It is an amazing microphone. It has an incredible quality and the system it has to prevent distortion is so good. Noise in the room? No problem! You scream? No problem! You lean away? No problem! Very good microphone. Plug and play. The software Wave link is also amazing.

Great mic. From the mute button on the top, to the Wave link software, that allows you to customize every aspect of the microphone. Couldn’t recommend it more. Best microphone in its budget range, it sounds like a 500$ microphone when you adjust the wave link software.

Amazing sound quality, super easy to set up, just the right amount of sound control, and the app is phenomenal! You can pay more for a mic, but you won’t get more!

This is a great mic. I went from a blue yeti but this one was much easier to use and the software that you use along with it gives you even more options to adjust it how you want. I would highly recommend this one over the others since this is made by a an actual sound company.

A good, all around easy-to-use microphone. I was able to set it up with my mic crane and computer within a couple of minutes. The sound quality is better than my last microphone (Blue Yeti).
IMO sounds better than Yeti and software kills Yet

I'll get the only con i have out of the way, the stock stand and even on an arm mount the mic isnt far enough out to clear the usb-c plug if you have to adjust it up and down very far. I fixed the issue with a $5 usb-c 90 degree adapter from amazon so it is not a big deal but they could have made the mic stand off .5 in deeper and this wouldnt be an issue.
Now to the good and there is a lot of good. The biggest upside beside the price is the software it comes with. If you do streaming or even just heavy web meetings then it makes setting up and tweaking the audio so much better and it is really easy to jump into and figure out.
My setup wouldnt allow for the stock stand to be placed in a good spot so i put it on an arm attached to the desk and when i get it into position it sounds fantastic. I also grabbed the pop filter to soften the T and P sounds which helped and looks slick installed. I do hear some background noise that i think is coming through my arm but they also sell a shock mount that i may get eventually to clean up the sound even more and it is priced great for what it is as well.

The Elgato Wave:3 USB Microphone offers impressive sound quality and a sleek design that enhances any recording setup. The cardioid condenser microphone captures clear and professional-grade audio, making it ideal for streaming, podcasting, and voiceovers. The accompanying Wave Link software provides intuitive control over audio settings, although it can be limiting, even for users with extensive knowledge in fine-tuning sound settings. While this limitation may be disappointing, the overall performance and audio quality of the Elgato Wave:3 make it a solid choice for content creators looking for a reliable USB microphone.

Worth it alone for the Wave Link software. I tried out a HyperX Quadcast S prior to this one and was super disappointed by the software. Wave Link allows VST plugins, which allows fine tuning for those with a little background knowledge on audio mixing, such as myself. I'd argue Wave Link's capability is even better than the Blue software - but both are way better than HyperX's. The mic sounds great out of the box too, but I really appreciate the Wave Link software.
My criticism is that the physical adjustment knob is on the small side, and it's hard to read (if not impossible) to see the embossed icons on the front of the mic. Kind of minor complaint, and I still very much think it's a great value worth it for the unit.

My go-to mic for work calls, streaming, hanging out with friends online. I've been using this mic for 2 years (i have two now). I've dedicated one to my streaming setup at home and for the occasional work call from home, and then one in my office. Sound quality is amazing and I love the professional look! I've seen the Blue Yeti mics around the office and I don't like the idea of having a big sphere on my desk. This is a nice touch to a minimalistic setup.

Bought this for Master's work in college to be able to transcribe to Word. Might be overkill for that single purpose but the clarity and presets are awesome! Highly recommended if you are needing an above average recording mic. Easy plug and play, the Elgato driver software was difficult to locate, the company could have enclosed some more thorough instructions but after a couple of YT videos I was up and running.

Really good mic, the WaveLink software is undoubtedly one of the best and easiest mixing software's out, and only way to use the software is with one of the WAVE microphones OR a Wave XLR. Low latency monitoring via headphones through the software. Or zero via the 3.5mm jack on back of the mic.
Currently i use the VOID RGB headphones for chat and audio, the addition of the Wave-3 MIC has just improved my audio mix for streaming and recording gameplay.
This is a Condenser mic vs a dynamic mic (it can pick up additional sound from your room, environment. However the latest WaveLink software update allows additional audio effects to clean up that background noise)
Budget friendly, On the professional scale for audio quality. Cant complain!

The Elgato Wave 3 microphone is great for streaming which has an exceptional program which is very adjustable with a digital mixing solution. The plate on the microphone is made out of metal and the controls on the front make adjustments easy. My purchase included the Elgato Facecam (offered at a reduced price)!

This microphone works great for streaming! I paired it with the clamp that attaches to your desk and it was super easy to setup. Not only is the sound quality great but you can choose between three different volume settings on the mic. Game volume, chat volume, and microphone sensitivity. Tuere is also software elgato provides on their website for software to fine tune. All in all great price and great mic!

The Elgato Wave 3 Mic is an amazing microphone. It is very easy to set up and tune. The button/knob is very responsive. I totally recommend it to those looking for quality, along with easy use.

The wave 3 is a better buy then the wave 1 or yeti, wave 3 replaced my yeti easily, since the quality of playback was just a bit better it in turn saved me money from buying a Go XLR since the wave has it covered in software not to mention saving on desk space from having a XLR, when determining what is best for you, you got to consider your desk space, usb plug ins, ease of use and access, just picture yourself using which ever direction and then I created in my head of a scenario what if I used my laptop ether for video calls or streaming/ podcasting on the go, thinking long term as well helped me make my decision easier on portability and plug in play.

I wanted a new microphone for voiceovers/ podcasting, and wanted one that was unidirectional as well. The quality jump when I switched to the Wave:3 was immediately noticeable - not only to me, but to everyone who listened! It’s super easy to use, and I love that it came with its own boom arm attachment as well. Highly recommend!

I love this microphone. It's a bit light for my heavyweight boom, but it has very clear and good sound. I do have to keep the gain up fairly high to match my old mic, but so far this is just as good. Two things that make it the #1 for me--it is USB-C and the wave mixing software was something that I was missing. I never did find anything good for the PC, and now I'm using this. Also going to replace my lighting with Elgato's panels as soon as I get paid! This ties in great with my other purchase, the Stream Deck XL. I don't stream, but the deck controls the mic and the others items to give me ease-of-control that I didn't have before.

Bought this to use while gaming. Toying with the idea of streaming at some point. Microphone is excellent quality (came well recommended from a friend who streams). Wave Link software is amazing and eliminates the need for an external mixamp for separate channels, etc. Very light (see my review on the Blue Mic Compass boom arm for more info). I highly recommend this microphone and software. Bit of a learning curve setting up different channels, but that is due to my lack of knowledge, not any shortcoming with the mic. And the software will walk you through this as well. Just need to spend more time with it. Would give it 6 stars if I could.
