I really can't complain much about this capture card. It's very easy to set up works really great with my Playstation 5. Inside the box, I did find myself a little disappointed. As on usual Elgato devices in the past, you'd be supplied an HDMI cord. But it seems they l that they decided to skimp it on that simple luxury that would've, for the most part given this a possible. Again. As it stands. There's only the sleek looking capture card and a USB-C to A cord ( roughly around 3 feet long. It is very nice it is threaded. This helps to prevent fraying and makes for a longer lasting cord. However, it's white and that's gonna start looking dingy really quickly. Setting up Playstation 5 was relatively simple, though,I believe it's easier to connect my XBOX SX. However my plan is to use or the Playstation 5 the majority of the time. The capture card, itself, has two HDMI ports to be able properly link your system of choice. (I am considering connecting my Switch OLED to just stream some older and more nostalgic games. It really shouldn't be difficult. But really. Outside of the lack of an HDMI and the USB being optic white. I believe to be a very well made and ready to use capture card. Elgato.. give us an HDMI cord in the future.

Pretty easy set up and was nice quality, simply plug in play for the most part

+ Easy installation (USB Versus Installing it in a PCI Slot.) + Easy to Understand Software. + Extremely Portable. +- Price is Slightly Higher than Past USB-Type Capture Cards but the Quality/Accessibility Alone is Worth the Higher price. (Especially when compared to PCI slot Capture cards) -Plugs in via USB so Audio/Video might lag a frame behind (Very Minor as a Quick Restart Fixes it)

I got this so I could record/stream my switch 2 gameplay and it works really well, it’s light weight easy to set up and especially good if I have to record or stream on a laptop on the go

I’m not that tech savvy, but I needed a capture card so I can live stream through my PS5. It was easy to use and worked like a charm. I highly recommend using the best HDMI cables for smoother streaming and less lagging .

This device is small but gets the job done and is very minimal for a desk set up. Exactly what I was looking for. Set up was very easy

This capture card is what started my console content journey, and it’s been fantastic. Setup was extremely simple — just plug in the HDMI cables, connect it to your computer, and you’re ready to start recording or streaming. The 4K60 passthrough is a huge plus because I can still play my games at full quality with no noticeable delay while the device captures at 1080p60. I love this capture card its perfect to stream to twitch it capable of 1080p which is all you really need. Plug n play setup via pc software. Price is good too! I own 3 elgato products now i love elgato!

I got my Game Capture Neo weeks ago and honestly it is not as easy to get off the ground as you think. It does capture in 1080p and allows you to control how and where to share my videos. Whereas the consoles only allow you to capture on the console and share through an app if it allows you to. For instance, my PS5 won’t allow me to stream when playing Minecraft. My friends have this odd pleasure of watching me get defeated on Minecraft by the Warden. I can never stream on my PS5 and have to call them via alternative video streaming ways. Now, they can watch and get theirs laughs. The quality of the Neo is alright, it feels cheaply made and as though one small drop on the floor that it will break. Quick note, it only comes with the Neo and you will not get the HDMI cables but you do get the usb-a to usb-c wire. Lastly, you’ll need the software for it to work. It does not automatically record with a button so be prepared to put in a little work. It is not plug and for that I could not give it a 5 star. Otherwise it gets the job done.

This streaming deck changed my life. This make it super simple and an easy setup to stream my switch games to my twitch and TikTok accounts.

Very happy with this device and its integration with Discord on Windows and Mac. 1080p stream but your 4K hdr/vrr output to TV still looks supreme. Recommend.

Easy to install. Works exactly as it should. We tried several cheaper versions and couldn't get them to work at all. Save yourself the headache.

If your thinking about getting one, you should. It is so easy to set up and rubs great with zero flaws and doesnt cost a lot
