Worked for a few months then the warming puck broke. Company (Ember) has not responded to emails. We were very careful with the product. Not worth the cost for an unreliable system.

Convenience comes at a price Like most parents, I was looking for convenience and safety when it comes to feeding my baby. The Ember bottle warmer warms breastmilk or formula to a perfect body temperature of 98.6 degrees in just a few minutes. No more worrying about feeding your baby milk at too low or too high temperatures. The Ember bottle system comes with the warming puck, two bottles, three different nipple sizes and an insulating dome. The warming puck allows you to warm bottles conveniently on the go or at night from your bed. I love that I can feed the baby at night without having to get out of bed to warm up a bottle in the kitchen and this helps my wife get her rest. To warm up the bottle, simply press the button on the warming puck or use the Ember app. The warming puck and app will notify you when the milk is at body temperature. You can also track feedings and your baby’s development on the Ember app. The insulated dome keeps milk cool when you are on the go. There is varying information on how long the insulated dome keeps milk cool, although Ember stated the dome keeps milk cool for up to 4 hours. Bottles are dishwashers safe which is super convenient, however, you can also boil the bottles. Bottles hold up to 6 ounces. Package comes with level 1 nipples for slower flow for newborns, as well as level 2 and level 3 nipples for older babies. If you would like to have your partner, parents, or family members involved with feeding your baby and are often on the go, then this product is great for you!

As a first time mom, this is by far the best product I have come across, when it comes to feeding my baby girl and heating her bottles. After pumping, once the milk has cooled or gets put in the fridge, this bottle warming system brings the milk to the perfect temperature! We have used the hot water in a bowl or cup method, baby breeza bottle warmer with steam, as well as microwaving. NONE compare to the Ember bottle warming system! It gets breast milk or formula to the perfect temperature, body temperature! What can compete with that, not a steamer, microwave or cup of hot water! It has cut down on the preparation time when I have to warm a bottle by cutting out all those things mentioned above. All you do is put the bottle on the heating puck and with in minutes my baby is eating a warm, body temperature bottle like she is eating directly from the breast or freshly pumped. Did I mention, It doesn’t matter if I’m heating 2oz. or 6oz., it gets heated to the perfect temperature, every time. To know my baby is getting a good warm, not too hot, not too cold bottle, means everything to this mama! Knowing that the perfect temperature ensures that all the nutrients in the milk are preserved, means my baby is getting exactly what her little body needs and takes all the stress away from those worries of over heating or not heating her bottles enough! Since I’m a breastfeeding and pumping mom and always on the go, the dome also keeping a bottle cool for hours before needing to be warmed is one of my favorite features. The best of both worlds, it can keep a bottle warm or cool for hours, whatever you need. Not to mention I can do it all with the Ember baby app right from my phone as well as track my baby’s feedings. It also shows you on your phone the bottle warming and when it’s done. No worries, if you don’t have your phone at the time of needing to warm a bottle, all you do is press the long thin button on the warming puck. When done warming, 5 red lights will blink. Its that simple! It’s also compact enough it all fits right into my diaper bag or breastfeeding bag. As a first time mama and a serious over packer, everything needed to warm bottles being able to fit into bags that I’m already using and taking with us, is 10/10. Let’s talk about the looks of it all. The color of the bottles, dome and all are so ascetically pleasing, all the way down to the packaging! From the time I opened the box I knew that this product was taken serious and with parents in mind, and it was all so luxurious and pretty! Everything in the packaging had its own place and ensured nothing was to get damaged. Thank goodness beings it cost $400! Set up was super easy! All you have to do is unbox everything, charge the warming puck, download the app, bluetooth your phone to the app and start warming, of course after you wash and prepare a bottle. No worries though, when you download the app, it walks you through step by step of exactly what to do. We all know how technology can be and Bluetoothing things can be a real pain in the neck, however, this was quick and easy, with no frustration at all. At this time I have not one bad thing to say about the Ember Bottle Warming System. With the quality as well as the overall awesomeness that this bottle warming system exudes, I’m not sure I ever will. In my honest opinion, it is worth every penny and you will not be dissatisfied or disappointed! This bottle warming system is a total game changer and has revolutionized bottle warming for us parents! Don’t walk to the store, RUN, you need this in your life! Signed, a very happy mama and baby!

