    It's a cool tool. I tried it once so far as a backup for my gas range. It works well, heats up fast and stays hot for awhile.

    I call it portable because you can use it everywhere you can plug it. Just make sure there is no danger for kids. It is also an additional cook.

    The stove works as advertized. The burner plate is 7" which is larger than most of small sauce pan. It is easy to spill since the heat would not recede even after cutting off power supply for a while.

    It worked fine initially but after 6 months of use, it does not heat up anymore. I contacted customer service and still awaiting a response. Looks like they have now discontinued this product
