The mic is pretty nice. Well built, has a nice presence for streaming as it looks like a classic radio host mic in style. It's a pretty bright microphone overall, but it does come with inbuilt software that you can tweak. I think it's pretty good though a little bit overpriced. Bought it for my brother as a Christmas present and I think he likes it, but like I said, for $100 I think you could probably do a little better for even a little cheaper. But for ease of use it's probably the king in that way.

For me this is a fantastic product that has provided me with better audio for my Zoom calls and Discord voice chats; no longer needing to use my AirPods or Sony’s which do not do well with voice chats unlike this microphone.
The software is simple, but there is a little learning curve, though this mic is practically plug and play. The build quality is an issue for some since the casing is plastic, but that doesn’t bother me.
There are mics that are built and sound better of course, but for the price I wasn’t going to turn these down. I do wish it was a little taller but I’ll be investing in a boom arm to fix that issue.

Quality is great, huge improvement over the built in headset mic that I was using. Software is easy to use by itself though when setting it up, my computer decided to not play nice for a while so I had to mess around with some of the sound settings. The mute function by tapping the top of the mic is a lot more useful that one might think (or if you're like me that does not like setting a shortcut or dedicate a key to software mute). The LED on the column/mic gain dial turns red so you know you're muted.
Important note is that if you plan to fully use the software and use the mic's 3.5 mm jack for headphones, that is the only way it works. Wireless or Bluetooth does not work along with the microphone integration. So if you're using any sort of wireless headset, as I am doing, the microphone can only be used by itself (as a microphone) but if you are using a wired headset then you can manage 6 sound channel inputs using the software. Very handy IF you use 3.5 mm wired headset.

I have been trying out different microphones over the past couple of weeks and this is the 4th one I have tried and so far it is the best by far. It's simple to use and I find the external gain control to be very useful.
I'm mainly using this for video conferencing but the sound quality is way better than either my laptop internal mic or my Logitech Brio webcam microphone.
It is a little pricy compared to similar mics that have polar patterns that this mic does not have but for my purposes I don't need all those additional patterns.

Awesome quality coming from the Elgato Wave 3. It is great for streamers and gamers. I compare it to the Rode NT1 that I use for recording music vocals. It even comes with a program for software-side audio routing so that you can mix & decide the audio that comes through on your stream/recording. This way I can still chat on programs such as Discord while I am recording content. I also enjoy the ability to quickly mute my mic through a touch sensor, as well as physically control the gain levels on the device itself.

Was originally using a J-lab. The quality is night and day. Definitely worth picking up if you have the extra scratch to afford. I use it for general communication and pod casting and I’ve never sounded better!

Best usb cardioid on the market!
Before I bought this I used a blue yeti for years. The wave 3 is lighter, easier to position and comes with the wave link software. The wave link software is amazing for streamers and content creators. Really I almost bought this mic entirely for the software, it’s that good. The clip guard feature works well but I can’t tell if the low pass filter does anything at all.
You’ll be very happy with this mic if you’re a streamer.

The Elgato wave 3 has great build quality it sounds great to other people in discord or game chat it is the best mic I have ever bought and paired with the shock mount it is a great combination it doesn’t pick up any bangs from your table or background noise unless it’s super loud the software is amazing once you learn how to use it I love it 10/10 Elgato

Originally bought a Blue Yeti that was giving me some unexplained popping noise so I returned it and bought this instead. Glad I did! This mic has great sound, very easy to adjust, smaller for a desktop environment, have excellent button feel and function and it looks great. If you don't need a bunch of options and features you most likely won't use, I say this is your mic. Not knocking the Blue Yeti, just saying I like this one better.

This microphone packs a lot of punch in sound quality and options for the price! It took a little bit to set up properly as you have to make sure you follow the directions on the website when setting up all your sound settings! Otherwise you might not have sound in certain video games which I think was a little annoying until I realized I had set it up incorrectly. The touch Mute button is possibly my most favorite feature of this microphone!

After researching several brands, we settled on the Elgato Wave 3, even though it is a bit more expensive than the other ones because it has all the features that we needed.
It is just a cardioid microphone but it has an internal pop filter. It comes with a great software that you can download from their website. The sound quality of the recording when you are podcasting or streaming is really good and you can do several mixes.

I have this mic for both a conference call set up and for voiceover work for training videos I produce for work. In both instances, it’s great. I wish the software was a little easier to use for the way it splits out audio, but the quality of this mic is great. Being able to have mute controls and even a way to plug-in headphones for local monitoring when doing voice overs was great. I have this coupled with the low profile arm on the side of my desk.

This mic is very quality, it's very easy to setup, and the sound and crispiness of the voice it produces is incredible. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for the best USB mic for any situation.

Highly Recommend this microphone especially if you wanna make videos or just have a good mic in general. I use it for streaming made my streams 10x better.

I started with a different brand that was easy enough to set up but just not this level of quality. It takes a bit of figuring out, but once you understand the software you'll find this Elgato mic has great sound quality and is packed with features. I love that it has input monitoring directly on the back via 3.5mm headphone jack.

I needed a microphone for improved sound quality during videa call meetings, and this seemed perfect. The sound is nice and clear and the software included is easy to use to fine tune the quality.
