Great cup and design. Functions as advertised. However beware that the cup coating may begin peeling. Contacted Ember and is only warrated for 1 year. They sent a cup ONLY after a year that cost almost the same amount as a new set. It did NOT come with a charging plate. When it peels, i recommend buying another. I got a year in a half out of it before it started peeling.

Don’t waste your $ on this over hyped heated mug. Gimmick and nothing more. I’m glad I didn’t spend any $. I selected it for my 20th anniversary gift with employer. Honestly, I’ve been debating for quite awhile, but the high cost was always an issue. Battery life is ridiculous. I get 1 cup of coffee and battery life drops 7%. In fact, it drops 10% when removing it from the base after a full night of charging. It may be the app is not accurately reporting the correct battery levels? My only solution is charging between refills. As for the notifications? What notifications? I have them on but receive no notifications. Plus, device will sometimes not connect to the app and a reset is required including removing device from bluetooth. Disappointing to say the least.

Purchased as a gift. Keeps coffee hot for almost three uses and only takes 2 hours to charge. Convenient to adjust the temperature from your phone. Will likely purchase the travel lid.

I bought it in my trip to Walt Disney World, I’m from Argentina. It’s totally amazing!!! I love my ember mug!

I wish it came with a lid, luckily I had one that fits. I feel like it keeps my drinks warm for eaily 3-4 hrs

Keeps coffee at perfect temperature gor slow sipping. One charge will last enough time for approx 2 drinks.

the packaging was great and the products works well just wish i was able to make the temperature higher.

The first one we purchased holds the power so much longer than this one - not too happy that it drains quickly.

How can you justify spending so much on a mug? What’s wrong with us, are we brainwashed? Are we so lazy that we can’t even use the microwave to reheat our drinks anymore? We need help, we don’t need useless gadgets. The basic idea with this mug is outrageous. Battery holds power for about 45 minutes, I’m constantly recharging this thing, i have received it as a gift, it’s more of a gimmick

Had oroblems with the original purchase. Called support and was promised a new mug for no charge. Checked my account a few weeks later and found i had been charged $99 for mug only. Replacement mug worked three times. Nothing worked after that. Rarely charges. NEVER heats. Loses BT connection 99 times out of 100. When it DOES connect, it does not return to previous temp in spite of what support says. This Product is far from ready for retail and desperately needs new engineers and lots of testing. Until then, my advice is save your money and avoid the frustration and expense of a failed concept.

I purchased this mug for my daughter as a Christmas gift and she loves it.

Needed it quickly and was able to get it quickly. It was just as described.

It works for a while. Then the battery doesn't last as long. Next, the charging coaster will stop working, likely from 1 of the two charging pins not springing back up to make contact with the cup. $40 just for a new charging coaster. $200 dollar cup into the garbage. Just get a good thermal mug. Save yourself some money.

I gave this mug as a gift and they loved it! Now I want one.

I received this as a gift, which was really thoughtful! Unfortunately, the mug is very under-powered and is unable to keep coffee at the temperature I like it, which is just short of piping hot. The maximum temperature setting for the mug is 145 degrees, which is 20 degrees below the temperature that my coffee maker will hold it at. So the coffee cools down in this mug at about the same rate as a regular mug, and 145 degrees is on the borderline between warm and hot. On top of that, the battery runs out of power after about an hour off the base, If you like your coffee hot (not almost hot), then stick with a regular mug that you can get piping hot with a 1 minute microwave blast.

Love it, works just as advertised and is a very nice heavy mug.

My mom said she loved this mug that I bought her for Mother’s Day! I was so excited to Treat myself to something nice! Instead I wasted my money. Barely stays charged - Turns off after if I am not in the app

Company ruined product by updating app to one that doesn’t work. Months later it still doesn’t work right. Check App/Play Store reviews and sort by recent before buying this.
