This is my second ember mug, and it's all i use. It keeps temperature for well over an hour and i can use it several times a day as it charges pretty fast! The sturdy, weighted bottom and the width of the handle make it the perfect cup

This is an amazing coffe cup, a bit pricey but so well worth the money.

Very happy with my purchase of the Ember coffee mug. They were easy to lacate within the Best Buy store and the employees were extremely helpful in explaing how it worked and its features.

Mug works very well and easy to use. However, the coaster stopped working after five months. It's a common issue for one or both pins in the coaster to get stuck preventing the mug from being charged. I contacted Ember support to get a free replacement, but paying $6 for shipping.

Bought this for my Woman. She just loves sipping on hot coffee for an hour straight and not talking to me. Best purchase for myself.

I bought this mug because it was well known as a good product but unfortunately half a year later the base plate smelled burnt and the pins melted the plastic base. The mug contact rings have burn marks as it obviously had an issue charging. I sent in a warranty ticket to support and it has been a month without a response. I would hestitate any buyer as support seems to be non-existent.

Great size and keeps the coffee hot while I read the paper or get distracted doing something else. A great buy!

Let me start off by saying my wife loved my mug so much, I had to go and buy her her own mug so we have a “couple set”. It does what it’s supposed to do, and it looks nice doing it. So why the bad rating? Unacceptable warranty and customer service experience. I had one of my mugs stop charging, and after lots of head scratching I figured out one of the charging pins on the charging pad was depressed and wouldn’t pop back out. I tried everything, to no avail. No biggie, I’ve only had it for a year, and still have lots of warranty left. Right? Well, I wouldn’t really know because Ember support is now going on 4 weeks to address a super simple thing. In the meantime, I’m without a working charging pad, and no idea when/if I will get things resolved.

Great for any hot beverage, you can adjust the heat using the Ember app. Great for steeping tea, no need for a cover

The mug itself is great, but the charging coaster is unreasonably prone to breaking. The mug charges via contact pins, and those pins break easily over time - averaging 1 coaster per year (I have had 2 coasters die on my in 2 years, a family has had 1 die after 1 year.)

Purchased The mug 16 Nov 23 it's now 18 July 24 and the problems are stacking up first the coating inside the cup is pealing up and now the charging pin on the coaster will not spring back and make contact with the bottom of the cup its just loose so the cup will not charge reached out to the company twice and have not hear a word when it did work it would keep beverage max 145* F but would not heat something room temperature even on the charger base

Gift for my wife. She works from home. Uses it all the time.

My new coffee cup at my office works great. Dependable in the app is pretty cool too.

I've had issues with it keeping beverages at set temp where it falls below 130 degrees when it's set to keep temp at 145 degrees. That's when I start with a beverage at 165 and with the mug fully charged and rest the mug on its charging base. Tech support is bad - it took 5 days to get a response on my problem and they only provided me a FAQ response which wasn't any help. The app is horrible as the bluetooth on the mug constantly stops working and has to be re-paired to work. When the mug has been sitting on the charging base overnight, there is a ring on condensation that forms which can't be good for the pins that charge the mug. Likely the cause of the problems people report with the pins not working properly after awhile. An expensive novelty toy that works intermittently that probably won't last a year.

Despite being purposefully careful to only use a plastic spoon to stir my coffee, the coating in the bottom started coming off. In my mind, that makes this a short lived product that is arguably the most expensive of it’s kind. Plus I now have to wonder if I drank that coating along with my coffee. This is sad, because other than this show stopping quality issue, this would be a great product.

I got this for my husband and he really likes it. It keeps the temperature perfectly, and if he gets busy doing something, the coffee stays hot. He is very pleased.

So far I’m not impressed with the quality of the mugs or customer service. My first mug the finish on the outside of the mug started to bubble. Customer service took a long time to respond between emails. My second mug started damaging the charging coaster and again trying to deal with customer service they take a long time to get back to you and don’t seem to pay attention to what the problem is . I explained that my mug was causing damage to the charging coaster and there response was to replace the coaster . I had to explain to them again that the mug is what is causing the damage and to replace one and not the other the damage would just reoccur.Not sure I would recommend this product.
