I would recommend this because the whole set up process is easy. The hard part is finding the right software that fits your computer and the game capture. The video is amazing and it's a simple click start end and has fancy adds-ons you can use free of course.

Easy to use, quick to set up. Wanted to be easily able to capture footage for YouTube and stream when/if I wanted to and this allows we to do so with using my current pc.

I used this to stream my Nintendo Switch and it worked flawlessly! I also got it on sale for $145 which is a steal compared to $180 retail. Worked well for my Twitch stream.

I got this elgato to capture games for youtube, not for streaming. As a game capturing device it works perfectly. Games come out looking crystal clear, 1080p and 60fps. It's great.

I like using this a lot. It’s easy to use, and gives off pretty good quality for its price. I gave it 5 stars because it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

The software is intuitive, the device is simple enough to use, however i couldnt record both the audio and listen through my astro headset. This is more the fault of the PS4 rather then the device, you can get around this but will need additional devices.

Got it on sale, set up was very simple and it’s even easier to switch between consoles. The video and audio quality are also very good.

Great product. I use it with OBS on my windows laptop to connect my ipad. Reliable once you get OBS to recognize it, which takes a bit of trial and error.

We purchased this to be able to record and stream Nintendo Switch Games. Works really well. Simply interface to set and use. Stream to YouTube or Twitch. Very easy to set up and use.

Works great for broadcasting my games on Twitch! I use this for my switch console and it works just great with the elgato game capture program.

BEFORE YOU BUY! First, make sure you have all 3.0 USB on your connections and on your computer. If you don't have that, you gonna run into the same issue that everyone else is running into, no signal. You will get frustrated and in the end it's a simple fix. Second, if you're a streamer, please do no set the recording to be recording at all times, that will make your stream lag. specially if you have a slow connection. Frames will be lost and you will become upset. Third and lastly, if you just download the program on the website, make sure that you are downloading the right version. DO NOT download the windows 10 version if you have windows 7, it will not work. Same for all the mac users, please do your research before buying something like this. It is not cheap just to be throwing money at things just to keep them collecting dust. I hope this helps someone out there. I got one and I enjoy the products that they sell. I never had any issues and everything runs just fine. Rule of thumb: If you can't figure out what's wrong with it, search on the internet, someone most likely is running into the same problem as you are. Google is your best friend people! USE IT!

If you have a game console, a laptop and the internet, you can stream. Easy set up and great quality for the price. The user interface is easy to navigate allowing you to customize uploading data to the internet speed.

Great capture card - I got it to stream Switch games from my Macbook Pro. Fair warning - This will work right out of the box with a mac (provided you're running a compatible model) - but it is very limited compared to what you can do on Windows. I managed to get it running using Windows 10 partitioned on my computer - which allows you to do much more than the somewhat limited capture software that it comes with. It also only can be used with consoles that use HDMI. Anything older that uses component cables is not compatible.

This is the best way I’ve found to record my gameplay with any FPS drops! Setup is super easy and The software is beautiful and works perfectly, 10/10 would recommend!

The set up is easy, the capture card itself is high quality and I'm beyond happy with the results. It's made streaming on Twitch much easier than in the past with gorgeous results.
