The software is simplistic, as is the design. Its nearly plug and play, and it has unlimited uses. You can do anything from opening a game, to opening a website, to going live, to muting your mic, etc. It’s such a simple thing, and yet I can’t imagine my set-up without one now. It’s pricey, but if you can make full use of its features then its well worth it.

Bought 2, on for home office set up and another to travel. A must have for my business set up.

Very customizable. A little tricky at first with the software, but then very easy to use. I use it in and outside of streaming for little shortcuts here and there. Good pickup, but definitely not needed.

I love it! It works great for my needs. I use it to control my DAW and a few other apps, but it has a lot more possibilities. I could see this being very useful for content creators.

Wonderful as every Elgato product. Very easy to use and reliable

When I bought it I thought I’d probably run out of buttons within the first day or two but being a first time user to my surprise you can set different pages of buttons and pages within pages. My main reason for getting this was to use as a button box for simulators and it works great! But for my elgato mic it has the added benefit of being able to control not only my main volume but can also control specific in game volumes as well!

this is so much better built the earlier model. a usb-c to usb-c cable would of been nice though.

This thing is basically an infinite number of functions all packed in one. Super handy for swapping scenes, playing soundboard files, clipping streams, starting/ stopping live videos/ recordings, etc., and customization is pretty good ! Very easy to set up and get running, and simple enough to navigate the software. No complaints so far, looking forward to getting more use the more I stream !

Got this on a Black Friday sale for little less than a hundred I think, I was on the fence about returning it bc I haven’t had a chance to use it with OBS/Streamlabs/Twitch but I ended up getting a lot of use for it just by using it for system volume control and other useful Windows hotkeys. I bet if I lay out my macros right this can be really useful for playing MMOs

Very handy device once you spend the time programming it. Currently using mine to control my Philips Hue/Govee Lights, various windows 11 apps, video games, and several profiles setup for in game buttons for games such as Star Citizen and Farming Simulator. The Stream Deck doesn't like USB hubs so don't even try it. Other than that It's perfect.

Overall this was a great product and a big help in my streaming experience.

I bought the Stream Deck MK.2 when I started streaming a year ago, and have since upgraded to the Stream Deck XL (which has 32 buttons as opposed to 15). That said, the MK.2 is a more cost effective option for newer folks who are just getting used to the Elgato eco-system.
