So far its been a great product use it for streaming and content creations. I came from using a 720p webcam and instantly noticed a huge difference also im on a oled monitor even though the camera says its only a 1080 my footage looks almost 4k which i love.!!!

El gato facecam is still a great options during 2024. High fidelity of image, when paired with ring light you get amazing results

BEST WEB CAM EVER! I honest to god thought all web cams were pure garbage and having a camera system is way too complicated, a bit difficult to setup, and very expensive for the best quality. When I saw the reviews for this web cam, I thought to myself " I had to have it" because the best feature of this camera was that it didn't have a microphone built in which meant I wouldn't worry about my PC sometimes auto switching to the webcam when I'm in a discord call when I get on.

Great web cam for conference calling or streaming. I picked up 3 of these to do a multi cam stream for Twitch, and it works awesome! If you try to use 3rd party cables for anything, be prepared because the cameras dont like too many 3rd party ones. So be prepared to go through a few of them before finding one they’ll work reliably with! *Recommend a 3.1 USB cable at the minimum. It’s all ive found to work so far*

I was looking for a new webcam that wouldn't break the bank. I have looked at multiple cameras and am glad I went with this one. The camera is very user friendly with the Elgato Cam software and even better with the Nvidia broadcast. So, if you're looking for a new camera, this is the one I would recommend.

I like it to be honest. The camera is good for being a webcam and it’s powerful to be able to control your facecam and how it looks and there are a good amount of options it gives you to look the best with the best background. It’s not the best camera. A dslr camera or a mirror less camera that are like $600 and above are way better but it’s good for a high quality camera and that if you can’t afford a really expensive camera. Overall it’s okay.

Not Bad. If you do not have an impressive monitor, you will not know the difference between the Logitech Brio, Logitech 922HD 1080p, or the Elgato FaceCam. But if you do have a high-quality monitor, you will definitely know the difference. The Elgato Face Cam stands out, the Brio in 2nd and the 922 far in the rear. Remember that Google Meet does not exceed 720 res.

Excellent video footage, clear as day, has wonderful video effects for background, and even at to keep your eye contact for you. Only thing is it has no microphone so pick up a wave microphone!

Easily the best webcam in its price range. Definitely an upgrade over my old Razer Kio. The only complaint I have is the mount provided doesnt hold onto monitors all that well, but its got a standard 1/4 camera mount hole on the bottom. Easy enough to rigidly fix it to something else.

This beats my older webcams (from a familiar brand name everyone would recognize) by miles. Even the software is easier and more fun to use. Colors are decent and highly adjustable, performance in mid to low light settings is amazing. Build quality can feel a little weak due to the light plastic, but I think it's fine overall.

Picture quality is outstanding. No tech issues, just plug into your usb spot and you are good to go. There is an app that will allow you to adjust crop and color settings. Only minor issue I came across is that it is supposed to let you save those settings and mine wont.

Seriously, I don't know where to start. The simplicity of setting it up, yet the tools it gives you access to when optimizing settings in the elgato software is SO nice to have, and isn't something seen on a webcam. Having it store your settings means you don't have to constantly redo it each time you boot up OBS Studio, etc. - remember to plug this into a proper USB 3.0 port as well!

Great after tuning in settings. Using right out of the box with all the auto adjust settings turned on was ok but still left the quality looking like a basic web cam. After going into the cam hub and turning those off then adjusting everything to my room lighting you end up with near dslr quality

This face cam is amazing! Great video quality feedback And all the settings and changes you can make in the el gato program/app on desktop really help smooth things out and the YouTube tutorial videos really helped. All in all this twitch streamer is very pleased!

Very good. It's hard for a webcam to produce a really clear image without breaking the bank. Dollar value on this one is worth it. Don't feel like I overpaid, happy with the results. But you have to adjust the lighting in the software in order to help clear the picture up a bit.

The Facecam performs great compared to other brands due its Software quality and the fact that you can change the actual settings like from an actual camera like for example the Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, and White Balance and save it directly too the camera so it keeps those settings
