The mug is a nice design and weighs about the same as a regular coffee mug. Coffee does stay hot but if you dont pick up the mug for 2 hours it will shut off. Overall its a great product.

I was always on the fence about getting this mug but after getting one I do not regret it. There are plenty of times I was unable to finish my morning latte and I would just end up drinking it cold or like warm. But after getting this mug I can now enjoy it warm all the way until the end.

Bought this as a gift for a family member for Christmas, and the recipient really likes it for their tea. It is very well insulated on the outside so you don't burn your hands holding the mug like some others. Only complaint is that the battery life isn't the longest, but I saw that the lid you can buy may extend it to a certain extent, so that may be worth a try.

Love this mug. Keeps my coffee hot for hours even if I forget to drink it right away. Easy to clean.

Excellent piece of technology. I use mine everyday. The battery doesn’t last too long, maybe 2-3 hrs off the charger. But does what it needs to do and satisfying at that. Works well and very simple.

Serious Quality & Safety Concerns – Disappointed with Ember Mug I purchased an Ember Mug and treated it with great care, but was very disappointed to find that the interior coating began chipping and flaking off over time. This raises serious concerns for me about potential toxin exposure, as I may have unknowingly ingested harmful materials. I reached out to the company with hopes of a responsible resolution—specifically requesting a replacement mug made of stainless steel or another safer, more durable material. Instead, I was offered only $32 toward the purchase of another expensive mug that could very well chip again. This response felt inadequate and dismissive, especially given the potential health risks. TOXIN ALERT – I urge others to think twice before purchasing an Ember Mug until these issues are properly addressed. Product safety and customer health should be the top priority.

Had a few issues getting setup with the app but once that was settled it works great and keeps coffee hot. Very expensive.

Love the Ember! My coffee stays at my desired temperature the whole day! It is a little pricey but I think well worth it. I wish more colors were available besides black and white.

This is our fourth ember mug in our collection and we use them daily. The battery lasts a decent amount and being able to set the exact temperature really puts the icing on the cake.

I was initially amazed, and embarrassed, that I spent this much for coffee mugs. But after using them daily we are hooked. At breakfast, even with delays while studying the newspaper or interrupted by a phone call, we can pick up our mugs and the coffee is still the correct temperature. Luxury? Sure. Cheaper to just take a glass mug to the microwave? Sure. But this is so much better! (By the way, 30 seconds in a microwave changes the flavor of coffee by extracting more chemicals from the "fines" which get through the filter)

Keeps everything warm. Does what it says it does. It’s good for one cup, so kind of sucks to refill if you drink a lot.

This is at once, one of the best and worst products I've ever had. The concept is 100%. I can't tell you how glorious it is to have the first sip of coffee be just as hot as the last sip. Brilliant! I love it so much. The mug itself is a solid 90%. It feels good in the hand. The handle is decent. The battery life is not bad, and is greatly improved by the accessory lid which is an additional fifteen bucks or so. However. The coaster is an absolute cluster of a design fail from start to finish. They break like crazy, and cannot be easily repaired. Without a coaster, you cannot charge the mug, making the entire thing useless. They do warranty it, but dime to a dollar, your coaster will break 2 weeks past the warranty period. So, in order to charge your very expensive coffee mug, you will need to lay out an extra forty bucks to buy another coaster every so often. So an expensive mug becomes a VERY expensive mug, because of this horrible design by Ember.

Christmas present for the Wife. She has been wanting one for a pretty long time. Seen a few reviews showing that the interior coating coming off and my only guess for the reason for that is that maybe they used a frother. Anyways this only gets hand washed and it is performing like an absolute champ. Do wish that they had a 20oz that was not the tumbler though.

I got this for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! I’m not a big coffee drinker like her but tried hers out. You don’t realize how good a coffee is when it’s the perfect temperature though out the cup. I’ve since had to buy my own Ember mug. The wife says it was the best gift I had ever got her. Not sure how to take that seeing that it was just a coffee mug. But I know she is happy and me not so much. How am I ever gonna top this mug now?

I LOVE this mug. It is a wonderful product that provides and keeps my Americano hot. HOWEVER! As much as I LOVE this mug there is a huge flaw of this mug. The battery life. The purpose of this mug is to keep my coffee hot for a long period of time… but when the battery life of my mug is like an hour, it doesn’t last as long as it should. Basically you have to keep it on the charger otherwise it will die quickly and you just have a $100 mug. So in conclusion. AWESOME product that when it has battery, works amazing. It just doesn’t last long enough on a charge!
