It’s really nice light, easy to set up and the app works perfectly 

Are their cheaper lighting solutions? Yes. Is this one still absolutely fantastic and reliable? Yes. If you want one to last and you plan to use it a lot, I cannot imagine needing more than what these offer.

I gave it a 3 star because the app that controls it on my PC never wants to stay connected. I have 2 other friends with the same issue. The Elgato support staff is amazing but they couldn't solve the issue. They wanted me to return it for a new one but I feel it would still have the same problem and that just seems like a hassle to go through. To still use the light i have to click the app, quickly turn on the light and adjust the settings before the app vanishes. If it vanishes i have to force shut down the app, wait a few minutes and relaunch it. Then adjust the settings again. Super tedious. After further googling, you can purchase similar lighting for much cheaper without the Elgato name or an app to go with it. The quality of the light itself though is superb.

My son uses it for streaming. He said it works good to light up his face.

The light is what I need it. While it can be used professionally, any newbie like me can enjoy it without all the hassle of lighting knowledge. It allows you to change settings the way you see it and ready to without getting getting up. Set up was quick and easy.

Expensive light, gives off very little heat, but the light is worth it.

Love these for streaming! However hard to have them both show up in the app to remotly turn on and off. Only complaint. They work well with the stream deck and foot pedals

For something at this price point, that has a simple function, i want zero hassles. This thing just seems to have connectivity issues wrt control center. I see it in my router but not my devices and resetting and following the documentation didn’t help.
