    Amazing Mic.. Amazing Software

Ive only been using this mic for a week but I can honestly say I am blown away by its sound quality, ease of use and the Wave Link software! I have used USB mics for years.. Logitech Blue Yeti, HyperX Quadcast, JLab Go Talk, and the recent Steelseries Alias.. but the Elgato Wave:3 blows them all out of the water. Your voice comes through clear and the added 3.5mm headphone jack on the back of the mic makes monitoring your sound a breeze. The multifuntion knob on the front makes it easy to adjust mic gain, headphone volume and a mix of the two on the fly. The build quality isnt the best but the mic doesnt feel cheap by any means. I recommend buying the additional shock mount to make it easier to mount on a boom arm.. but the additional $40 cost of that might not be in the budget for some people considering this is a Budget-Friendly USB mic. The Wave Link software is where this mic really shines! Im not a sound engineer by any means, but Wave Link makes it very easy to add and/or delete various audio channels with the ability to control the volume of each separately. The ability to EQ, add various plugins from the Elgato website and use VSTs make this microphone way more versatile and should fit the needs of anyone that uses it!

I recently had the pleasure of using the Elgato Wave:3 Wired Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in delivering top-notch audio quality and user-friendly features. First and foremost, the audio capture capabilities of the Wave:3 are outstanding. The cardioid polar pattern ensures that it captures sound from the front while minimizing background noise, resulting in clear and crisp recordings. Whether you're a content creator, streamer, or a podcaster, this microphone delivers professional-grade audio that enhances the overall quality of your content. One of the standout features of the Wave:3 is the 24-bit analog-to-digital converter, which allows for a high-resolution audio recording. The clarity and depth of the audio produced by this microphone truly make a difference, especially when compared to other USB microphones on the market. Setting up the Wave:3 is a breeze. The plug-and-play design means you can simply connect it to your computer via USB and start recording immediately. The Wave:3 also integrates seamlessly with Elgato's Wave Link software, providing advanced audio control options such as mixing multiple audio sources and applying real-time effects. The microphone itself boasts a sleek and modern design, with a sturdy build that feels durable. The multifunctional control dial on the front allows for quick adjustments to your headphone volume and microphone gain, providing a convenient and efficient user experience. Another notable feature is the inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack directly on the microphone. This allows for real-time monitoring of your audio without any noticeable latency, ensuring that you can make adjustments on the fly and maintain the highest audio quality possible.

    Amazing USB Microphone

Amazing quality USB microphone for streaming. The only better USB would be a Beacn but that is double the price and very minor increase in performance. Where this really shines is the bundled software that gives you a really easy to use mixer. I can be listening to Spotify while streaming and not have that music playing in stream and having to worry about DMCA violations. If you want a top quality pro mic you want a Shure XLR but you are looking at about 800 for a complete package. This mic is truly a steal and all that you will ever need.

My first microphone was the Blue Yeti X. I purchased one of those several months before and no matter how many settings I adjusted and changed, I was never satisfied with how it sounded and blended with game or music audio. I felt like I was always fighting audio issues. This mic finally solved this problem! The build quality feels nice. The base is heavy and the mic is light. If you are going to attach this mic to a Blue Compass boom arm you'll need a way to weigh the arm down because the mic alone is too light. I wouldn't mind if the mic was a little heavier. Muting the mic is easy and doesn't cause much feedback through the mic. The mic sounds decent enough. It could use more more options for a compressor, equalizer, etc. but these can be updated through a software update. My voice sounds like my voice and it picks up my voice no problem, so I can't complain here. Now for the WaveLink software that comes with the mic. This is the best aspect of this mic. It makes testing audio so much simpler. I can balance all of my audio live with no issue in one application. Compare this to previously where I would need to listen to my stream with a different headset to hear what my stream hears. I no longer need to do that to balance audio. This is great especially if you play a variety of games that may need different audio levels. Overall I have really enjoyed using this mic. It has been much easier to setup and modify compared to my Blue Yeti X. I plan to buy the pop filter and shock mount soon.

I love Elgato Products. I have used this microphone for almost one year now. I can honestly say it is one of the best condenser microphones on the market. What makes this one so unique is the Wave Link software that comes with it. You can intergrade all your computer audio through Wave Link and put it into OBS. Which makes everything much simpler to manage. There are many videos online that explain how to set it all up. The audio is crisp, clean, and clear. I also bought the pop filter along with it. You will need to buy a microphone stand since the base stand may be too short. Overall this is a fantastic microphone. People have commented so much that my audio sounds good in my videos. I love the mute button on the top! You can even add VST Plugins to the software to enhance the quality. Thank you to Elgato they deserve all the credit.

