Worth spending 159 minutes of your time. Epic drama of a man who never personally realized his greatness and what a profound change to music he created. A man who loved others but was sadly used by those he loved the most. Great acting by Tom Hanks as Col. Tom Parker who came across as the disgusting Snowman-Mgr who befriended Elvis for his own rewards. The final scene 18 where it appears to be truly ELVIS in Las Vegas singing Unchained Melody, will bring a lump to your throat and tears to your eyes. Very dramatic ending.

The 4k is great. The movie rushes through the life of Elvis a bit too fast.

I was actually surprised by the movie Elvis. The movie took me by surprise because it was so well done written directed and the starring cast was really well done. To see Tom Hanks playing Colonel Tom Parker was incredible. Anybody who knows Elvis Presley knows that Colonel Tom Parker was a swindler, a cheat, anaconda artist, nobody even knew his real name I don't even think Elvis did. This takes it all the way back from Elvis's childhood all the way up until just about the time of his death which was pretty impressive and you got to see things that most people probably didn't know about him especially his love of gospel music. I would highly recommend this movie because of just how it was done. I can't give it five stars but it comes pretty close if you're an Elvis Presley fan or you just want to sit down and watch a really good movie this is probably one of the good ones. I highly recommend it.

This is a great movie, and the 4k does bring out that fact as well. My wife and I were able to see Elvis live in Duluth MN shortly before his death. It was sad to see him in the shape he was at that time, but his voice was still incredible. Although no one can possibly be anywhere near Elvis in his prime, Austin Butler does give a fantastic performance to make this movie very much believable, and this is well worth the money to purchase this!,,,

Where is the most energy in this movie the last three hours even though the movie was not three hours. The actor who played Elvis was totally awesome. Is motions in many resumes what is the closest I feel any actor has come close to the train the world famous Elvis himself. If you’re a true Elvis fan you will enjoy this movie to some degree. Yes Tom Hanks performance was not the greatest but it was a hard part that he had to play. I still give this an A+.

Excellent movie about the King of Rock and Roll. Elvis was an incredible man with many talents! There is a lot we do not know about him and yet this movie shows us his humanity and the loves of his life. It gives us just a little bit more of what he was like which is fascinating. I liked the fact that he studied/researched about important subjects to him. One being the Lord and how he loved to sing hymns.

Elvis passed away a little over a decade before I was born. So I know very little about him but this film was excellent. It showed his lifestyle personality and trial and tribulations. It’s sad he died and how Parker took advantage of him the entire time Austin Butler did a great job preforming. I can keep going on and on but if you’re considering watching this movie just go ahead and do it its such an amazing movie.

Really good movie, my only thing is wish they went into more detail on his life on how generous he really was and what he was really dealing with in his private life! I remember fondly going to Graceland's front gate in the late 60's and 70's talking with Uncle Vester about Elvis and a couple times he let me go in to walk up to his house before Graceland is looking as today!

Watching this movie I realize I knew almost nothing about Elvis. Not that I think this movie might be strictly historically accurate, but it did give me a nice glimpse into Elvis the phenomenon through Elvis the person. The video/audio is excellent, very true to the cinematic presentation, audio is definitely well-balanced.

I have to admit I was in the minority and thought this looked bad from the trailers but I'm glad to report I was wrong this is a powerful, incredible, and moving depiction of the King done in a fast-paced energetic 2 hours. WB kills it every 4k release worth picking up. I saw this on HBO max a few weeks ago and it looks so much better on disc.

I bought this during a week long Black Friday sale for the great price of $9.99 The movie is very good. The slipcover is colorful and eye popping. The 4K disc has a vibrant picture( especially concert scenes) with consistent High Dynamic Range. The Dolby Atmos track is immersive,especially in concert scences.

This is almost the perfect Elvis film accept for Tom Hanks, i usually love Tom in movies but the accent he has in this movie is just annoying. Col. Parker didn't sound as bad as he portrayed him out to be. But Austin as Elvis is worth it. A definite buy for Elvis fans.

Elvis was a great display of acting from Austin Butler and Tom Hanks both. I never knew the story fully with the colonel and his relationship so was nice to see that enfold and Austin nailed the Elvis dancing and mystique surrounding the character.
