Spent a lot of time assembling this and the instructions were difficult (near impossible) to understand; the light didn't/doesn't work, obviously defective. Also, unit is supposed to be controlled by an app that you install which I find highly undesirable -- I didn't know about this feature before buying it despite reading the available information on the web site. I don't recommend this - I'll be returning it

I spent $280 for 2 of these. The lights are fantastic. I'm not sure they're worth $120 retail (plus shipping and California tax = $140 per lamp). The reason for 1 star....for that price, I should never have a single issue with them. The lights do not sync with the desktop app. Occassionally, they don't sync with desktop or iphone app. This is a problem. They can only be adjusted via an app. Elgato needs to fix this ASAP.

Great light when they word but they can be a monster if you have to reset your wireless connection.

I have not been able to get the control panel to connect to the device so I cannot adjust the light settings which was the whole point in purchasing this light. It will turn on, but it's too bright. I have tired installing the control panel app on my android phone and tablet, also my macbook and my pc and for some reason the application will not find the device to connect to wifi. I have tried to set this up for an hour, but if a light is this trying to activate, its a wash. I regret buy thing because its junk at this point.

Connected to my WIFI and PC like it says , Its complete GARBAGE everone on here it lights up but you cant adjust the brightness like it clains MORE JUNK made by ELGATO GO WITH RAZER at least their stuff works

It's a promising product, but the software controls were not yet written to be compliant with macOS Big Sur so I had to return the product. Once the company gets around to updating software, it might be worth another shot.

Doesn't connect to app so stuck on one light color and brightness.

Works great on wi-fi. Difficult to use in settings without internet connection.

Item came damage in a bubble bag. Best buy should learn how to ship these games

I bought this becuase if its connection to my stream deck but its 100% not worth the premium. Its super slow to respond to the software cobtrols (2-4 full seconds) and setting it up first is a nightmare. It has to have wifi and be connected and on the same network as the PC. Off site events are a no go. Its lighting is just as good as the cheapr kits that dont have software control. Save your money and skip these.

Definitely more compact and moveable that a heavy duty box light. The base still takes up a bit of room. Very customizable - hot/cool and brightness all adjustable.

Absolutely, amazing. It replaces all of my ring lights. I don’t even need any other lights when I use it on zoom calls. It is amazing especially if you have a small space.

I like how bright and adustable the light is. I got the stream deck to control the light. Before that i used the app and it was perfect for doing my video calls for work.

It's a really good light. The option to turn it on and off with the app on the phone or desktop is awesome. The setup was annoying but after you get through it, it is worth it.

Not worth the effort if you are creating a smart ecosystem. The app rarely connects to the lights. I have to reset and go through the process of setting up numerous times. It would be great if it integrated with Google/Alexa/Apple products. Not worth the investment.
