This battery charger works well. I was able to recharge AA and AAA batteries. It takes a while, but it saves me from having to keep buying batteries for remotes and other small devices. I have fully charged batteries ready to go, then recharge the spent ones to be used later. So far, I haven't had to buy replacements for the batteries I have, so I've gotten my money's worth out of them and the charger.

I gave it 5 stars because this item is almost perfect. It comes with 4 of the 2 amp NiMH batteries which are the 2nd highest amperage batteries. Wish it came with the 2.3 amp batteries, but the 2 amp are very good. These are great for everything and perfect for gaming controllers as most come with regular AAs which don't last long and are non-rechargeable, so a lot of unneccessary battery and chemical waste. This item's batteries have more watts and last twice as long, especially when using 2 in one device. They charge pretty quickly but that doesn't even matter because you'll always have 2 batteries that are fully charged to replace the 2 when they run out of power. And as I said, rechargeable over and over for at least 5 years. Depending on how much you use them or not, you'll save hundreds of dollars on overpriced 4-packs of regular AAs that don't last as long and constantly thrown away and barely recycled. Buy this exact item, the lower priced ones charge slow and are only 1.3 amp batteries.

So the cool thing about this charger other than having the ability to charge the batteries it comes with is that it holds batteries very snugly compared to a lot of the ones I used in the past. It also has a beep that goes off that indicates charges being full so you aren't totally ignoring it soundlessly throughout the day. While these are nice features to have on such a charger, I think I just had a stroke of bad luck and one of the ports for the batteries stopped working so shortly into owning it, thus functionally eliminating the usefulness of half of the charger itself since it's not registering a proper connection in one of the ports. Now I'm only knocking it down one star for that, because I'm accounting that not every unit has this happen to it. I like to believe that one that is fully in tact would be a great charger for consistent use, and having more ways of indicating charge status than just LED's themselves.

This charger is great for the money, and great for charging batteries for my Xbox controllers. I love Xbox, but I've always hated how they don't have built in batteries in their controllers like everyone else, but a simple charging station like this solves that issue. I have 3 sets of rechargeable batteries, one set in the controller, and 2 that always stay charging. It's great because you don't have to charge with a wire that will more than likely disrupt the way you're playing. This is definitely the cheapest and BEST solution for controller batteries. The only gripe I have with the charger, is that the batteries don't fit too snugly in the charger, the charger is meant for both AAA and AA so the AA literally JUST fit, but for the price, I can't really complain.

I got this for my xbox controllers. It's a great alternative to the xbox re-chargeable packs because they are universal batteries that can be used for other things too. It's also smart and gives you a traffic light indicator of the charge levels and a beep when they're done.

Works flawlessly. Saves money on aa or aaa batteries would recommend. Fast charge and good energizer batteries i likenot having to buy batteries.i use them in my outdoor weather station and have lasted 6months so far.

I love this Energizer rechargeable AA battery system! My son goes through AA batteries for his xBox controller like they grow on trees! The expense was ridiculous. This recharger is saving us so much $$! It charges 4 batteries (they have to be Energizer rechargeable batteries) very quickly, & they last a long time before needing recharging. He just keeps it plugged in near his desk, so its super easy for him. We’re finally out of this battery loop & no longer throwing money away. I bought an additional unit for me for my flameless candle batteries. That makes my husband happy ;-)

These batteries are great for gaming. I play most of the day and I only have to swap out every two or three days. The charger is easy to use and I find the price to be extremely fair, especially since it comes with four batteries.

It certainly does the job! Can't ask for much more! Seems to be pretty fast working compared to other ones I've had as well.

This battery charger is well built and easy to use.

Good: It worked on two batteries my old charger reported as bad. Bad: It plugs directly into the wall socket (i.e. no cord), so it limits where I can use it.

Works great and the batteries last pretty long for the things I use them for.

I use these batteries for my xbox controller and they last a pretty long time tbh i could get some long gaming nights in before needing to switch out the batteries and they also charge up pretty fast too.

The charging is fast and the batteries are reliable; the light system is easy to understand and I especially like that the charger provides mounts for AAA as well as AA and can charge two pairs of each simultaneously.

great value charger. it does the job and it takes about 4 hours only to charge. saves you money from buying regular batteries.

I got tired of recycling alkaline batteries so I bit the bullet and bought this rechargeable pack with 4 AA batteries. I really needed it for AAA batteries so I bought a 4 pack of those, too. It charges pretty fast...at least not as long as it says it's supposed to. The batteries work great!

My son was constantly asking for batteries for his Xbox controller. I decided to try the rechargeable batteries. When I purchased them they needed to be charged. They charged to maximum capacity very quickly. It’s been a month since he started using the batteries and they do not need recharging yet. Great buy! I would recommend this product.

Batteries AND a charger? Sign me up! Okay - you already signed me up and I couldn't be happier. Take that Oculus Quest handsets, now I can play and not feel like I'm killing the environment. Or at least not as quickly as with disposable batteries. To the unit itself - they charge quickly, and last as long as a solid battery should. Buy this - you won't regret it.

This is one of those purchases that are almost a no brainer, and a very necessary purchase. This charger charges pretty fast completing a full charge. The indicator lights on the front are a great addition as well. lets not fail to mention that the batteries last a very long time once fully charged. I Use them in absolutely everything, remotes, speakers, wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, lights etc
