    Bought this Emtec Flash Drive because I wanted to try this brand. Generally buy SanDisk but so far seems to work fine. Just started using it and hope it continues to work as SanDisk brand....with no problems!

    The thum drive came right away in a padded envelope in new packaging and was a good price for its memory size. I haven't used it enought to indicate any issues.

    I plugged the drive into a front USB 3.0 port on my new desktop Acer Computer and the computer did NOT recognize it. I then plugged it into a back of computer USB 2.0 port and it worked fine but very inconvenient. I thought all USB 2.0 devices would work in in 3.0 ports just not benefit from higher transfer speed capability. Apparently this is not true. I think the drive maker should tell customers that the drive is NOT compatible with USB 3.0 ports. Had the drive maker warned me of this, I would never have bought the drive.