Ember makes some really interesting products. Self heating coffee mugs and now a self heating baby bottle. Heating milk has always been a slow and tedious process to make sure we heat the milk to just the right temp to get it warm but not damage the milk or burn our babies mouth. Thats why we were very interested to see how this self heating baby bottle actually works. The whole thing is fairly straight forward, the bottle connects to a little puck that can be charged and then heat your bottle to room temp so it's perfect for your baby. In practice it works pretty well. I charged the puck up and when I was ready I connected the bottle and pressed the button to warm the milk. In no time I had perfect temperature milk. Dead simple. The puck itself can be left plugged in or used on the go.it works great for getting milk heated while out and about. The puck holds enough charge for a few heating cycles so plenty of time. Another plus for using on the go is the insulated cover that will keep the milk cold for several hours, making it again perfect for a trip out. The bottle also comes with several nipples and attachments for other brand nipes as well so you can use whatever your baby likes. Overall, while very expensive, this is a very cool product that adds a ton of convenience for heating milk on the go.

In all honesty, if I read about this before I had a child, I would think it was just an unnecessary accessory. Everything has to be a smart system. After my newborn, I get it. Really get it. You simply don't have time to think and anything that gives a shortcut or cuts out time/decision-making is really appreciated. Unboxing is very easy. The system itself is simple enough. There's a base to which the bottle and dome attach. You charge up the puck and the charge level is shown by LED lights in the base. It is very user-friendly which is understandable as you do not want to be fumbling around to heat up some milk. The build quality also seems good but only time will tell. The bottles are not heavy which is a must. Using the app is easy and you can literally start the warmer from anywhere. It takes about 3-4 minutes to heat to body temperature. Clean-up is straightforward. The parts of the bottle are dishwasher safe so just throw them in the dishwasher. Now the Ember baby bottle system is not a necessity for parents but it does make life a whole lot easier. Something to be aware of is that the bottles are small and you only get two. At this price point, it is up to you to determine if the convenience is worth it for you.

The Ember Baby Bottle Smart System is that, a easy to use yet feature packed bany bottle for the easiest travel and night time bottle ever! Once I pulled the bottle, the smart base and all the accessories out of the box, I felt the quality of materials and the solid feel immediately. This made the proce tag seem less "sticker shockish." I made sure to instantly start charging the base so I can get the first use right away. I made sure to clean the bottle thoroughly but there was no unusual oils or smell. After setting up an account and connecting the base to the app, the fun starts with learming about tracking feedings, down to how much your baby drinks. The bix also included multiple nipples for different age kids, along with adapters for most common nipples available at any corner store. The box also includes a thermal dome cover which does very well at holding the bottle to body temp for a long time. The bottle heats up very quickly yet not too fast that it burns the formula, just nice body temp formula or heated breast milk without microwaves or a stove. Have a day trip? You have 2 heat cycles before you need to plug it in, luckily, we have many ways to charge in both our cars so we can keep it charged up. After a solid week with this bottle, we are super happy with it and is saving us time and the baby always gets perfect temp formula for her sensitive tummy. She also LOVES the Ember nipples, we are having an issue with her taking others now so we have to order extra nipples and an extra bottle. She is 3 months old and the shape if the bottle she is easily holding onto it while i support it with one hand as well, it seems balanced for her. Being able to track her feesing is one of the main reasons for wanting this bottle. She was born with a health issue and we have to track her feedings to a T for the mesications to work properly, this makes life so much easier. Thanks Ember for a great bottle, the crazy part is we named her Ember, its one of the reasons we chose the bottle when we could.

