Elgato made a great entry level product for anyone needing a webcam. I say "entry level" because it's not going to give you the exceptional quality of a high-quality camera. It runs at 1080p 60FPS with uncompressed video. The picture is great in that regard. However, I'd recommend VERY good lighting. This camera struggles with maintaining a good white balance, and many of the adjustable settings are very touchy. It takes some time to find a great balance of these settings. Watch a few videos, and get a better understanding of the Elgato software before making a final judgement. I'd recommend to those looking for a mid-tier quality camera for streaming or office meetings. I would not recommend to those looking for a very high quality picture.

I have had this camera for a while now I love it I am not doing anything that requires supper perfect quality. This camera dose good in low lit rooms to and you can adjust the settings to make sure everything looks good!

Setting it up was super easy and looks great! Definitely recommend to someone looking into either streaming or wanting a nice webcam with good quality!

Pretty good face cam for what you need it. I feel like there’s probably other better cheaper options out there, but it does work the software is OK so OK remember if you’re doing this for streaming remember to pick up a light as well lighting is also everything this thing can’t do all the work

First let me start by saying that I love elgato and there products. The quality of all of them are really great. Butttt with that being said I'm coming from a DSLR as my webcam I really can't expect this to be better but it does hold its own with very good 1080p quality IF you have great lighting. The small form factor and the ease of plug and play is a great addition. I would recommend this for those streamers that want to just start off and show face but definitely not for the professionals.

I have purchased (and own) several webcams and this by far is the highest quality of them all. From the first time I used it people kept saying how I looked so much better than ever, commenting on how I have a lot more color than before. So I did a comparison snapshot using my other camera and this one, and the difference jumps out at you and is so easy to see. It's like you are watching the movie, The Wizard of Oz at the beginning where everything is in black and white, then the tornado takes Dorothy away to Oz and when she lands the movie switches to technicolor. Its that big of a difference.

The camera is top-notch, looks excellent in team meeting, also use if for streaming, FHD is the best way to go, the other model that is the 4k is too much for stream or meetings, if you are in to blogs, yes, but for any other use this camera is perfect :D

Great quality. Software is good and allows fine manual and automatic control. Unit itself was much bigger than I expected though.

This facecam is perfect for streaming and affordable. This was my first elgato product, and between the ease to setup and intuitive software I am sold on the brand. 1080p is great for streaming as most streaming services don’t stream past that. This will be part of my setup for years to come.

I used to be one of those Mac guys who didn't care for 3rd party peripherals but companies like Elgato are changing the game. This is a well-designed camera with great features, offering a lot of control. With some basic lighting in place, this camera looks great and allows you the ability to tweak settings and make pics or video even better. Highly recommend!! Shortly after getting this I bought other Elgato products and like this, they do not disappoint. Great company.

BEST WEB CAM EVER! I honest to god thought all web cams were pure garbage and having a camera system is way too complicated, a bit difficult to setup, and very expensive for the best quality. When I saw the reviews for this web cam, I thought to myself " I had to have it" because the best feature of this camera was that it didn't have a microphone built in which meant I wouldn't worry about my PC sometimes auto switching to the webcam when I'm in a discord call when I get on.
