Had our electric smooth top range catch fire from top burners. Purchased this electric burner until we could get a new electric range. And, it’ll be good to have for my kitchen dining area or dining room. Can keep coffee, tea or even soup warm so I don’t have to keep going to kitchen for refills. It worked for a month with our little air oven. Gave us time to get the electric range we needed.

Bare bones simple analog dial control for temp on single circular hot plate. Range from 1 - 5 on temp. Faint led light that's tough to see whether heat is on/off. Body is "tinny" and plate has heat resistant rubber feel. I have used it with a square nonstick pan with handle. First cook was pancakes on setting 4. No burnt casualties. Overall am pleased. (Not for boiling water). Docked 1/2 a star for the faint indicator light, Rate this 4.5/5. This may be good for hotel kitchen cooking.

Perfect for dorm life and camping. Easy to use and it cools down quickly.

Overall its really great at what its supposed to do. Its heats up well and evenly quickly. Its simple to use as well and seems relatively safe. Only thing to look out for would be that since its a metal plate when you turn it off its important to take the pot off as it will keep cooking due to that plate.

I cook for a lot of parties and hate having food on the counter or table that gets cold. I plugged this unit in, ran the cord under the table and I can serve hot food right in the middle of the table, which I absolutely love. I will be buying more of these. Very nice quality and work flawlessly and keep an even temperature. Very easy to use all around an outstanding unit, and a very nice addition to my party equipment, buy one, they are cheap.

Love my elite Gourmet single electric burner. It works great enabling me to use many of my favorite pots and pans which no longer work on my new induction range. Using this as an additional burner prevents the induction stove from adjusting the power down for using the oven and a burner or two. Can also be used to keep appetizers warm is a location differrent than the kitchen.

I like the Elite single burner since I can now have an extra burner to use when my stove is full. I can place on my kitchen island while cooking and complete a meal much faster. It is so convenient and I actually love that it cooks evenly. If anything spills over I allow it to cool and clean up is also a breeze.

I need a stronger powered electric range. I can't deep fry foods even the maximum volume is turned on. My egg rolls are soaked in oil. A regular deep fryer works better. This range should be used for heating foods only.

We purchased it to cut our food costs on business or personal hotel stays and it worked great. It will boil water fast as long as long as your pot is only half full.

Great for extra space . It's great to have it in the middle of the table even if needed. I'm mostly excited about the travel friendly option. It's a must have for convenience too.

I actually purchased it as a gift for a friend who stays in a camper with no stove. He has had nothing but good things to say about the burner. It heats everything quickly and perfectly. Easy to clean and put away after use

I used it for the first time today and it was fantastic. It heated up really fast and kept my food hot all day long.

Perfect for using whilst camping in my little RV that has very limited counter space.
