I recently upgraded my streaming setup with the Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP, and it’s been a game-changer. The low-profile design is sleek and unobtrusive, which allows me to maintain a clean and professional look on camera. Unlike traditional mic arms that can be bulky and get in the way, this one stays out of my line of sight while still providing full flexibility and range of motion. The build quality is top-notch, with sturdy joints that hold my microphone securely in place without any sagging. The arm moves smoothly and quietly, making adjustments easy and noise-free even during a live stream. The cable management is another highlight—it’s discreet and keeps everything tidy, which is crucial when you’re dealing with multiple wires in a streaming setup. Installation was straightforward, and the arm attaches firmly to my desk without any wobble or movement. It’s compatible with a wide range of microphones, so I didn’t have to worry about whether it would work with my existing gear. The only minor downside is that it may take a bit of time to find the perfect placement for your microphone, especially if you’re new to using a low-profile arm. However, once you have it set up, it’s incredibly convenient and makes a huge difference in the overall quality of your setup. Overall, the Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP is an excellent investment for anyone serious about streaming or podcasting. It combines style, functionality, and durability in a way that enhances both your workspace and your on-camera presence.

This mic boom is perfect for those that want to keep there desk look sleek. I found this low pro boom works best if you have your monitors set up higher than normal. This way you can have good clearence on the bottom of the monitors. I paired the boom with a Rode PodMic and it hold it perfectly. I would highly recommend this boom arm!

Very nice build quality, i love the magnetic cable management slots. Moves super smooth. Very simplistic and clean. They should of made the top bend though.

Comparing to my Rode PSA-1+, I like this better. It, being low-profile, doesn't have quite the range as the PSA-1+, but I've been trying a couple different positions and I've found it to be very functional. And, the super-bonus is the low-profile allows me to position the mic directly in front of me without blocking any of the screen. Have a very heavy Logitech Blue-Sonas XLR mic on the end, mounted horizontally (vs vertically above or below the mount), which adds even more weight on the end, due to increasing the length, causing some (minimal) sag. Have heard people complaining about the "sag". Very easy resolution to this problem... if the sag has made your OCD sads, raise the arm a little higher before securing, so that the sag now becomes level. Ignore the negative comments in some reviews. I read them and they clearly have no idea what they purchased or how stuff works. It's a good solid purchase.

Give the compactness of my desktop, I was looking for a 'low profile' mic arm to work with a yeti blue mic. Honestly, this arm has performed quite well - though a fair bit of torque is required to keep the arm from falling under the weight of a Yeti mic. Made of high quality components, and quite easy to install. Swings out of the way when not in use, which was the key feature I was looking for.

Perfect for my setup. This mic arm won’t be for everyone, not because it isn’t a very high quality mic arm that’s definitely worth the 100 dollar asking price, but because not everyone will want a “low profile” style mic arm. I used to use a blue (now Logitech) compass, but the springs are too strong for a lighter microphone and I would have to constantly readjust the arm. Not so with the Elgato Mic Arm LP, it sits where I put it and stays there. It also folds up compact at the back of my desk, out of the way until I need it. very happy with it!

Great mic arm with a solid design I have my shure SM7B setup on it. With the great magnetic cable management slot I am able to hide the xlr cable.Love that it’s low profile so when it’s not needed it can easily be tucked out of the way behind a monitor. It supports a good amount of weight for something small. I am able to use my Sony a7iii with a solid lens with no sagging or drooping. 10/10 would buy again!!

Low profile, Easy to assemble, perfect for what I needed! I was on a Rode psa-1 but it obscured my second monitor and this solves the issue! Its well made and doesn't sink with my AT2020 mic.

This LP (Low Profile) Boomarm from Elgato is very good and high quality.. You can route the cable through the mic arm itself for a nice clean look and since its low profile it won't get in your way of Field Of Vision of monitors etc. You can pair this with any mic as you please with the universal adapter for attachments that comes with the boomarm, 100% worth and you are getting what you paid for.

Needed something simple yet productive. I purchased this item and clamped it on my desk. Its sturdy, doesnt move around or get loose. The arm moves gently to accomodate to the positioning you want and has 3 options to adjust certain levels and tightness you want to help position the mic perfectly where you need it at the distance you prefer.

Love this stand. It clamps to the desk and flush against the wall. I have it mounted on my desk and behind my monitors and with the low profile, it swings out when I need it and tucks away when I dont. Well built and stable, built in cable management is great. Keeps my desk looking great and professional. It is pricey for a stand, but after using it, it is hard seeing me use any other stand.

Excellent adjustability and smooth action. West to use and doesn’t not require any force at so to move it around easily to position. Love the magnetic cable management channels. The part where the arm slides into the base is a bit out of spec, causing it to favor a heavy downward angle near the base, but is easily compensated for with its ease of adjustability. Fine tune the clearances on the part where the two pieces connect and this would be 100% five star

I don't normally leave reviews for products. If you're looking for a mic arm that isn't the typical 'A' frame, this is the solution you didn't know you were looking for, but absolutely wanted. The build quality is fantastic and the magnetic plates to hide the cable make cable management easy.

Tried a few budget options before ultimately spending the extra cash for this and it's completely worth it. Everything is built very well. The magnetic covers for the cable management is very easy to use and the arm just works. I would definitely reconsider, it was far better than my original $15 boom arm from Amazon and my $50 boom arm that I tried before getting this
