I loved the FOX series and knew I wanted the 1st season so this was a no brainer. Now I can watch the entire season, (all uncut) with no commercial interruptions. The story line was intriguing, the quality of the production was great and all the music videos from each hit song is available to play separately. I started watching 'regular' TV again because of this series. A def pick hit!

I love this show, so glad Best Buy had it available for me to purchase. Can't wait for season two to be available. I will surely be there to buy it.

This is one of the best series in TV now. And the music is great. The work of Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson and Jussie Smollett is the best of this season. Empire is an American musical drama television series created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong which debuted on 2015 on Fox. The show is based in New York and it centers on a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of the company.

Don't believe the hype. In this case believe it. Empire is a fantastic TV drama & once I saw the price for 1st season of Empire for $7.99 on Black Friday. I thought to myself buy this item now. I love Empire & the episodes I have seen are amazing. The music is phenomenal & the acting is superb. There is nothing bad about this show & it just keeps getting better & better.

I absolutely loved watching this show last season and couldn't wait to get the bluray. The best part is - you can select watch all episodes together and when it gets to the end of a disc it will ask you to switch to the next disc and start right up. The screen stays the same waiting for the anticipated start. Best thing when you want to watch marathon style!!!

I bought this Blu-Ray Season 1 on a promotional sale price - but would have bought it either way (just not on blu-ray if not on sale). After opening and seeing the first couple episodes - nothing but amazing graphics! The purchase would not have given Empire justice if not bought on Blu-Ray. Enjoy :) *will answer questions

I could not resist buying this from Best Buy; was the least expensive. I heard EMPIRE was a great show. I love Taraji anyway. In addition, Best Buy is THE BEST BUY. Have not had the opportunity to watch it yet, due to holidays, was busy, but I will. But thanks to Best Buy's pricing, I now own it! Happy New Year!

This show is well put together, good filming, excellent characters and actors. You will think you know what's going to happen next however, you will be pleasantly surprised as to what the writer comes up with! It is worth the time to watch and money to buy. It is off the chain!!!

This is the best tv series dvd I have ever purchased! Immediately, you will be hooked after watching the first episode. The suspense and drama within the Lyons family is remarkable! The beats by Timbaland is killer! You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

I'm so excited to start the series Empire!! I saw a couple episodes of season 2 on television and they have me hooked so I needed to see season 1 before I go any further. Best Buy was the best price on this product on Black Friday....BEST BUY is the BEST!!

I've seen Season 1 and 2. This is the beginning, the foundation and the best. If you haven't seen Empire, look at Season One and get hooked. Season 2 isn't nearly as hot as Season One. Only the last two episodes of Season 2 can compare. Get One and sizzle!

This new situation drama on Fox (Channel 5) has taken over that time slot. If you are a fan of music (R&B, Rap, Pop), who'll love the series just for the music. When you open up to the characters, you'll understand why Empire has blown up the way it has.

This could be a collector item for true fans. It is like Scandal for the music industry. It is an addictive series but each episode can still be individually enjoyed Not only would I recommend this to a friend I have already purchased one for a friend.

If you haven't got into Empire yet I highly recommend you start ASAP!! It's a beautiful rollercoaster of family drama with amazing music. Watched this on TV first then bought the season to share with family and friends, because its that good.

what can I say? this is my favorite show. One of the episodes was so masterfully directed and executed that I looked up the director. It was John Singleton, who directed Boyz In The Hood. Best talent and crew have made a genuine phenomenon.

I did not initially watch the 1st season. After seeing the second 2nd season, I had to purchase season one. It had taken time to watch it all, but I love this show even more. I would recommend you watching this fun and drama filled show.

Its more like a freaking movie, Cookie and Terrance...come in full affect, when it comes to working as a union!!!! The show itself, will have you alert and waiting for more. I'll be purchasing season two, very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great tv show. The bluray looks fantastic. I enjoyed every episode. But if I will know early that their is another edition coming up with a cd with all the songs and an extra bluray with the director cut pilot episode. I will wait.

This show is very unique, its like glee but more urban with alot more drama. There's alot of story lines that would grab the attention of all audiences. I recommend this series to anyone who love's watching tv at it's finest.
