I thought of this as rather frivolous - it was just a way to give myself something fun in the midst of the pandemic. However, it really does work and I use it almost every time I make coffee. I tend to get distracted and often end up throwing out coffee. With this, it's there, warm and waiting for me, when I get back to it. I do leave it on its charging coaster all the time if there is coffee in it. It has to have special handling - no dishwasher for it - and I wish it held a little more coffee. It only holds about 2 official coffee cups worth, not a big mug's worth

Great coffee mug for my WFH mother! No more having to get up and go to the microwave to keep reheating. Keeps it hot and fairly fresh vs that reheated coffee taste

I purchased a second Ember device for home because I liked the first one I got for the office so much. It’s simple to use and I look forward to slowly sipping my coffee. The only downside is that I should’ve splurged on the larger size. I tend to drink my coffee black but I do like to add milk to my tea. I don’t think the smaller size is adequate for drink and add-ins.

For a slow cafe drinker like me this cup is amazing, I follow an IG account and realized she had one of these and got me curious to wanted to try, Keeps my cafe warm without having to reheat and that I like a lot.

i bought this for my sister for christmas and she loves it. shes a big time coffee drinker (as am i, though im more of an iced coffee drinker and rarely drink hot coffee) and she prefers hot coffee, so i thought this would be perfect for her. once she opened it she was so happy because she had apparently been wanting one! this mug does so much, it allows you to choose your desired temperature and itll keep your beverage at that temp. you can use the included coaster to keep it charged/operating or use the internal battery in the mug itself. there is also an app you can download to fully customize and control every option with, which i recommend for all users of this mug because the level of control and customization with the app is great! but the app isnt needed to operate and use this, and you can still choose your temperature and stuff without the app! if you're unsure of what gift to buy someone and they are a coffee or tea drinker, definitely buy them this! they will love it!!

The quality is extremely good and the app is easy to follow. I’ve had no issues so far and have owned it for a year. It’s easy to clean and move around. Battery life is fantastic. It’s good for at home or bringing with you to work. Highly suggest purchasing if you’re a slow coffee drinker like myself.

I got this mug because my office is chilly and my desk is right next to a cold air vent, which always makes my hot drinks cold really fast. This mug keeps every last drop at the perfect temperature! I knocked off one star because setup was a bit if a hassle, the mug wouldn't stay connected to my phone (bluetooth). I had to reset the mug and reinstall the app several times. But once you set the temperature you want you don't need the app anymore.

Perhaps I am not understanding the directions correctly but this is not working reliably. It is sometimes tempermental in the length of time my coffee remains at drinking temperatur especially when after being charged it sits on the holder.for several hours. It shuts off even though the light shows its on. Dont like the idea that it takes 1 1/2 hours to fully charge. Cannot be used for my first cup of coffee in the morning and dont want to leave it overnight charging. Will be calling Customer Support before returning.

I have Used it everyday for over a year before I decided to write a review. Expensive but after long time use decided it was well worth the cost and will replace my Ember if and when it stops working.

Bought as a gift and the recipient LOVES it. They didn't really understand what it was until I explained it and now it is the crown jewel of their desk. The recipient uses it to warm coffee that has been in the pot too long. Uses the app to let him know that it is at temperature. Keeps the coffee tasting fresh all day unlike being nuked over and over again. No idea about the battery life as it stays on the coaster most of the time. Had to be reset once so far.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. He loves it and uses it everyday. It's so convenient sitting on his desk and keeping his coffee at the perfect temperature all the time. And it washes really well too. You don't need to scrub it. Just rinse and it's clean again. And maybe because it's black, I don't see any coffee stain. I may consider buy one for myself.

I am impressed with the app. Has several presets of heating. You can save your own settings too. Choose color of led for identification. But more importantly, it keeps your drink to the desired temp. Use this with the coaster charger and you have yourself a hot brew throughout the day. I should have purchased this sooner. Heating drains the battery a lot. You need to use the coaster charger to keep it up and running. No biggie. It still is a coaster after all, blends well. Note: you might want to get the bigger cup.

I really do love this little mug because I’m really bad a making a cup of coffee or tea and forgetting about it until it’s cold. I can set my perfect temp and it keeps it there. My only complaints are the cup is smaller than I like and it doesn’t charge with something in it if you put it on the charger.

Bought this for my wife as a birthday gift and she loves it! She tends to abandon her coffee around the house when it gets cold on her, since gifting her this mug, no stranded coffees! She loves that she can adjust the temperature using her phone unlike some other coffee warmers we’ve purchased before. 10/10 would recommend.

I bought this for my wife, we have small kids and coffee is always cold, she loves it and keeps her from using the microwave every 2 minutes.

The cup does a fine job at keeping my coffee at the specified temp but the app does not stay connected. Its perfect for me since i only use it for coffee but if you want to change temps for tea or something else you'll need to re-pair the bluetooth every single time. I'm using a pixel 6 pro.

Amazing cup. It keeps it perfectly warm and last the whole time I'm drinking it. Very easy to clean and have ready for every cup of coffee I have. I'm already planning to by one as a gift for my spouse.
