This is a game capture device that in reality is fairly simple to use. It seems to have a few bugs that make it operate funny at times, and I'm not smart enough to really figure it out. It can record audio/video pretty easily, though getting a proper balance is difficult. Exporting from the software is super simple. I still don't really know how to get this to work in concert with adobe suite software to really make my audio sound good, since it's just not great with this alone. But that's my own shortcoming since I don't know how to use Adobe's stuff. All in all, it does what it's supposed to do, but it's not quite perfect.

My brother got this and he set it up real quick and easy! Worked with my HP laptop as well. Would recommend for streaming!

I really like the Elgato Capture. It's cool to be able to record your gameplay and watch it later. Works great for streaming also.

I was looking for a capture card to stream on Streamlabs and broadcast it to twitch and this was the easiest set up I’ve ever experienced! I tried a couple cheap capture cards on Amazon but had a huge headache setting them up and couldn’t hear the game audio. The ElGato on the other hand, works perfect! Comes with an HDMI post and a USB 3.0 cable and the audio of the game come through flawlessly! Remember to download the video capture card driver for El Gato on your pc

Bought this capture card to start capturing game footage and for streams on twitch. It's easy to setup and use.

I'm using this on a Surface Pro 6 and it worked right out the box. Whether I'm plugging it right into the device of if I am plugging it in through and USB adapter. Some set up of sound can be a little confusing but Elgato's software will set up your recording for the best possible with the device and system you are using. I'm excited to finally be able to record gameplay footage and excited to figure out how to hook it up with OBS and maybe get a layout going for recordings.

Works great with Game Capture HD, it's proprietary software. But with OBS/Studio I get frame drops. Still seeking a reason for this as OBS/Studio gives you way more options compared to Game Capture HD. The card also tends to have issues from time to time actually pulling up the source, resulting in something as little as an unplug to something more substantial as a reboot of the system. I will note I am capturing from a PS3 which uses HDCP and in order to do so I have employed an hdmi splitter. This could be more the issue with capturing the source as opposed to the card it's self, but I feel it is something that should be noted to those looking to do the same thing.

So far so good still trying to figure more about it but its a good quality and also no delay was worry about that!

Alright so this is an amazing capture card. I think everybody would agree! I do wish there was an option for display port rather than using just hdmi. I would get the one that connects straight to my motherboard, but my graphics card is too large. The problem may be just that in my case. But I would like to see more options. Regardless this is a very good product that has no defects, performed as it should and I still have no complaints about the operation of the product!

This elgato hd60s is a well made game capture device. I use it for capturing my gameplay from my PS4 to my pc so that I am able to stream my gameplay. Streamlabs obs sometimes has an issue recognizing the capture card but there is a built in feature with overlays on the hd60s so you can directly stream without needing streamlabs. The size of the unit is comparable to a cell phone and it has a hdmi input and output, along with a jack to run a usb to the computer. All necessary cords came with the game capture card

Really easy to just kind of plug and play to use. Really helps with a streaming setup for sure.
