Easy to use, though wish it had better audio option's for console games. This is a lot. Better than the original H60 which was before the S series. The 3.0 usb is noticeable, faster speeds and latency is barely notice compare to the original H60 series. Small, compact dongle, it's not bad. I recommend it for consoles. As for pc to pc, it is decent but I would recommend PCie build for that.

elgato HD60S - This capture card is about as easy as it gets to use. Literally plug and play. Perfect for stream capturing mobile devices, gaming consoles, or anything that puts out hdmi. Requires USB 3.0 to work, works with software like OBS/XSplit. It offers real time audio output, which I needed for streaming from my iPhone X (done with an lightning to hdmi adapter). I also have the HD60 PRO internal capture card, for my specific use of mobile streaming, it did not offer real time audio, the 60S does.

This capture card is super easy to set up and does exactly what you need! At tops, there's like a 7-9 frame delay, it's almost impossible to notice unless your playing something quick and competitive. Great for streaming and capturing game video. Quality is perfect.

I bought this capture device in order to help stream quality audio/video signals for our Sunday services. Everything plugged together easily and the video quality was excellent. However, the only instructions for its use were to be found online, and it took a few tries to find the correct app which, when found, did not include Zoom as an option (like it does many other streaming apps. It took several Sundays to make everything work properly (I recommend testing before going live the first time!), but once we got there, it was great.

I have a MacBook Pro 2017. This capture device initially worked almost flawlessly after installing OBS Link and the Game Capture software from Elgato. I was able to stream my Nintendo Switch gameplay and sound a few times before OBS Link started having issues. Seemingly randomly, the sound will start stuttering and then cut out and after some time start again, then cut back out. It also sometimes struggles to find the capture card or will randomly quit while OBS is open. This would probably work fine if you don't mind streaming from Elgato's Game Capture software, however this would mean I could not use any of my overlays or would have to use window capture (not ideal especially from a performance and quality perspective). The other alternative is streaming without game sound and hoping the video doesn't drop randomly. This is actually a very common issue I found while troubleshooting, and it seems Elgato is in no rush to address it. Such a shame, as when it did work it worked very well, didn't overheat, and had almost no lag. The set up was really easy, but troubleshooting is not.
It's recommended to get the HD60 S+ if you want an Elgato product that is actually compatible with Mac and OBS. AverMedia also has cards that are compatible with Mac and OBS.

Honestly if you’re looking for the best gaming capture card on the market it would be this one. I stream on twitch actively with no problem at all and it’s worth the price for its great content that it produces.

I bought this card and at first I wasn’t sure if my computer was going to be able to handle it. My computer has a ryzen 3 but it is powerful enough to run this on the lower settings the software is amazing in the videos look great you really do you notice a difference from 1080p 60 FPS from 720p 30fps. I’ve been wanting an Elgato for the longest time and I’m so glad I made the purchase.

I've been looking for a capture device that would allow me to use its preview window as an actual screen to play off of with little to no lag. Effectively I could plug this into my MS Surface and it would become a gorgeous 1080p portable screen for whatever system I wanted to plug an HDMI into. I'm happy to report that while there might be 1 frame or so of lag, games are completely playable in the preview window and no worse than if your TV didn't have a game mode. You can make the preview window in the game capture software full screen or use it windows while you multitask doing other things. As for capture and stream performance, it works like a charm and I've not run into a single issue. I can't recommend this capture kit enough. Elgato has made an amazing tool.

I have really enjoyed this capture card. it has been really easy to hook up to my device the Elgato’s included software on their website is awesome. I would have liked to see at least one more HDMI cord in the box to ensure that your device gets hooked up to a display but other than that great! Really great too if you like to be in the same branded item sphere

I've had my eye on this capture card for a long while now, and when I finally got my hands on it I was not disappointed. It records well, I was able to record my Nintendo Switch at 1080p 60fps. The video may stutter after long periods of recording, which can cause some audio syncing issues, which is the only thing really keeping it from 5 stars. But still, I can't recommend this card enough.

For those who don't like to screw around too much with capture card PC installation, as well as messing with video streaming software, this is the buy for you! Incredibly easy to setup! The playback slider that lets you choose resolution size for your viewers....awesome! Overall, everything you need is here in order to start streaming from the get-go (software is free on elgato website). This is an easy 5 star product!

I was looking for a capture so I could stream my nintendo switch gameplay and this gets the job done. Software is good but I use OBS so I didn't really mess with software. Easy to setup and is great of you would like to stream or capture console gaming. Keep an eye because sometines the price drops.

This has been working really well. Been recording gameplay videos for a couple weeks straight.
I don't like that you have to plug it into something to use your device though. Sometimes I don't have my laptop nearby the xbox. Also, the Elgato software doesn't work that well. Usually use OBS instead. The live capture feature is cool, but doesn't work well, at least when I tried.
Still a very slight delay from your gameplay to the computer. Even with the USB 3.0

Great little device to record or stream whatever is on the other end as long as it has an hdmi out, the options are endless, so far I captured game video, used a gopro as a webcam, telescope camera to stream ( with an adapter ) and a hdmi wireless transmitter to relocate any device in a 50ft range and record the results.
