This is one powerful likely little light!! It's relatively easy to set up. The wifi connectivity or one of the best things about it; make sure to add the light to your wifi network first as an accessory before trying to add it on the app on your device and you will have no problems!! Once set up, you will love the compact footprint and the robust build quality.

I'm a huge fan of Elgato products' ease of use and integration in the windows. Setting up the product, connecting it via bluetooth, and adjusting the brightness are extremely simple. However, the convenience comes at a pretty steep price. I wouldn't consider what I paid a value. The plug on this device is also pretty large considering the voltage of the LED panel. Just something to consider.

The Key Light Air is a great diffused lighting option, although rather expensive. It has easy controls from computer or phone app. The one installation step to connect the light to the ball clamp and the post is a bit clumsy, but otherwise the setup was very easy. The Key Light Air come on a stand only. It would be good if they came with the option to mount it to the desk as well rather than having to spend more money for that option (the desk mount for this is a recent addition too and supports other devices). This would be relatively easy to add a good desk mount clip and should be included for the higher relative price of these. They should also remove all the different country specific plug options by default to offset the cost and then just have those added as a free option to order since most customers only use one country plug (these aren't "traveling" lights). The lights themselves are 5 stars (fantastic), but due to the high cost and no desk mount option included I would give this 4.5 stars if that were an option.

I actually own a single El Gato Key Light (the bigger one that clamps to your desk) and got this one as I decided that I needed more light in my videos. Compared to the more expensive regular key light, the key light air is more than enough for what I need (and probably more than most others would need as well). The color tone range is the same as the larger light, and you have the same control over the brightness. The difference in function is how bright this one gets versus the larger one. On paper it looks to be a lot, in reality it is not. I have never turned up either light anywhere near as high as they can go. Haven't needed to. The adjustable stand the light comes with is plenty tall. Fully extended it is more than a foot higher than my 27 inch monitors at their highest position. The base to the stand is small enough that you can put the lights to the side of your monitors as well and it would not be an issue. The base is also heavy enough that if an inch or two of the base needed to hang off the edge of your desk it would be fine and still confidently keep the light stable on your desk. The only issue you will have with El Gato lights is that since they connect to and are controlled via wifi, if your home has hotspots plus a main bridge/router, the light being on a pod/hotspot/extender versus the PC being on the main router made the PC often not "see" the light anymore and thus could no longer be controlled. This means that if you want to turn the light on, nope, not until you hard reset it to make it rejoin the router. Likewise, if this connection issue happens after the light is on you will not be able to turn the light off through your PC. You will instead need to manually set the light again.

I love how these pair to my stream deck. Being able to control them whenever I need them is awesome. I use these for streaming as well as for video calls! You would be amazed at how lighting can make the biggest difference in webcam quality. These are top-notch and well worth the money.

Simple to put together. Easy to use. Good quality. Just using it as a desk lamp that I can control via my streamdeck or app, and its brightness settings let me keep it low for my purposes. Might be a little pricey, but I’m very happy with the product.

The Elgato Key Light Air is an excellent source of light for content creation. It provides more than enough light for most any situation and can be adjusted to quickly and easily through either the phone app or the stream deck if you have one. The light's brightness can be adjusted in 10% increments and you can also adjust the temperature of the light to fit your needs. I ended up returning the light only because it ended up being overkill for me. I was only able to use the light at 10% brightness. Anything above that would wash out my face, even when just bouncing the light off the wall that I face. It did improve the quality of my video, but I can achieve the same result with a much cheaper alternative. If you have a small room that you are using to broadcast from, this may not be the best option for you. If you are using a medium to large size room you should get your money's worth. This is also a good option for photographers for lighting on the go. All you would need is a power source with a USB port, such as a laptop.

I’m not a streamer but I do play a lot of D&D games online as well as a lot of zoom/Skype/teams calls for work. My office is a converted walk-in closet and I got this light to illuminate myself during these calls and games. Works perfectly, easy to use, and the difference is huge. Highly recommend it!

Great desk light to balance lighting at your computer for video recording or conference / Zoom / Teams calls. Likes - range of tones and brightness to find the lighting balance you like. - WiFi connection to phone or computer that lets you control the power, brightness, tone. - well made with great balance and adjustability. Con - height adjustments limited. Overall, one of the best out there if it fits your setup.

The Key Light Air is a great lighting choice for various streaming / online conference needs. Having the ability to control the intensity and temperature of the light remotely via app is extremely helpful. Product setup is quick, and quality is high.

The light as a heavy base to hold it in position, which gives options for placement. The light is bright and the app gives a wide range of control. The light should be considered for interior or model photography as well as video conferencing.

I’ve had this light for more than 8 months still working great, no issues, easy to use.

The light is very good The app on your phone and hooking it up can be a pain so that’s why I just use it without the app Doesn’t get too hot unless you leave it on all day but it’s been really good for me

These lights are simply great! I did a lot of research and considered buying some cheaper ones on Amazon, but I ended up buying these and am very glad I did. The superior mechanical design and engineering of these ElGato units make them very easy and trouble free to both set up and use. I especially like the ability to gang together and control two lights as though they were just one. The brightness is way more than I need and the colorimetry and control allow me to reproduce an optimal fixed setup very easily and quickly.

I think it would be perfect if it did not require wifi to set up. Other then that it cannot change colors but if a great light i use it work work and it is stunning soft light it does not get hot quickly so you can have your meeting and not worry about burring up.

Easy to assemble and control via a smartphone. No heat means you can be close to it for long periods. Great for use in a backlit setting. No distracting ring reflection in glasses.

Due to this pandemic, I'm teaching online dance classes and needed better lighting. This does the trick! Easy to use, including the app. It makes my classes have that professional look!

The light is actually perfect. Fantastic range of brightness and range of color temperatures. There will be a perfect setting no matter what your setup looks like. Power cord might be a tad on the shorter side though. Which it was another foot longer.

This is a great little light that takes up minimal space but will greatly enhance your video chats or recordings. Easy to install and operate and lots of options for adjusting color intensity and temperature.
