This Emerald hot plate is excellent! It is lightweight but sturdy, heats up very quickly and makes a little click when you turn it to “off”, so you know it’s been turned off. That’s good! It is also an attractive appliance . The electric coils are silver not black! Works perfectly. And it’s an amazing price. A true bargain! I highly recommend this product!

great value for the price..works well, takes up very little space, and is wonderful for camping also..i bought quite a few to donate to some homeless shelters in the area ...they are outfitting some new tiny homes ....this will serve for many uses

As a homeowner who lived through a snowstorm last year where we lost water, this device came in handy boiling snow in the bathroom, so people could be washed. As an RV owner, this was so lightweight and handy when the propane ran out for the stove. It heats up fairly fast, and I think it can get hotter than some of its competitors. It may not last forever, but it has been wonderful to have around, and for less than $20, it has been superb.

This little guy right here, does exactly what it's intended for. It's small, lightweight, regardless of being corded for indoor use, it's ready to throw in the travel pack since generator, jumpbox & inverters are regularly available, it beats starting a fire just to boil some water (& cook anything else), on & off in a snap, no waiting, no seared flesh or clothing, no ashes & heat variance control. WELL WORTH IT'S PRICE I MUST SAY.

I was skeptical when I ordered this. I was worried about the safety and performance of this little burner. Now that I’ve used it several times I have no concerns. It gets hot pretty quickly and keeps a steady temperature as expected. It’s very small and easy to put away (once it’s completely cooled off). I even used it on a plastic folding table and the tabletop remained room temp. You can’t beat it for the price.

I have a full propane stove/oven in my RV but this was a great deal of the day purchase to have on hand just in case I need a backup cooking source or I simply don't want to use my propane. This little burner gets HHOOOOTT all over, top, bottom sides... STAYS HOT for at least 15 minutes after use so make sure you have ample space around it when you're using it. It does what it is designed to do and it can handle my baby cast iron 4C dutch oven no problem! Great for tea kettle or little 6" frying pan as well.

I buy these when on sale to give to those without stoves (I volunteer with St. Vincent De Paul) so they have something to cook on while saving or looking for a stove. They fit on a small counter which is about all some apartments have. Don’t know how long they last but work well for their intended purpose.

Exactly what I wanted. Heats up quickly and is very portable. What a lifesaver since I am on a backorder with a new range.

Does what it is meant for. Heats up very fast so the cooking process is quicker. Perfect for small spaces. The only problem I have is I am not sure how to properly clean between the corners

This was an awesome price and I wanted something small that could be plugged into a generator and wouldn’t draw too much current if the power went out.

For the money, you can't beat this little burner. It works! Even if it breaks, you're only out $6.50. My mother loves it, so it must be good.
