. Got it fast, assembly was quick and easy (didn't even read directions, of course, not the first stick vac I have assembled. Put on charge and WOW! I can only say that my first vacuuming was astonishing! I was able to vacuum my WHOLE house, 2000+ sq. feet, and I still had half a charge! I can actually vacuum my house TWICE if I need to! I was speechless! I emptied the cup and it was FULL ( just be sure to empty the cup after every use and rinse the filter at least once a week#. I must say I have 2 black kitties and a white tile floor throughout most of my house with laminated wood in the bedrooms and office. I also have several area rugs, two low pile bathrooms and one high pile plush. It even vacuums this rug with no problems whatsoever. This vac picked up everything. The only thing it had just the tiniest bit of trouble picking up was the cat litter. A few pieces shot straight thru but with a couple resweeps it picked up everything. I am super impressed with the ease with which this cordless vac maneuvers. Not too heavy, I can easily pick it up with just one hand. The head swivels easily and glides over most surfaces with ease, even the plush carpet. The adjustable speed feature is really good. I have been using the medium speed for most rooms and the high speed only for the plush area rug. Love that it can stand by itself. The light bar in front does help to illuminate dust bunnies hiding in corners. I waited till after two weeks of use to post this review. The only complaint I had was that I did go out and buy some of that self stick felt backing and applied it around the perimeter of the vacuum head to eliminate scratching of my baseboards and furniture legs. I think for this price it should come with a little "bumper" around the perimeter of the head. However, easy fix. I am still IN LOVE with this little cordless stick vacuum and highly recommend it. Despite the obscenely high price # I did purchase it on sale which helped just no getting around it for a decent cordless vacuum) . I think you will be very pleased and I highly recommend. If it lasts as long as my last ergorapidio then it will be well worth the cost. I did purchase a BB 4 yr warranty in case something should go wrong. For just $39 it seemed a good insurance policy given the high cost investment of this little vacuum.

Had to take it back to the store and get a credit. I've had three of these now. The first one lasted one year, the second one, one week and I'm now on my third. IF this one dies before a year is up I'm gonna scream.

Sand and dog hair have been a big problem in our house until my husband purchased this cordless vacuum. The power is surprising and the battery life more than adequate. My house is clean with minimal effort. I do use it at least every other day, if not daily because quick pick ups are so effortless. Truthfully, I have not taken my beautiful Miele canister out in weeks! The UltraPower Studio from Electolux has made my life easier. Thanks, Hubby!

Purchased for $299 in 2014. Works great on tile floors & carpeted areas. Holds a charge at least 30min. Charges in 4hrs. It has just stopped working-no apparent reason-seems fully charged. I called the svc# & I can purchase a new battery for $195.00. (prev. reviewer claimed $300?) Also gave me the address of the nearest svc provider so I can test it before purchasing new battery. As I had Geek Sqd warranty, think I'll just swap it out for new one.

We have been very pleased with how well this product works. We have a large amount of hardwood in our home and this has made life so much easier. It does a great job picking up dust, dirt and pet hair, both on our hardwood floors and area rugs. I was a bit skeptical about how well the vacuum would work but it did not disappoint. The swivel head works great. It is extremely lightweight and compact. The battery life is great and we have not had a problem with the vacuum losing power before our task is completed. The only item which might make it more versatile would be to have a small hose/attachment which would make cleaning stairs easier and quicker. Overall, very nice product.

I have mostly hard surface floors two pets and 7 people in my house so I have to vacuum on a daily basis. This vacuum is awesome. I even sweep the two carpet areas in my house and it does great on those as well. I use to use the swifter vacuum which I loved but it didn't pick up bigger pieces of crumbs and dirt and you can't use it on carpet and i had to empty it constantly which is why we decided to go with this. I can now vacuum 2 almost 3 rooms before i have to empty it which is the easiest way ever to empty and clean a filter. This thing holds a lot of dirt for its size. You will be surprised as to how much you get every time (remember i have a big messy family and my rooms are fairly big)Also charging is a breeze just set it right on the dock and you good to go no plugging and unplugging just grab and go or set and go. Although this does not clean the best along walls and doesn't fit under a lot of furniture it is still worth getting

After using one and a half year, it was not charged any more, when I called customer service, they said that battery pack is $399. that was most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. the reason why i bought this for over $300 is that I can replace battery pack. but actually you CAN NOT do that.