    Fresh and warm milk anywhere

This is probably one of the most innovative baby items this year. On our 4th infant in the past decade, we've seen it all and we've managed how to figure things out depending on the situation-- sure breastmilk can be placed in a cooler, sure you can put a bottle in lukewarm water (or even use a sous vide for controlled temperature). These are life hacks. But when you have an option like this Ember baby bottle warmer, it makes things so much easier. If I need to step out quickly, but we know it will hit feeding time-- and the milk is stil in the fridge? I don't have to whip out the little cooler, fill it with an ice pack and go-- then when it's feeding time, the milk is still cold. I don't carry a bowl of hot water anywhere to put the bottle in. Now I am forced to feed the little one with cold milk. This is where this Ember baby bottle comes in very handy. In the week I had it, it is very convenient to bring this bottle to his siblings' soccer game and have the convenience of cooled-fresh-milk-but-warm-when-needed right in the middle of a game. I am sure it is useful for any similar situation. The charger was good for at least 2 feedings. Although it is another added thing to charge, I usually just need the baby bottle for weekends and walks in between feedings. So battery capacity is not much of an issue-- I just need to make sure charging is part of the baby routine. Another thing to mention is this includes multiple nipple options, so I can easily switch out the nipples in a few months as the little ones grows. Well, best part is the bottle with the cover, easily slips into the diaper bag pocket and is nicely designed that it has sparked interest from a couple of moms. I know it is not a must-have, but once I used it, I did not know much I "needed" it. It simply makes feedings very convenient to pass on such a great innovation.

As a mom of five, with my previous children, warming milk in a bottle was always a hassel because I could never get it perfectly right. After using the Ember self warming bottle system, i am in love with it! The Ember self warming bottle system came with two 6 oz bottles, two stage one nipples and two stage two nipples! At first i was afraid my little one wouldnt take those nipples but i was wrong. She instantly latched to the nipples and was able to get milk out with ease. What i love about this system is that it also came with two attachments that you can use for a dr. Browns nipple or Avent nipple, in case your little one doesnt like the regular Ember nipple. For me that was a big deal that other nipples were able to be used with it for what best suited my little one. The Smart warming pack is the perfect soze for home or on the go. It fots perfectly in my diaper bag and even my purse. It can be used twoce once fully charged which gives me a good amount of time because normally when we are out of the home two bottles is what i need to bring alomg with us. It is super easy to use and takes just a few minutes to warm up your baby bottle. What i love most is that the temperature is perfect everytime! I dont overheat bottles anymore and have to waste formula for being too hot. It also comes with a insulating thermal dome that keeps the bottle cool for up to 4 hours. Overall i love the Ember self warming bottle because of its ease of use, convenience for on the go, and how it creates a perfect body temperature body every time i use it! No more overheated bottles for me or checking the milk using my wrist!

Ember baby bottle system, I wish this was around when I had my older kids, I babysit for for sister who has a 2 month old she already went out and bought one she loves it so much. It comes with 2 bottles, 6 nipples 2 of each for 0 months and older, 3 months and older & 6 months and older. Two nipple adapters one each For use with Dr. Browns & one for Avent. A charging puck, bottle dome cover that’s insulated to keep bottle cool until time to warm it up. It’s not to big I think the whole system put together is comparable to the size of a 32 once slim water bottle fits perfectly in the diaper bag doesn’t take up much room. And a power adapter to charge the warming puck it says it lasts for 2 bottle warmings but I got almost 4 cause the baby doesn’t like his milk to warm so I use it more to get the chill out slightly. Make sure you get the Ember app! So definitely worth it even though you don’t have to you can still use the warmer with out it with a push of the button. But the app has so much more, you can use it to remotely warm the bottle, keep track of feeding, even breast feeding which of course my sister loves. Only a couple cons for the app I couldn’t figure out how to change feeding data, but did figure out that it doesn’t let you which it really should and also doesn’t tell you the temperature the bottle is heated up to so I just kinda messed with it until I figured out how long to let it heat up that my nephew liked & I set a times. Other then that this bottle warmer has been awesome!

    Best Use for Ember Yet

The Ember Baby Bottle System is a total game-changer for parents on the go or for Dad's staying at home with the their kids when their wife is at work. My wife has breastfed all of our babies, but once she's off maternity leave, that means Dad has to watch the kids and make sure they are fed. We freeze breastmilk and while its easy enough to warm up, this Ember system ensures the milk is at perfect body temperatures. Also, near the end of the first year, my wife didn't produce enough milk to continue to pump and breastfeed, so we would use baby formula, and this Ember system is great for getting formula up to temp quickly and accurately as well. I've had Ember coffee cups in the past and they are nice products, but they are really hard on the batteries of the warming mug bc I like my coffee around 160F. Since these only need to get to body temps around 98F, warm up time is much faster and it also allows for multiple warmings (two) on the same charge. I love how this system has 2 bottles so you can have bottles ready to go and then wash and re-use one if needed. I'll be looking into getting 1 or 2 more bottles since we typically go through 3 major feedings through the day. The bottles and nipples are also dishwasher safe (top rack) so that's a huge bonus. Overall I think Ember has really found something with this Bottle System, I only wish it had come out sooner so my two older children could've benefitted from it!

