Got this to record old video from a camcorder with an av to hdmi signal adapter and do some streaming. Super easy to set up and the video quality is good. Virtually no lag with the passthrough as well.

The ease of use and decent quality even over usb 3.0 makes this the best portable capture card. I really only use it on the go, though.

I use this for streaming games I usually couldnt before. It is so convenient using this elgato for my pc and I wish I would have got it sooner!

I use it with OBS and it has been easy to use from the start. The capture looks great with my Switch and when I attached a digital camera to it as well.

Excellent way to capture scrrrn shoots, setting up ghe Elgato was very simple and it works well. The quality is beyond excellent. The Elgato is perfect to capture moves and record!

Extremely simple to use, using this for footage with Nintendo switch for a podcast with a friend and its quality has been fantastic. There's a reason this capture card is the go to.

Painless to set up and little to no noticeable delay while streaming or recording it’s basically mirroring your gameplay in close to real time along with running 1080p 60 fps. Worth it.

Great Capture Card. I use it when live streaming every night. Elgato has some really great products. easy setup and easy to use. HD or even 4k resolution.

The actual device is fairly simple to setup. However, for me the software was really difficult to navigate and use for a bit and I ended up using a different software

Excellent quality, and very easy to set up with my Nintendo Switch. Worked fine with OBS and Twitch streaming. It included an HDMI cable which was nice.

I am not a fan of the price of this but it is needed if you want to do some high quality capturing for streaming.

Bought this becuase my razer was old and.not.compatible no.more for what i needed. Easy to use and install. Basically plug and play

Had been looking to purchase a capture card for the longest time now. This card was on sale during christmas week and could not let it pass up. The default program is nice, especially when partnered up with OBS. The card so far has been great and have no complaints. I play lots of fighting games that require precise timing and the pass through function works flawlessly. On that note if you were planning to use this card while playing straight from your PC unfortunately it is slightly unplayable as there is a delay, so make sure to have a TV or second monitor available close by.

Set up was a bit of a pain, but after watching a youtube video, it was easy. Works and communicates great with my xbox and pc, great from streaming

This is the best external capture card I've owned. Easy to use, compatible with everything, solid, light and fast. The only problem I have is it sometimes shows a green tint and I have to reset it. Other than that, great product!

We are using this device to turn our Sony a7riii into a webcam unit. The quality is wonderful and with no lag. Very happy with this option from Elgato.

Great capture card for those who want too play in 4K or 1440p while recording in 1080p, just wish you could play in 1440p at 120hz but the max is 60hz only small issue but allows me too still play in 4K or 1440p at 60hz

So easy to use. Picks up all my consoles (PS4, Xbox one, Switch, etc.) and the 4K capture software is intuitive. Love this product!

100% plug and play. Obs and streamlabs obs picked it up with no issues as video capture device . 0 lag . I can play watching in obs or on the tv
