The Elgato wave 3 has great build quality it sounds great to other people in discord or game chat it is the best mic I have ever bought and paired with the shock mount it is a great combination it doesn’t pick up any bangs from your table or background noise unless it’s super loud the software is amazing once you learn how to use it I love it 10/10 Elgato

Was originally using a J-lab. The quality is night and day. Definitely worth picking up if you have the extra scratch to afford. I use it for general communication and pod casting and I’ve never sounded better!

This mic is perfect for the small podcasting and highly recommend it and it's ease of use.

Originally bought a Blue Yeti that was giving me some unexplained popping noise so I returned it and bought this instead. Glad I did! This mic has great sound, very easy to adjust, smaller for a desktop environment, have excellent button feel and function and it looks great. If you don't need a bunch of options and features you most likely won't use, I say this is your mic. Not knocking the Blue Yeti, just saying I like this one better.

This microphone packs a lot of punch in sound quality and options for the price! It took a little bit to set up properly as you have to make sure you follow the directions on the website when setting up all your sound settings! Otherwise you might not have sound in certain video games which I think was a little annoying until I realized I had set it up incorrectly. The touch Mute button is possibly my most favorite feature of this microphone!

After researching several brands, we settled on the Elgato Wave 3, even though it is a bit more expensive than the other ones because it has all the features that we needed. It is just a cardioid microphone but it has an internal pop filter. It comes with a great software that you can download from their website. The sound quality of the recording when you are podcasting or streaming is really good and you can do several mixes.

I started with a different brand that was easy enough to set up but just not this level of quality. It takes a bit of figuring out, but once you understand the software you'll find this Elgato mic has great sound quality and is packed with features. I love that it has input monitoring directly on the back via 3.5mm headphone jack.

Upgraded to this mic from a cheap Amazon one. It captures my voice better and without turning the gain to full blast. The software I easy to use and if you are new to using audio there's a ton of YouTube videos that can assist you getting it just right. Overall if you need/want a good USB microphone for content creation or streaming this is it.

Sure a great microphone has little to do with aesthetics. However, when it's on your desk and you have to look at it every day.... It's nice to have one that's not a hideous blob of metal and plastic. I haven't used the wave software too much but overall so far it's been excellent for recording.

I needed a microphone for improved sound quality during videa call meetings, and this seemed perfect. The sound is nice and clear and the software included is easy to use to fine tune the quality.

Has made my streaming life so much easier!!! If not just the mic the software that comes with this is a game CHANGER for streamers and content creators. I have only gotten compliments for the way i sound on stream as well!

When it comes to non-XLR, this is kinda top tier for USB mics and the WavLink software does a lot to make up for the premium price. Highly recommend for Discord and OSB streaming. The hardware noise limiter on the top end is great feature too that many USB mics do not have. Wish it did have more mic patterns like the HyperX Quadcast, however cardioid is mainly used.

Sounds about the same if not better then the YETI but is a lot smaller and not as distracting on stream. The Software is where this microphone shines. The Wavelink software lets this mic work similar to an xlr setup and stands in the space between a standard USB mic and an xlr setup. It only has the single pickup pattern and is designed for streaming.

I have this mic for both a conference call set up and for voiceover work for training videos I produce for work. In both instances, it’s great. I wish the software was a little easier to use for the way it splits out audio, but the quality of this mic is great. Being able to have mute controls and even a way to plug-in headphones for local monitoring when doing voice overs was great. I have this coupled with the low profile arm on the side of my desk.

For the price and the intended application, it's a really nice mic with a lot of great features. While you certainly could use it for music production, it's really aimed at streamers. To that end, the sound is lacking a bit on the low end and focuses more on the mids and a bit of upper-end clarity. I imagine this was an intentional decision as this helps with audibility. You can tweak it with the (included) EQ if you want a different sound, but this has a great foundation on which to build. It's also well made, the mute button is silent, and the noise floor is low. It's also muted in its design so it doesn't stick out on camera. The software is relatively simple to use and works well. I really don't have anything negative to say about it, what else could you want from a streamer-oriented mic at this price point?

Very nice sounding microphone, but it seems to be intended for podcasting more than other recording work. I recorded myself reading and playing acoustic guitar and found that the midrange was very strong on both and the low-end was not full for either. Turns out the bottom end of the frequency response on this mic is 70Hz, and that missing bass was noticeable for me, even boosting it with EQ in post. The software it works with also looks like it would be great for streaming, and is a great mixer, but it offers almost no functionality for signal modification.