This system helps keep the bottle a perfect temperature for the baby and to ensure it is never unsafe by getting too hot. The smart system connects to their app and takes about 5 minutes to get a bottle ready to body temperature. Includes a cover to keep contents cool/cold until ready to use when on the go. Easy to take with you where ever you are and keep the contents and the baby safe. No worry about the milk going bad as you can keep it cool with the cover until you are ready. PROS - Ember technology, innovation, and execution of products! - Safety first for baby - Keeps milk cold when unneeded - Heats to the perfect body temp when needed in about 5 minutes! - Easy to use - App is easy to use and understand CONS - A bit pricy, but worth the extra in the long run!

Ember is the same company that developed the coffee mug that helps to keep coffee at the temperature you desire. That was certainly impressive but this, this is even better. You can use either formula or breast milk in the bottles just like you would any other normal ones. Once you fill them, you can keep the liquid cool until you’re ready for a feeding as it fits into an insulated cover. Once ready, you press the button on the warming puck and within five minutes, the liquid is heated to body temperature through and through. Just like any other bottle, it doesn’t hurt to shake it up but the system is designed to ensure that there are no spots that are hotter than others. To accompany the bottle system, there is an app that can be used to keep track of everything such as feedings using the bottles, how much in total the baby has had and while breastfeeding, manual entries can also be added. The app can control the warming process, stop it if necessary as well as notify you when it is ready. You can set it up for multiple babies and will also give you some tips and tricks that you may not already know about. Additionally, the app is used to update firmware of the pucks themselves so you can ensure everything is current. Overall, this is a great product and I think parents of all types would love it. Yes it is a bit pricey but there are many conveniences and knowing precisely what your baby is eating is very important.

When it comes to baby bottles, it doesn't seem like much has changed in decades. Sure there's different shapes and nipples and ways to prevent colic and other things, but the idea of the bottle is very much the same today as it has been for many years. It's hard to innovate on a product like this. That's what is so interesting about the Ember system. Without fail everyone needs to transport milk, heat or cool it, and just have it be easy without cleaning being a hassle, warming being a hassle, anything being a hassle, because it's already so much work just being a new mom. This is where this helps... To start, the packaging is super nice, everything is well packaged in an unassuming white box that doesn't need to be more than it is. It comes with 2 bottles, an insulated top, a warming bottom, some nipples and the power cord. It doesn't seem like much although it does have adapters that work with Dr Brown's nipples and Philips Avent nipples, so that helps a bit. Setup is easy, thankfully. The app allows you to do things like track amount of milk drank, baby weight, even warm the bottle from another room if needed. The milk does not get 'hot', which I've found is a challenge with some bottle warmers, that it can get too hot, this comes nicely to body temp an keeps it there. It's very straightforward and easy to use. Cleanup is simple, there's not tons of pieces, everything is dishwasher top-rack safe, and really what it comes down to is what I've already mentioned about ease... There's just nothing complicated here and it's really a delight. When pumps need a rocket scientist to take them apart, clean them and put them back together, having something as simple as this that just 'works' is a breath of fresh air. All in all this thing is amazing. It's easy to use and I'd happily recommend it.