First, I have used a Blue Yeti for a while and wanted to see how well the Elgato Wave 3 stacked up. Here are a few thoughts. The Elgato has a slightly better sound while using. This is objective, however to the user and listener. I like that the Elgato has a smaller footprint than the Yeti. My desk can get cluttered with all the gizmos, so having a smaller mic that works in my opinion better is a plus. As far as features the Elgato also takes it for me. The software you can use with it makes controlling your audio sources much easier, especially if you are a streamer. The mute button is a nice touch in that it is capacitive touch and works well. If you are someone that needs the different voice patterns for recording, such as being able to record from both front and back of mic for a podcast perhaps, the Yeti might still be a better option for you. But if you are going to be the only one using it, then I suggest going with the Elgato.

Perfect! I was looking for a great microphone at an affordable price, after watching many reviews and listening to microphones at much higher prices ($400-$500) this sounds just as good if not better than them! The software is user friendly and has many features, like adjusting the volume. You don’t even need the software to use the mic, it’s simple and easy to use, just plug it in and play! It’s clear and picks up my voice perfectly, and there’s a sensor on the top you can quickly tap (not a button!) and it mutes until you tap it again! There’s lights on the microphone so you know if you’re muted or not. Overall it’s high quality and very durable, highly recommended! (My opinion, but it also looks great. Simple but aesthetic, good for anyone!) Thank you so muchh

Im happy i went to my local best buy the day i did. This was the last one in stock. I originally went to purchase the Samson mic for 139$. Then i seen the Bluse set up with boom arm for 200$ but that needed a XLR connection so that was a pass. I came across the Elgato set up and loved the sleek look and metal boom arm. I had a bad feeling if i purchased the Samson i wouodnt have been happy so i pulled forced my self to get the Elgato mic. Not just the mic but the whole set up. And WOW, right out the box it sounds professional without any tweaks. I had preprogram sound vocal settings which i use for all of my podcast and this mic enhances those settings x100. If you can find this mic buy it wont be disappointed. Im purchasing the elgato lighting next.

This mic is so clear and I really enjoy that mute button at the top. It’s not like other mute buttons on mics that have a click sound. This one is quiet and so seamless. The extra features you can get from the Wave Link program are also pretty helpful if you have a lot of sounds to control and keep in mind. I personally only really need the features you can get to on the mic itself. I also enjoy the slim design of the mic itself. So compact compared to the bulkier mics I see. I use this mic for streaming on Twitch. Would recommend for a great usb mic for streaming :)

I bought this after owning a Blue Yeti for a couple of years. I prefer this in every way. The software is better, it works better with Windows' awful sound manager, and I have had no complains in regard to the sound quality and I've had it for two years now. The capacitive touch mute works great and I use it every day. Get this for a great desktop microphone.

Great microphone. It is east to set up and use. The tap to mute button is what did it for me, I love how easy it is to mute and unmute. The quality is also there when it comes to voice chat in game, discord, or whatever software you are pairing it with. It feels sturdy and of quality build.

Super happy with this microphone! I'm loving the quality of sound while I use it for streams and video production but the real gem is the Wave Link software, giving you precise control of what you are streaming and listening to in separate mixes. Pricewise, it's just above the price of other entry-level microphones for a superior sounding microphone. Instructions for physical setup are in the box but make sure you refer to the Elgato youtube channel for how to set up the software and dial in your settings.

Amazing product. Purchased to use for my streams on COD Warzone. The sound quality is great on this mic, and the built in Low cut Filter is a life saver. If you have a deeper voice and have ever recorded, you will understand lol. Has a ton of features, and the WaveLink software is dope too. It gives you control over every sound inputted to your system, and gives you the control of where you want it outputted, or if you want it outputted at all. Great purchase.

Great sound quality and awesome software control. There is a slight learning curve to the software in regards to properly splitting and assigning audio sources. One major complaint I have is that the cardioid pattern seems far inferior to the blue yeti I used previously. This mic picks up TONS of sound from behind it. Yeti has options to control the pattern, this did not. That being my only complaint it’s a god mic but that is a major flaw in my opinion.

So, I've owned this for a couple weeks now, and I have to say this is by far the best mic I've ever owned. I had to upgrade finally from a Blue Snowball after a couple years, due to it just finally shorting out and stopped working. I made the jump and splurged the $150 for this bad boy, and am so happy I did! The Wave Software can be a tad intimidating, but there's literally hundreds of youtube videos about it to help you, so that made life a bit easier lol, and once you figure it out, it's pretty simple to use. Once I was able to configure my headphones and mic together, it sounds amazing! I actually have my Razer Kraken V2 Pro headphones plugged into the mic and I actually have better sound now than I did from my PC it seems. Everyone I've spoken to through Discord the past couple weeks has said it sounds so much better than it ever did before, which is good for gaming and you need to communicate with your teammates. The mute button on the top of the mic is very easily noticeable that it's muted by the red ring around your volume knob, and the fact I can control the volume for my Mic, and Headphones separately by pushing the button in and it switches between them is so handy! Quality is well made, with a mix of metal and plastic, but the plastic parts are not cheap and thin like some you'd see. This definitely had care put into it when being designed. Over all, I'd definitely recommend this, if you're a streamer, or if you just want a well made and professional sounding mic, this is definitely it!
