It works quite well when it's needed and when I want it. I never expected the batteries charged so fast. I had the CHP41US and I never the difference between the 2 of them is amazing on the AA and AAA batteries. I am quite glad I bought this and will be very happy. The D Cell batteries I have had to re-charge went through quite fast also.

The variety of batteries this charger allows one to "re-energize" is what ultimately forced my hand in its purchase. It could have been designed in a more elegant way, but it seems to do its job well. As long as you do not require more than three or four batteries at any given time, you should not have any issues with this product.

I bought this since I wanted something that could charge batteries in all sizes and I don't like the "spacers" for fitting AA batteries in to C and D slots. I do realize that Energizer rechargable batteries use cells only slightly larger than AA in these, they are however less messy to use and I'm using them in clocks and flashlights that are easy to access and I don't mind the need to change them that often. It charges at a reasonable rate and gives good indication of how far it's coming along. If you need a rechargeable that gets the same amount of capacity as an Alkaline C,D, 9V from your battery so you don't need to charge as much go with a Powerex charger and their batteries. If being forced to charge in pairs for AAA or AA bothers you, I have a few devices that use 3 batteries instead of 2, this unit requires it.

I received a trash can for my birthday, which has a battery operated automatic lid. I purchased this to charge the batteries that will power the trash can. I hope to save money on batteries in the long run.

With the spread of Covid 19, we're trying to put an end to the spontaneous trip to the store for safety. Recharging batteries will save us money in the long run and hopefully keep us safe from unnecessary exposure.

This is a good multi-battery charger. The way the batteries load is great compared to others I’ve had in the past. There is a tab to push bach one end, drop the batteries in and release. The charger looks good, the charging/charged indicators are a nice size.

Batteries are still used in many products, like my remote control and fire detectors, etc... this helps me keep my products charged without having to make a trip to the store for more batteries. Very useful.

Present for my grandson. Energizer was the only brand he wanted and trusted. Great that it worked on lots of different sizes.

I have the battery candles and there is no way I'm buying more batteries to keep them going.

Recharged four D batteries at one time. One day later one battery had to be recharged. Thought problem was the battery but on recharge it worked. Charger had registered as 'complete' but I think it wasn't. Still happy with charger due to universality

My only gripe about this product is the amount of time it takes to charge "D" batteries - close to 12 hours to fully charge 4 "D" batteries? I guess it's better than buying new batteries every week.

This charger is a set it and forget it charger. No need to check back in since this charger will shut itself off once the batteries are charged. So no over charging which would destroy your batteries.
