    The standard for AA batteries

For the price, good old alkaline batteries can't be beat. Ordinary batteries don't last at all, and you wind up throwing piles of them in the trash. The new wonder-lithium batteries are probably great. But they are so expensive I haven't bought many. Two dollars a battery for penlight (AA) batteries is a bit much. And now I see they have "ultra-lithium" which costs even more. Unless I'm trekking across Alaska I will stick with alkaline cells, and just carry extras. The shelf life on these guys is very good, too.

I tried to buy brand-name batteries because in my experience they tend to last longer than the generic or storebrand batteries. You just need to shop around and buy them when they are on sale. For the cost I have the best luck with Energizer, They’re typically cheaper than Duracell especially if they are on sale and for the most part last about the same length of time.

I purchased these for my XBox One controllers and they drain pretty fast. I went through this slight economy size pack within a matter of a week and a half. Would likely purchase again only on the strength of the fact they are batteries and I mean I have yet to find one that lasts very long in non low-drain devices but I may try out another brand first before writing off all batteries as 'the same'. Overall my purchase was decent and served its purpose...for a time.

Batteries do well as far as lifetime while using a product, but this brand still has problems with leaking batteries when left in a device and sometimes even while still in the package and not expired! Not sure what the problem is, but don't leave them in anything too long or you may be faced with a ruined device.

Best Buy promised 25 points for me to review the Energizer Max batteries. Well, with the disclaimer noted I can say that the batteries are super. The batteries are much better than discount stores branded batteries. Even the + end of the battery has a longer tip. We've had nothing but smooth sailing with these batteries and will buy more when we need to.

    Disappointed

I bought this 18-pack thinking that I would be able to record multitrack recordings for at least 2 months. These Energizer batteries, in this case, hardly gave me a month's worth. They seemed to have had a shorter lifespan than the comparable multipack from the Best Buy boutique brand, Insignia. I was chagrined to see how quickly the Energizers died. What a disappointment to me.

Not much you can say about batteries, they work or they don't. Well, that may be the case with most but I've had the horrible luck of getting the cheap batteries that only have enough power to go a few days before becoming paper weights. After having that happen more than once Energizer - MAX Batteries have become my go to when shopping for batteries for my devices. I haven't had any issues with these at all.

The picture shown for batteries is completely different from what I received. They came in 4 packs which would not make much difference except for they looked like the had been seconds hanging in a flee market for the last five years. Hopefully they still have some shelf life but I can not figure out the expatriation date.

In all my years, I have never had problems with Energizer - MAX Batteries AA. I have purchased cheaper brands at discount stores and found one every now and then being dead. I can't remember when that happened with an Energizer AA. It is what is is, a double-A battery. When you need one for a flashllight (Hurricane Arthur this year), it's good to have it working right. Plug-Go-Works. Plus, it's always great to find them on sale.

I won't use any other battery in my digital camera. I have used these to take 100-150 pictures and then left the camera sitting there for as long as a year only to go back and get 100's of additional pictures. As with any battery I do check for leakage and these have never been a problem. Also with any battery I don't store my devices in extreme hot or cold. So mileage may vary but I can't say enough good things about this product.

I've used different brands of batteries through the years, but I tend to always go back to Energizer. They have a long life in anything I use around my house. Especially this time of year with power outages due to storms. I use them in lanterns, flashlights and battery powered candles.

What can you say about such a basic commodity? I bought these batteries because I didn't need or want a large package to sit on the shelf until they died before I could use them up. Had a simple two pack been available I would have purchased that instead. The batteries work! Only time can tell if they will work as claimed for the period of time claimed. Sorry but THAT is the simple truth!

This is a great introduction to power sources in the pre-2000 years when all you had was to go to the store and pick these up for your many portable devices, such as for your walkman, film camera or even your gameboy. It seemed to work just as well or even better than there earlier counterpart. Highly recommended, I would buy even more of these batteries in the future ... if only most of my devices weren't rechargeable :(

These are legit alkaline AA batteries. If you need to put a battery in something labeled "AA", not "AAA" nor, "C", nor "D", these are the batteries for you. If you need 25 or more AA batteries you will need to buy more then one package. If you need less then 24 you can put the remainder in a drawer and wait! LEGIT AA BOMBBBBBBBBBBBBB

I have a Kodak digital camera which runs on two AA batteries. I purchased these Eveready Energizer Max Batteries at a Best Buy store in northern NJ and inserted two of the batteries into my digital camera. I was able to take many, many pictures before I had to replace the batteries. These batteries have lasted much longer than any other brand of batteries that I have purchased. They are excellent!

I don't really have any brand loyalty between the 2 big battery companies, but Energizer does have a catchier ad campaign, and they're batteries tend to be a smidge cheaper. Otherwise they're just batteries, I know the lithiums do work a lot longer, but I've never been able to find them in proper bulk, so I settle for these. If you just need a few batteries though, I'd say grab lithiums.

No problems in general with Energizer batteries. I would like to point out however, that this Best-Buy location might want to do a better job of rotating stock. These batteries were already a year old (which isn't a problem with Energizers) but all of the batteries offered for sale in this quantity looked a bit battered. One package that I picked up spilled batteries all over the floor. I handed that one to the clerk.

Use these batteries in my computer mouse and keyboard usually, and then in other remotes. They last a good long time. I would however like to have the side bars on the battery that shares if there is still any charge left in them. These were available about 5 years ago and now I cannot find them ANYWHERE! Guess the company found people not buying more when they could check if there was still some charge in them.

I bought these batteries for my child's toys. Everybody knows how one must have a slew of batteries invade your newborns toys suddenly stop working. Best Buy had them immediately and they were easily found throughout the store. They price matched my item and I got the best possible deal. Thank you Best Buy. I spend thousands of dollars most years buying camera gear and Best Buy has been great.
