Low power and uneven base

It turns off very frequently. It took me sooo long to even get the water to boil. It is probably good to just heat a few things, but not for cooking. The coil base was also not flat, which let to utensils tilting.

Buyer beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I apologize for not writing this review four years ago, but unfortunately, a lot has happened since Covid. I owe this to loyal customers...this single burner is cheaply made, and it doesn't heat a pot of water. I mean the whole point of getting a burner is to use at a campsite or to have an extra burner at home but when it doesn't work, it doesn't work. It's the noisiest Appliance I have ever owned. And it doesn't produce enough heat. I actually forgot about it until today, I tried it out again and again a disappointing no. So it's heading into the trash.
