They're batteries. They work, last longer than the cheap ones, and I think the price was reasonable. I like the 4-pack because I don't like to buy massive amounts of batteries and then have most of them sit around for a long time. And then I get them mixed up and it's a pain. With the 4-pack I go through them quickly enough I don't have a lot lying around or getting wasted.

The Max AAA Energizer batteries were a great purchase. So far they have lasted really good, seems like forever, I haven't had to change them as of yet.
