Great bang for the buck! You probably don't need the full size Key Lights unless you're lighting an entire room/studio. For a desk size, corner of a room, the Air works great! With two of them you can keep things even or go for a "hair light".

The Elgato Key Air arrived today and I already installed it. It works great. I am so glad that I purchased it from Best Buy. Everyone else was $100 to $200 more / overpriced. Best Buy kept its price as advertised. Thank you for being honorable and still affordable. I will always be able to order from Best Buy in the future. Thanks

I purchased two of these for the price of one keylight pro. I run a dual pc stream setup, and these lights provide more than enough lighting. Downfall is they keep losing connection to wifi. Very irritating.

These are really cool light but you have to have 2.4 ghz Wi-Fi to use them. Most offices and phones are using 5.0 ghz so it you cant connect them. I had to connect to them with my phone. So check your internet wifi before you purchase.

The elgato light is great price could be better and love the part that all can be controlled on phone or wifi.

Was looking for lights to enhance image for video conferences and WFH applications. These were same price as so many of those little pocket RBG lights - they are much bigger, softer and more event light. I was a bit concerned about buying these vs the Elgato Key Light - as it is bigger and more powerful - thought these might not be enough. Turns out they are just fine. The size is perfect for me - I get the light I need and am only using them at 10-15 percent power. Easy to set up, the smart phone app and desktop app both work great to control them. Only design element I don't like is there are no switches on the light itself - all control, including on/off is done via wifi - so if you ever lose that.... Other than that - really like them. Well built, work as advertise, and more than powerful enough for video conferencing. +1 to Bestbuy for not inflating the price of these...I'm looking at you Adorama and you too Amazon....

High quality, easy setup. Heavy base makes it sturdy. Lighting levels are phenomenal.

Pros - Bright Highly Adjustable Functionality Initial Setup Cons - Constantly disconnects Price Point I really do love this device when it works. Sadly, it is rare that both my lights will turn on when I use my StreamDeck keys. At least one of the two requires me to flip the switch on the back to reset about fifty percent of the time. This is also the case just using Control Center (the application for the Key Lights). They just lose connection and can't be found without a reset. Shame, I have had similar software issues with other El Gato products as well.

These lights are fantastic and give you an amazing amount of light. I purchased a set for my stream set up and I absolutely love them. They paired easily with my Streamdeck XL and the amount of control you have is really nice. I have no real complaints with these lights. The one little thing that I personally did not like was that they have a weight base. I would have preferred the desk clamp like on the bigger Key Lights, but that's an easy fix. But that's me personally. Still these lights are 5 star worthy!

When It connects it's good, but good luck getting it to connect. I was unable to have it recognize on my PC after several attempts. Decided to download the app for it for the Iphone and was easier to setup and detect. Good thing it keeps the last setting you had it on as I just power off after use and then switch I back on when it's time to stream. It's a pretty good lightsource as there lots of gradients/hues you can adjust. Although keep in mind that you're overpaying for the convenience factor and helps a lot without all the extra fiddling once it works. I've had cheaper keylights such as a lamp that provide similar results.

This little light packs a serious punch, in a good way. The set up is unbelievably easy and straight forward. These things can get super bright, and it is great to be able to control them through an app on your phone or desktop. Or even better, an Elgato Stream Deck. I love being able to hit a button the desk, and this light turns on with my exact settings instantly. It gets the job done, and gets it done well. I wouldn't recommend cheaping out on lights too much. I know there are a few alternatives, but none of them are this easy out of the box. ( I might recommend buying two, depending on your lighting scenario.)

Very bright, nice adjustable stand, light weight. Drops connection to Wi-Fi often, having to be powered down and back on to reset and establish connection again. This is really annoying. Price is a bit high in my opinion. More like $100 would be fair i think. Power cord is way too short if you have a large desk, forcing you to put a power brick on or very near the top of desk. Would be well suited to smaller desk.

These are amazing. I have a webcam that outputs 1080p 30fps, and the difference between having these lights and not is GLARING. I look SO MUCH better on my twitch stream. My camera doesn’t have to work so hard to take in light in my stream setup because these light provide ample diffused light to make me look natural. There’s a nifty smartphone app where you can control the temp and brightness of the lights. Totally worth the money.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a light so I purchased a less expensive LED light but even though it had a diffusion panel, the light was still harder that I would have liked. It was also difficult to adjust to get the right look because I had to jump up and down to fiddle with the knobs and switches on the back and then sit down to see how it looks. Then I bought this Elgato Key Light Air and I must say that it is worth every penny. The light is very soft and minimizes shadows. The fact that it is WiFi enabled make it extremely easy to get the look you want while sitting in front of the camera. I liked it so much, that I bought a second one the very next day. I was afraid that the Key Light Air might not be bright enough and that I would have to get the larger and more expensive Key Light but the Air model is very bright and having two of them is plenty of light for a sitting situation in front of a computer. This is an awesome light that bathes you in a soft light that is very flattering. I recommend it highly.

I’ve ending buying three of these for my home office / studio to produce online videos and conduct Zoom sessions. I really love the the ability to control all three lights from my iPad, either independently, or together. I have one light on either side of my camera and one off to the side. The light is bright, but not harsh, as other lights are. My videos are well lit and natural. Great lights!!!

I bought this light not for gaming , but for my zoom calls . I got tired of having the ring lights that appear too bright and also show as a ring on my specs which is disturbing for others on the call. The software that is to be used to control the light did not work despite multiple attempts on both the iphone and android . The software does not work on 5GHz wifi so make sure you try on the 2.5Ghz one. I use the switch at the back of the light to control it for that reason. Overall

The light will get very bright, probably to bright to use on your desk without it being very low. The controls are all through the app or your computer after setup, which needs to be on a 2.4 ghz wifi. Once set up this pairs nicely with a streamdeck to easily control the light.

Wanted the regular Elgato lights, but its sold out, and i saw these, and bought 2. Easily Best purchase I made for my home studio/streaming set up, easy to set up and provides phenomenal brightness in 2 hues that can be adjusted very easily as well. Works with phone app and pc app, and integrates good with other Elgato products like the Stream Deck. A MUST FOR STREAMERS!!