Awesome Idea But Some Usability Issues

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The Ember baby bottle system consists of three parts. One, a 6oz baby bottle capable of wireless heating (seems inductive) to "body temperature". Two, the puck that plugs into AC power and actually does the warming. And three, an insulating "dome" that can help keep a warmed bottle warm. This may sound simple, but being able to warm milk or formula in the bottle to the correct temperature quickly, is one of the holy grails of parenthood. Ember's solution is thus pretty revolutionary though being on the cutting edge means there are some pretty major tradeoffs. Starting with the bottle, it's about the size/height of a 12oz bottle while having half that capacity. You'd lose space to the heating circuitry. That part is covered in plastic and while Ember has put in some effort to have it look modern and non-descript, it is a bit ugly. Maybe a more matte grey would have been better. The extra size works well for feeding a 9 month old, but I can see it being slightly unwieldy with infants at the lower end of the age range. Warm up takes about 5 minutes which is longer than I can achieve using a kettle and bowl to warm up a frozen bag but incredibly convenient and fast away from home. However, that's by comparison to warming formula in the ember. Dealing with frozen milk however requires more planning as you essentially need to defrost it first to get into the bottle. And essentially, once defrosted, you really want to warm it and keep it warm so you can't let it cool in the bottle for later warming. Warmth was generally on-point. I thought I'd be bothered by not being able to actually set a desired temperature, but the output seemed pretty consistent so I'm no longer worried about it. The warming puck actually contains a battery that's good for two warming sessions. As we're mostly frozen milk and supplementing with formula, I'd typically defrost, warm up milk in the bottle, then place in the thermal insulating dome with the plan that I'd use the milk within a couple hours. If I need to use milk immediately and I'm already going through the process to defrost milk, it's faster to continue along to warm it with the hot water without using ember at all. If the time stretches longer than 3 hours, I'd then use the puck battery, assuming I left home, to get the milk back up to body temp to extend the clock on use. Given that this doesn't solve the problem of defrosting frozen milk, usually, when away from home, the ember would be used for just one bottle, two if formula is used for the second feeding. Cleaning is pretty straightforward. While ember is dishwasher safe, I handle it the same as all my other infant milk related bottles, pumps, etc - hand wash in soapy water then air dry. There's also an app - yes, an app. It lets you start warming a bottle remotely - a currently almost pointless feature and has essentially a diary mode where you can manually enter details about feeding. That you have to initiate all of that yourself also reduces the utility of that feature. Maybe if you'd started from the beginning with Ember it would make sense, but if you're already tracking feedings, this adds enough friction that you won't switch to the app. If the app did something smart with the bottle - like weight the bottle to estimate milk when on the base and automatically fill in feeding information, that would be a lot more useful. And this is where we get into the tradeoffs. A pretty major one is the size, at 6oz, this is not enough for my 9 month old. It is convenient for sure, but the size limits it to the case of I'm going for a 30-60 minute walk where I know I'll need to handle one feeding in the middle or having a bottle that I can prep and keep warm to be immediately available when the little one gets hungry which buys the other parent time to warm up more milk using the pre-ember method. The fact that handling frozen milk involves almost the same amount of work with or without ember is also a pretty big let down. If you're exclusively mom's/human milk, then the logistics of handling that milk (you should only freeze and warm once) reduces the convenience of ember. That plus the size means it's not actually a good solution for you away from home and it takes some planning for the optimized cases where ember actually speeds things up at home. I think this could be mitigated if ember provided more analytics on it's own - then there's a reason to go through the extra effort. But as I mark the milk bags already with volume before freezing, maybe not. I'm giving a three star review and I actually feel bad doing so because this really is cool technology and finally, someone is tackling this problem. And I know this will be very convenient, time saving, and useful for many families. But, there are some very real downsides that someone considering this needs to take into account - bottle volume and dealing with frozen milk being the big ones. Hopefully, this does well enough for ember to improve upon these issues in the next iteration.

This bottle warmer system has a lot of technology in it and is very simple to use. Out of the box you get the charger, 2 bottles, 1 insulating cover, and 1 puck which is what is used to warm the bottles. The puck can warm the bottle via battery power only but warming one time kills about 20-25% of the battery in my experience so you only get 4 uses out of it max before it has to be charged again. Nevertheless, the puck heats up the bottle and contents of the bottle to a warm temperature enough for my nephew to enjoy it. Aside from the bottle system itself, there is a companion app that is used to start the bottle warmer. It pairs to your phone via Bluetooth and the set up process is relatively quick. You can also create your babies profile and get recommendations on feeding and get the babies own personalized feeding schedule. If your baby absolutely needs warm milk and that's all you're after this bottle warmer system might be too much but if you're looking for more organization, a surefire way to warm milk directly from the bottle, and have a little bit to spend, I highly recommend it.
