Pretty much the easiest install on a PC possible. No cables, and once I started my computer it worked without having to download any additional software. Worked great with my Sony A6400 camera on OBS with nothing else required but a micro HDMI cable. A bit expensive but worth it

Super easy to install in the pc. Do have in mind though, you have to go online on the elgato website to download a driver for it to function properly on your PC. Otherwise you might have trouble capturing whatever game you're trying to play. Other than that it is fantastic. I'm a twitch streamer and I don't experience any lag or dropped frames.

I love the card. It was easy to install and works amazing. I kind of wish I could give it 4.5 stars though. There are times there is like a one second delay in audio. I know this because I'll play my console on the monitor it's plugged into but listen to the game through my PC. There are times the audio is delayed and there are times it's not. The delay is so minimal that is doesn't really affect the experience I'm having. Price was a tad steep but I had the best buy card so I got no interest in it.

I've been researching capture cards for months before deciding to go with the Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2. It was a toss-up between this and the Avermedia Live Gamer 4K. The main reason for choosing this was the price, which at the time was $220, $80 less than the AverMedia card.
As for using the card itself, it was a painless installation, and the fact that it uses a PCIe 2.0 interface meant that I could have it a the lowest PCIe slot on my motherboard. After installing the 4K Capture Utility, everything was smooth sailing.
Keep in mind that if you plan to use this with a PS4 you MUST disable HDCP in the system settings. Go to [Settings] > [System] and make sure that [Enable HDCP] is unchecked.
If you plan to use a PS3 you must use something like an HDMI Splitter that will allow you to bypass the HDCP that is always enabled on the PS3.
Bottom line: The Elgato 4K60 Pro MK.2 is a great capture card.

If you have a 1440p or 4K screen with a newer console or dual PC setup, dont even consider the Elgato HD. You will need this to passthrough to your monitor. This passes through my PS5 to my 1440p monitor (one of many that take the 4K signal and make it work) and it looks fantastic.
The audio processing time is slower on this than the HD, so be forewarned. This is not a huge issue for your viewers becuase you can adjust, but you WILL notice it. I have a high end PC with an x570 board and 3700x. Elgato processes video before sound. There is no way to fix it until newer equipment comes out. I wound up stripping the audio with an HDMI audio stripper and running to the back of a Focusrite 2Pre. I have no delay with my sound. Expensive solution but worth it in the long run, especially if you use an XLR Mic.

Works as expected. Took sometime to figure out the settings/software and unfortunately I bought this because I wanted to stream my gameplay on to discord, but I didnt know that you can, but there would not be any sound. Something about discord or the elgato not allowing it.
If you're using this to stream on to twitch or whatever platform it works perfectly

If you are looking for a capture card that is easy to use and just as easy to set up grab this capture card for your PC. Literally just plug and play. If you are having issues with it make sure you download the EL GATO software for it. If you are still having issues with your set up make sure you have the correct HDMI cords for your correct resolution to your monitor to avoid tearing. I highly recommend pairing this though with a 4K monitor and 4K capable HDMI cords.

It's as simple as plug-and-play. I can now capture content in 4K with HDR enabled. No noticeable latency issues. No compatibility issues. Works with Xbox Series X perfectly.
Bonus: 4K Capture Software allows you to capture what you missed with a DVR feature!

Theres a little bit of screen tearing. We had to double check the port we put it in to make sure it was the best port for it. I use it to play my switch on my computer monitor and have the sound come through for it on my computer speakers. I used it for streaming a couple times and it worked well. I think the price is high but they are the top brand in capture cards right now so you get what you pay for.

Makes streaming easy and a joy to look at. It is definitely overkill as most streaming sites only upload to 1080p, but makes your capture look better on your end so you can get the full experience for yourself. Overkill, but worth it.

Replaced an old ez cap capture card I had that was giving me issue after issue. This card truly is worth the hype, while it is expensive it just simply works and works greats. Handles HDR to SDR directly on the card, supports many different formats and refresh rates. Elgato never fails to deliver

This product works as you need, if you’re looking for a no hassle direct plus in to your PCIE slot and seamless streaming through your computer this is what you want. The only limitation is the distance of your pc and the device you want to stream ie., consoles might need to be close together together depending on the length of your hdmis and the screen you’re streaming to. I would say that if they had a built in switcher, so multiple input and one output that would be nice so you can just keep certain devices connected without having to plug in and out depending on the device you want to stream but that’s just nitpicking. Honestly great device, easy setup and no latency is all you can ask!

Simple to use, makes streaming on my PS4 and Nintendo Switch using Streamlabs absolutely easy. There has been no visible lag thus far, and the clarity is absolutely amazing.
