I always keep a few of these in my desk drawer for when needed. They always get the job done adequately even though a bit pricey no matter where purchased. BB price is as good as anywhere.

batteries are for window alarms throw out the home and Best Buy was the only location that carried the amount that was needed

My personal experience is that Energizer batteries hold up better in storage and use than the generic batteries. Given how many of my child's toys make use of these, I do wish they were sold in bulk at a discount. Best Buy also sells these under a different SKU and packaging, but the batteries are identical in type and number.

The battery display was messy, unorganized and almost empty. The display identified the the batteries different ID numbers very well.
