They're batteries. They work great right out of the box. Lithium batteries work great in flashlights - that's what I use they for.

I use the lithium in devices that I don't want the leaking alkalines to ruin. Yes the lithium ones cost more, but replacing some of my devices due to alkaline battery leakage costs more.

Sometimes claims made in advertisements are hyperbole. The claims made for longevity of these batteries are spot on. It is effectively cheaper and less wasteful to use this battery type over alkaline batteries.

Lithium batteries do last longer and are perfect for high drain electronics. I have not compared these to other lithium brands.

Best battery on the market these days kind of expensive but I'd rather pay more for a longer lasting battery

I have gotten so tired of big battery manufactures cheeping out so that they can raise thier profit margin at the expence of the customers equipment. I was buying the biggest brands product at the biggest big box store for many years up until this year when I had enough of the leaky batteries ruining my stuff. They used to be the best but now they seem to be the worst. I have now switched to the Energizer Lithiums because they last super long and I have never had one leak. I started using thier 9 Volt batteries in my dual powered built in smoke detectors at my house because they are the only ones that last long enough for me to be able to forget about the annoying beep of a low battery alert. That was years ago so it was an easy decision to make when I started looking for a new manufacture for my AA and AAA this year to switch to the Energizer Lithiums. Make sure you buy them at a brick and mortor store that sells a lot of them like Best Buy so that you wil be sure to get fresh ones. A lot of the on line stuff is old stock and reject stock so buyer beware. Great Voltage out of all the store bought ones I have bought and checked.

These batteries batteried very well but tasted kinda funny

These lithium batteries have been my preferred batteries for so many years. Available in "AA, AAA, CR123A, CR2", and many more sizes. Unfortunately Energizer does not make C or D lithium batteries; otherwise, I would never go back to alkaline. Pros: long battery life, lightweight and the best part, unlike with alkaline, I have never had the destructive leakage with these lithium batteries. Con: Price. But then again, you get what you pay for.

Best Buy always has all my batteries I need in stock with best prices. I get specialty uncommon ones also. These ultimate lithium batteries for a 8pack of AAA batteries is very reasonable price. Best Buy always have the best prices.
