If you need something simple for a slide show or to pay a movie on a screen this will work. It was pretty inexpensive, easy to use, and served its purpose. We had a powerpoint presentation for our community meeting.

I absolutely love my projector. Definitely gives me the feel for theater vibes ! Don’t expect the most amazing quality as this one is on the more affordable end. To me it does the job. Happy with my purchase :)

This projector works great. It's simple to use and has a really good picture quality.

At just under $100, this Ematic EPJ590WH projector does a good job at projecting a decent quality image in the dark, for up to about 100". It is rated for up to 150" but the image gets more blurry as the distance increases. Due to its fairly low resolution of 800x480, the most fun you can have is watching movies, videos, perhaps for an outdoor party. Nowadays everyone's been spoiled with 65+ inch 4K TVs that are super bright even in broad daylight, so this project is not meant to be compared to that. PROS - Inexpensive if you're looking for a basic, portable projector solution - Generous input options that accept 1080p HD content (2x HDMI ports, 1 - VGA port, 1 USB and 1 micro SD memory slot) - Easy to use remote control and menu responsive menu navigation - Reads most media file types, including MP3s and album art - Light weight, small size which makes it fairly portable. Also it has a single mounting screw in the middle that can be used with a tripod, especially if you're on the go CONS - Focus and keystone adjustment rather limited, so you'll have to tinker with the distance and angle placement to get the best image possible, in most cases best focus in the middle and blurrier as you get closer to the edges - Tiny speakers built-in resulting in sub-par sound quality, but at least there is standard headphone jack output you can connect to an external sound system for better volume - Cooling fan is a bit noisy, so make sure if you're watching a movie, you have a good sound system to make up for it, or don't sit too close to projector Overall this is a low-cost projector, so you have to set your expectations accordingly. But it's probably one of the better inexpensive projectors out there. I've tested it with various input sources and it worked without a hitch with most: - worked w/Samsung Galaxy S10 phone w/HDMI connector, both Samsung DEX desktop and screen mirroring - worked w/VGA input from PC - worked reading from micro-SD card, images, videos, even MP3s with album art which pop-ups a decent music player - worked w/iPad Air viewing pictures via HDMI cable converter - the only input I could not get it to work w/was a GoPro7 camera; I could only display the live feed from the GoPro, could not play pre-recorded 4K videos, but that's too much to ask for anyway.

Bought this on sale. Had low expectations based on the price but was surprised by how good it is. Using it to show movies outdoors on a 120" screen and it does a great job with the picture quality. Sound is low for a big setup. Recommend using an external amplifier and speakers, does great sound that way. Using a Chromecast to supply the shows also works great.

I can’t imagine anything working better than this at the price, it’s just not very bright and needs a very dark viewing area, not good enough for outside

Listen, if you're looking for top of the line projector then keep scrolling. If you are looking for a very good budget friendly projector than this is for you and your family. The worst part of this projector is the sound is pretty bad. So, I plugged in a Bluetooth speaker with an auxiliary port and it has completely fixed the sound issue! Also, there may be a sound issue you may experience with a fire stick which is an easy fix. Just google/youtube, firestick sound issue with a projector and its an easy fix.

Bought it as a gift for my nephew and he loves it. The picture quality is good for a projector but after purchasing a screen it was better.

Really nice. The only complaint I have is I wish it had a bit more weight to it. But other than that the picture quality it fantastic.

Works well for a kids movie night. The only con is you need to hook it to a speaker, unless you're sitting right next to it. Not Bluetooth

I'm so happy I impulse-purchased this. It works great - very easy set-up - and is making our summer in quarantine a whole lot more fun. I do need to purchase the right cable to connect it to my MacBook Air, and wish it was easier to figure all of that out, but it works fine with my husband's PC laptop.

We use it outdoors on our patio with a screen purchased on amazon, a fire stick and a jbl Filp Bluetooth speaker from Best Buy. Just like a drive in at home. Great picture and great sound. I’m sure you can get better projectors for much more money but this thing does great for our use. Love it.

It's okay quality for the price. It needs to be pretty dark to have a nice view, but other than that it's great for the price.

I am the least tech savvy person out there. With that being said, I was able to set up and use this with ease. The sound and picture is exceptional, especially for the price point. My only wish is that the cord was longer, but I guess that's what extension cords are for.

I think for the price of this projector it can’t be beat! It’s got all the major bells and whistles while still being a bargain

Sound isnt very loud but you can plug in a portable speaker. When watching Netflix, you have to constantly change an audio setting just to be able to watch your show or movie w sound. Projector wont play audio for Netflix if Netflixs default audio English 5.1 is checked. Pretty good picture.

It did the job for a back yard movie night the volume is low though just hook up a speaker and you’ll be fine.

Used it the same day we bought it for an outdoor movie night. It worked well, as you can imagine the sound is weak but the picture is clear. I didn’t do a whole lot of research, but this fits our families needs perfectly.
